Introduction to Bamboo Man Holiday Homestay
Nestled beside Zimugang Ticket Station, the middle gate of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area, Bamboo Man Holiday Homestay commands a world heritage 秘境 (secret wonderland) boasting "three thousand magical peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters". The diverse peak forests resemble immortals, beasts, and mythical objects, evolving infinitely; when mist clears after rain, clouds surge among layered mountains, stone peaks flicker in and out of sight, while waterfalls, springs, and streams compose a symphony of wonders, drawing hordes of domestic and international visitors.
Perched at 830 meters above sea level, the homestay serves as a natural oxygen bar, with 200,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter refreshing the lungs. Enveloped in tranquility below 30 decibels, it combines ideal air pressure, gentle spring water, and mountain breezes to nourish body and mind. Every room frames mountain vistas—emerald green peaks dripping with vitality, and babbling brooks—delivering an immersive mountain healing experience.
Stepping inside, the first-floor fireplace radiates warmth; the second floor houses a multimedia theater and restaurant blending elegance with culinary charm; the third-floor sky garden and tea house offer the perfect escape for a half-day of leisure. The courtyard's fishpond, vegetable garden, and orchard create a delightful landscape, providing fresh organic produce for guests to rediscover pastoral joy in fish-catching, shrimp-fishing, and fruit-picking.
The homestay's owner, a senior lawyer with 45 years of legal practice, built this spiritual haven after retirement. His legendary legal tales attract business elites, legal peers, and litigants seeking counsel, who gather here to converse, consult, or seek clarity. Though rooms are limited, they overflow with familial warmth, making every guest feel as cozy as visiting relatives.
"The B&B is located in Longweiba Village, just a few minutes' walk from the middle gate of Zhangjiajie Forest Park. Figure 3 shows the exterior of the B&B. It is located at the foot of the mountain, opposite the typical farmland scenery of the village. The scenery is very open and healing. There are public viewing platforms on each floor of the homestay, with natural scenery everywhere. The homestay manager will provide a detailed itinerary, communicate the breakfast time and the time to enter the scenic area, so that we can avoid the peak period and have a very comfortable travel experience. I heard from the housekeeper that Longweiba Village is a cluster of high-end homestays. It’s not a big place, but the environment is really quiet and beautiful, suitable for urban people who want a more comfortable holiday experience. This homestay is also very cost-effective, so I recommend it to everyone."
