The location is amazing, a short walk to the Park entrance and the main street with lots of restaurants and food options. The man who runs the place is extremely helpful and explained to us the day we arrived exactly where to go/what to see in the Forest Park and was also able to book us tickets to Tianmen mountain. There were a lot of other travellers staying and the rooftop common room is a great place to have beer and socialise. The only criticism I have is the cleanliness- it is actually quite clean but they need to deep clean the rooms more often. Underneath my mattress in the dorm, there was a lot of dust and rubbish left from previous guests that had gone unnoticed. Other than that, the place is perfect!

The hostel was a great experience for Zhangjiajie park. It’s so close to the east gate and the room was clean and quiet. The owner is very passionate about coffee and also about ******* culture. It was great to talk to him. It’s also very convenient that one of the bathrooms is outside the rooms so if you need to have a shower or use the toilet after you checked out it’s a good reason to choose staying here. Great for solo travelers.

Location is great which makes the value okay. Shower is quite dirty, could be improved by better cleaning. The common room is nice, but hygiene can be improved.

A wonderful place! Cozy, clean, modern. The manager is a sweetheart. I recommend you book your tours through him since it’s cheaper. The hotel is near food night market, where you can try delicious foods. I recommend you try baked buns with mutton from a Muslim place there. They’re the best
