Stayed one night at this very nice hotel. Easy check-in, good view from 15th floor of Ipoh, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, WiFi included and the air-con worked well. We had a big buffet breakfast the next morning- lots of choice so couldn’t try everything. Pool looked inviting but was closed, the gym had several machines but the room was hot so we went walking instead.

Spacious room for the same category of hotel. Room amenities also complete. They even gave local snack food n 2 cans of carbonated drinks. Hotel didn't provide bottle drinking water but at every floor, 2 units of water dispenser were placed and the filtered water taste good. Only one bad thing, room's window sound proofing were poor. Can hear noise from outside of window.

Our three-night stay exceeded expectations. We were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, and particularly by the exceptional service provided by receptionist Kai Jun. His professionalism and composure when handling a challenging guest were commendable. Upon arrival, our room was not yet ready, requiring a 20-minute wait. Kai Jun kept us consistently updated on the room's status, ensuring a smooth and comfortable wait in the lobby. While the hotel is relatively new and exhibited a slight paint odor, the use of fragrance minimized its impact. The culinary offerings were a highlight, with both the food and mocktails proving to be exceptionally delicious, complementing Ipoh's renowned food scene. The swimming pool was notably clean, and our spacious city-view room provided a stunning panorama. We highly recommend requesting this view. The staff's attentiveness was evident throughout our stay. They consistently greeted us warmly, adding a delightful touch to our daily experience. Room service was prompt and courteous, although we found it more efficient to request additional amenities, such as pillows and blankets, directly from the staff on our floor rather than via the often-busy phone line. One area for improvement is the parking gantry, which experienced occasional glitches, causing delays for several vehicles. Despite this minor inconvenience, we would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

One of the top hotels in Ipoh. Quite a big hotel, with 13 floors (including a bar and infinity pool at the rooftop). The twin room is a comfortable size for 2. All amenities provided, including complimentary snacks and 2 canned drinks in the mini bar. They've also installed a filter tap beside the basin in the bathroom that provided free flow drinking water. There's also a hot water dispenser provided at the lobby. The rooftop pool is a fair size and you get a lovely sunset view too. It's also accessed controlled by room card, ensuring exclusivity for in-house guests. There's also a gym but I didn't check it out. I love the creative Christmas tree in the lobby that had little towel animals, a running train and hand written greetings. The hotel is also connected to Ipoh Parade mall, providing great convenience. The hotel stay came with complimentary breakfast buffet from 6.30am to 10.30am and supper from 11pm to 2am! Breakfast is common but Supper is pretty innovative. Though the spread is limited to 1 savoury and 1 sweet item, the idea itself was a feel-good worthy thought. The breakfast spread is rather standard but quality is so so, I did enjoy the Nasi Lemak station and Chee Cheong Fun.

