⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Fantastic Stay at Mercure Hotel Beijing Road, Guangzhou One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Guangzhou! The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to the Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, with easy access to Metro Line 6, making it super convenient to explore the city. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The 5th-floor restaurant serves delicious food with great variety, and the ambiance is lovely too. I was especially impressed with the breakfast buffet — a good mix of both local and international options, fresh and tasty every morning. The staff were polite, helpful, and efficient, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Overall, a highly recommended stay for both business and leisure travelers. I will definitely return on my next trip to Guangzhou!

We love the idea that this hotel is connected to a huge indoor park, hence we booked the biggest room 1774 for parents and kids, which was said to be 70sqm. However, when entering the room, we found the room is too small, looks more like a 35-40sqm. Then we walked to the balcony and that's explained, the balcony was quite big, surrounding the whole area; however, it's completely filthy & moldy, covered with thick layer of dust, seems like nobody ever vacuum or mop it. I dropped something on the floor and it rolled under the electric sofa, guess what I found? 2 big pieces of food on a stained carpet. There's something looked so disgusting 🤢 on the drainage in the bathroom that I didn't dare to take a close photo. The toilet seat is crooked. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful, good location. Plus point: can watch fireworks to the fullest from the balcony. Honestly speaking, we did have good time despite the unhygienic room. Hopefully this poor hygiene was just due to overwhelming peak season.

We came downtown Shenzhen from the suburb for the weekend. It was a great choice to take this hotel. My 4yrs son loved the children's pool next to that of adults. We had such a great time during the weekend. Lobby staff and room keeper are nice and friendly. They always tried their best to help us all the time. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for the family with kids.

We went back to Zhongshan to visit some of our relatives, we booked this hotel because it is very convenient to everywhere and is at downtown. You will find snacks nearby, supermarkets and 2 major shopping malls. We booked the 60 sq. meter room but being upgraded to 90 sq. meter with executive lounge access. Not only this, the next day we were stuck at Zhongshan because of the strong wind, ferries all closed, the hotel offered us the same price booked for 60 sq. meter but still upgraded us to 90 sq. meter. This is actually very generous. Thank you team and taking care of us during our hassle.

I had a very good time staying at this hotel. It’s just a 3–5 minute walk to the MTR Hubei station, which is super convenient. The staff are nice and friendly, and the room is clean and a good size. They provide everything you need for your stay. There’s also a coffee shop in the lobby, which makes things even easier. Highly recommend for anyone!

The room was quite spacious and provided a relaxing environment, although there were some issues that I can overlook since the price was very affordable. However, I noticed that the bathing area needed significant repairs. The basin looked broken, and some areas were dusty. Overall, my experience at this hotel was satisfactory.

Had a quick stay over night in Shenzhen. Choose the ShangriLa in Lohu, simply because I just came from Shanghai and stayed in the ShangriLa JingAn hotel. The hotel is much older than Shanghai and more run down to be honest. But I knew I would have a good night sleep for just one night, I didn't care about the rest. As long I can rest well during my hectic business trip thru China. Anyhow, it didn't disappoint and because it was close to other venues it was quite a centralized location within Shenzhen. Next day I had to be off to Hong Kong border, so that is also a big plus for this ShangriLa location. Will come back again for a leisure stay.

Amazing stay at Voco Shifu Hotel! I had a truly pleasant stay at Voco Shifu Hotel. The atmosphere is wonderful, calm and relaxing. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I also loved the location — it’s very convenient and close to many attractions. The housekeeping staff were polite and always greeted me with a warm smile, which made me feel very welcome. The service overall was excellent, and I’d like to give special thanks to Jimmy, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. His attention to detail and kind assistance made my experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. I will definitely come back again!

Friendly front office. Staff 一亦 very friendly. Near walking street. Not so many places for breakfast nearby. Nice lobby with many books. Room comfortable.

Booked 3 nights at this hotel with breakfast and it well worth. Clean and spacious room & good facilities. Its also convenient with a shopping mall right next door! The buffet breakfast comes with a good selection & the restaurant staff provided very good services. They even helped us to heat up the food that we bought from outside & are very attentive to our needs.
