Great stay at Mercure Guangzhou Beijing Road! The location is super convenient, right by Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and close to many attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with a mattress that gave great support. We requested a lot of mineral water and extra pillows, and the hotel provided them generously. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially 小美. Excellent value—would definitely stay again!

The location of the hotel is great; just off the main road and facing the inside so it’s quiet. Good service from the hotel staff. There was even a lychee tasting at the lobby on one of the days I was staying there. The hotel provided a couple of different lychees for guests to try. The rooms are clean and large, and well-designed. Highly recommended hotel!

As usual the service was great apart from the room allocated was an end room, which doesn’t really like. The toilet was smaller as it was also near the staircase had a corning chopped off. If we are allocated again will definitely change it. The desk top was really clean as i use a piece of cleaner and there was lots of dirty on it, this was a bit disappointed. As usual the bellboys were amazing.

The hotel is located in a good location, about 5 minutes walk from Hubei metro station. There are many restaurants around. Tried the recommended hot pot at the restaurant diagonally across the road. The food great and the design of the restaurant very special. See photos. The reception and the beverage counter is at ground floor. 2 Complimentary coupons, 2nd one at 50% discount are provided for drinks. The latte and cappuccino excellent. The room came with buffet breakfast which is excellent with many choices. The staff very helpful and friendly.

I had a really pleasant stay here. The caretakers were excellent—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The entire property was kept very clean and tidy, which made the experience even more comfortable. Service overall was outstanding. What impressed me most was how the team went above and beyond in assisting me with parcel deliveries. Not only did they help receive my packages, but they personally ensured they were brought up to my room. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out. I left feeling well taken care of and would gladly return again. The hotel is clean the room is big and the stuff is very helpful and friendly. Easy to walk around and I discover something very delicious opposite the hotel there’s this dumpling shop nice to eat and good to buy. I bought some cold dumpling to bring back home to enjoy with my family and friends😋 I have friends who is coming over in 2 months time. I would definitely tell them to stay in this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, 5 mins walk to Beijing street, and eateries are around the hotel. During the stay our room aircond has spoil but the hotel upgraded us to double bedroom which is bigger and more comfortable. The only cons would be the lift, it took us sometime waiting for the lift.

Originally an older upscale hotel, the facade has been recently renovated, giving the entrance a modern and grand appearance. Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Luohu Port. While the room's original furnishings have a classic, somewhat dated feel, it was spotlessly clean and offered good value for money, especially at less than 400 RMB on a Saturday. Minor drawbacks: 1. The hotel hallways have noticeably low ceilings. 2. Only 3 out of 5 elevators were operational. Major Drawbacks: 1. The banquet hall entrance was directly adjacent to my room. An event was held there in the afternoon, creating significant noise. What's more, guests could only access the banquet hall via the guest room corridor, leading to a constant stream of non-guests passing by my door. If this is the unavoidable route for banquet access, then a room in this location should absolutely not be designated as a guest room; it's only fit for a storage or linen room. 2. The air conditioning (AC) was practically useless. Even set to 18℃ with the fan on high, it only produced a very weak, slightly cool breeze. It struggled all night, only managing to cool the room to 27.5℃, resulting in an uncomfortably hot night. I checked in around noon and only returned to my room after 11:30 PM. With an early check-out the next morning for Hong Kong, I simply didn't have the energy or time to request a room change. I find it hard to believe that the previous guest wouldn't have reported this AC issue.

My first visit to China was truly memorable. From the doorman to the reception and housekeeping team, every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. I was simply amazed by the high standard of hospitality and the warmth extended throughout my stay. It made me feel welcomed and cared for at every step. To add on . Daily brew soup is an awesome gesture ! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come again!