The hotel has a great location, close to restaurants and street art. We stayed in a room on the 10th floor with a good view on the park. The downsides were the unpleasant smell of sewage from the bathroom, the cleaning was mediocre, there was no refrigerator. Otherwise, the hotel corresponded to the description for its 3 stars. If you are looking for a hotel to spend the night in, this hotel might be your choice.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Taiping, right next to Taiping Mall, making it very easy to access shopping and dining options. The room was modern, spacious, and clean. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the large windows that offered a beautiful view of the city. The bathroom was well-maintained, with good water pressure in the shower and all the necessary toiletries provided. The staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, Novotel Taiping is a good choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Exceptional Stay at One of the Best Hotels This is my experience at one of the exquisite hotels I have witnessed recently. The moment we checked in, we were met with excellent service from accommodating as well as polite staff. The friendly reception gave us a glimpse of what was to follow. The best part about the hotel was the breakfast which was simply immaculate. The rich variety in the food that was provided was more than we expected so it definitely made our day a whole lot better. The serenity of the hotel was truly commendable. They had a private beach that entirely shut out the noise from the outside world. We had some amazing evenings towards the beach and enjoyed the beauty nature had to offer along with the peaceful setting. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool as it felt like having a waterpark in the house. Seeing them so engaged and happy was truly a bliss. In conclusion, all of us had an amazing time at this hotel and I most definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. Thank you once again to the amazing staff in making my stay truly unforgettable!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Symphony Suites Hotel, Ipoh, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel is strategically located, just a 10-minute drive to Ipoh city center, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who immediately made us feel at home. To our delight, we were also offered complimentary afternoon tea and light snacks - a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. The room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The toilet was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, which is always a big plus. Breakfast at the hotel was simple but delicious, featuring fresh and satisfying options to start the day right. One lovely surprise was finding a personalized note in my room after check-in. The management had left a greeting wishing me a Merry Christmas. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made me feel so warm and happy. Small touches like this truly set this hotel apart. Thank you so much! Another highlight is the nearby amenities. Within walking distance, we found a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and even a bar and bistro, offering a variety of dining choices to suit different tastes. 1st time to Ipoh and happy that I chose this hotel. It is very convenient to mall, eatery n places of interest. The check in was very smooth and fast.  Am delighted that I was able to checked into my room at around 9am instead of 3pm . Room is clean and spacious with nice view too. The only thing are the toilet door and the main door is too old very hard to close 😅 other than that everything is good😁The b’fast spread is very simple nothing to be picky abt , just nice to fill up your tummy.  Thank you for your hospitality and will sure to recommend to friends.

This was the best hotel we have stayed in ipoh. We had a fantastic night for our anniversary, thankq so much for the hotel arrangement. It’s was so lovely and extremely comfortable stay. The hotel location is very convenient and the front desk officers are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended 👍

Overall, Novotel Taiping is a good choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Checkin was smooth and fast, just a few minutes after we arrived and we got our key. Room was clean and fragrant, bathroom superb with bathtub, deluxe room was quite spacious we can perform our prayers with ease. Pool was clean and very big to swim for adults. For the breakfast, we enjoyed small bites of every menu provided, eating at the outdoor area we even got to see a group of hornbills flying and resting on trees next to the hotel. Definitely will be back again someday!

Facilities are okay, just need to add a refrigerator to put water and fruit (for snacking). Got a coupon for free breakfast but had to go to a Kandar rice shop and had to cross the road to the other side because the hotel building didn't have a cafe. The room is not sound proof because you can hear people walking outside the hotel room and when the next room uses the bathroom. Overall okay. 3/5

Room was big and spacious. Clean. Just a pity that we only stayed for a night. Drove to Taiping lake and other places which were not too far away. Nice eating places nearby too.

Our family booking for a group of 4 so we took 2 single rooms. Location is not bad; a bit secluded thus the traffic to get to the hotel was light. The rooms were decent; they met the requirement given the room rate. Our rooms didn’t come with breakfast but we decided to pay on our own. The coffeehouse was nice; typical local breakfast selections. Took some time to check the pool area which was in a semi outdoor setup while still protecting you from rains and thunderstorms. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a short, family-related trip to Taiping. 

Pros: Check in is good. Location wise is convenient near the food court and mall. Room size is a big. Mattress so so... Stay. One night should fine. CONS Location near the pub and quite noisy until midnight. Also beside the road and room windows were not able to close fully that you can hear the noise from the street. :

Overall good comfortable, clean. However water pipe too loud, woke us up early in the morning when someone use the toilet 😞. Coffee, kettle provided. Staffs are friendly.

I just have a problem with the cleanliness and the interior building looks quite old. An upgrade in terms of the interior would be great.

It was a homey two storey building with bunches of old antiques scattered around. Level two upstairs is wood flooring so no shoes allowed. Slippers provided to go to their wide and large bathrooms with water heaters, shampoo, soap etc. There's a small veranda beside the bathrooms upstairs. Iron and hair dryers also provided. Wide lockers at the bottom of the bunk beds. Mini fridge, coffee and tea for everyone to use. Two front doors for double security. Hosts are friendly.
