Howard Johnson Neodalle Resort Zhangjiajie

Fantastic location. Better than expected. Just 15 minutes walking away from East gate to Zhangjiajie national forest. Convenient breakfast. Delicious food. We used swimming pool. Good facilities. The horrible thing is than hotel staff is unable to cotrol guests and guarantee that it would be non smoking hotel. I would asume that hotel even tolerates smoking in coridors, restrooms of the hotel because there are ashtreys everywhwere.

Breakfast was nice and varied, but adding more Middle Eastern options would make it better

We booked a Mountain View king room. Upon arrival, we reminded checkin reception that our room must have Mountain View’s, which we were assured it was. Sadly, our room faced a building and I called to complain about . 5 mins later, a lady called my room and rudely asked which platform I booked from because they DO NOT have Mountain View rooms and I was misled. I was shocked when she then hung up on my while I explained that it was clearly stated on Trip.com website. A few phone calls later , about 40 mins after our checkin, another receptionist came to my room and said she found me a Mountain View room and we moved! Why waste precious time when they could have given me my room at checkin, especially when I reminded them? 2) Why did that lady call me and lie blatantly that there were NO Mountain View rooms? Very disappointed with this hotel

Room big, nice hotel, walking to science area. At night you can shopping2 infront hotel, The hotel staff very helpful, i n husband need medicine he help us to order online. The price is value for money, with the room condition and hotel.

We really liked our stay there . The hotel is super big, the room was big and clean , good service. Not much options for western breakfast but it’s standard situation in China. Location very good as well .

Location could not have been better to access the park entrance and nearby shops. Jenny and Wendy both provided a warm welcome upon arrival and a beautiful upgrade to a room with a balcony on the sixth floor. Adwan promptly brought the luggage to the room and ensured I had everything I needed. Kiki and Tom were helpful upon departure with transportation and luggage storage. Highly recommend this hotel for its exquisite accommodations and personable staff. Room was huge with a fully glassed-in bathroom complete with soaking tub and separate shower. They spared no expense on in-room amenities from the two umbrellas to the shoehorn. Breakfast was quite extensive — obviously heavier on Chinese selections; Westerners would do well to add more savory items like noodles and salad to breakfast,
