At first, I chose this hostel at random from the website, and as they say, you have to believe in destiny.
I met a wonderful person there. He makes sure things go smoothly, connecting people to get to know each other. Very open. I made friends there.
It's been a long time since I felt this happiness of being surrounded by people, even though I'm a loner.

COCKROACHES, if that was not enough the bed sheets were dirty and had so many holes you would rather call them rags instead of sheets. The "Mattress" was also uncomfortable. The cleanliness was as already mentioned severely lacking. The showers also didn't have hot water and of course also really dirty. The owner was lazy and greedy constantly trying to sell me stuff. Even if you are tempted by the price it is NOT worth it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

It was a bad experience, I really don't recommend it. First of all, the hostel is very dirty and there is no maintenance at all. The bed is hard, although I know this is standard in hostels all over China. The air conditioning can only be turned on at night. There are no amenities like toilet paper or liquid soap. Also, it is far from the bus stop that comes from the West Railway Station, so you have to take a taxi or walk about 15 minutes, and it’s also the same distance from the cable car station to go to Tianmen Mountain. There are some hotel options with private rooms near the bus stop and the cable car station, for similar or slightly more expensive prices but believe me, it’s worth it. The only positive point is that the guy who welcomed me speaks English and is friendly.
