Room was not clean. There were cobwebs everywhere, black mould by the windows and curtains as well as in the bathroom, there was thick dust on the walls, the bathtub drain was clogged and the towels provided had stains.
I didn't like the fragrance of the hand and body wash provided.
Breakfast was very good. The blossom restaurant is spacious with friendly staff.
Overall the hotel was is in a good location and has lovely views, however for the price the room was very basic.
In the perfect location right on the pathway at the waters edge in sight of the chapel.
Beautiful period building with a restaurant with views over the water. Spacious garden. Onsite parking.
Eave rooms was nice with delicious biscuits on teatray.
We thought the hotel itself was incredible, such a beautiful setting and great value for money. We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and sauna and really felt these amenities made this hotel stand out. Breakfast was brilliant, lovely range of hot and cold food with coffees/teas etc! However, we had dinner at the bistro at 7:45pm, though the staff were lovely, the food itself was very disappointing. I had a plant based burger and fries for £20 and can honestly say it was very poor. My partner ordered the tamarind pork, it wasn’t cooked throughout, appeared raw next to the bone and didn’t do his stomach any favours during the night, we did raise this and staff took this on board.
Despite this, I would absolutely book again but do feel the quality of the food does not anywhere near reflect the quality of the hotel and the warm service.

We were pleasantly surprised at the value for money at this hotel. We just wanted a non expensive nights sleep whilst visiting family in the area. We were impressed by the size of the room, cleanliness and even got a decent continental breakfast thrown in.
No complaints, did exactly what it promised and price was excellent. View from hotel room window enclosed
The hotel is located in a small town, very quiet, you can walk to the supermarket to shop, the shops along the street close early, is a good place for vacation and leisure, the air is very fresh.
Loved our stay at The Old White Hart. Beautiful historic building in a peaceful village setting. Breakfast was excellent and the garden is perfect for a quiet drink. Would definitely return!
It was busy when I checked in, but the welcome was warm. The hotel is not accessible as it is so old and rooms are up a steep staircase.. The room was comfy and there were facilities for coffee & tea + biscuits. Bathroom was clean and cheery, good shower. Excellent breakfast.
All staffs are very helpful during my check-in and also after check out. Tidy and clean room. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Definitely will visit again for my next trip. Thank you.
