It's a small hotel, family owned with a cute big dog.
The room is spacious, and seats near the window are cute.
5 min walk to the entrance of Zhangjiajie which is really convenient as we booked the first slot in the morning and could rest after a long day of walking. The area has renowned Tujia cuisine restaurants.
However bear in mind that the hotel is not near the commercial area with shops. (20-25 min walk)

The owner can speak English, she was very nice , also helped us book for national park. The hotel is 3 min away for the entry gate.

Our stay at “The Pure Site” was really great! We had an amazing time: the room was clean, spacious, and very nicely furnished. The owners (wife and husband) were super kind and friendly! Mrs. Zhu went to great lengths to help us arrange our tour of ZZJ National Park and to purchase tickets. We arrived after a strong storm, and many routes and trails inside the park had been closed due to damages. Despite everything, thanks to the host’s suggestions, we were able to enjoy our time in the park at best (and with not so many people! 😜)
We totally recommend this hotel to anyone! 💯💯💯😊

We had an amazing stay! This is the best hotel we have stayed at during our time in China. The hosts are lovely and so helpful, giving us a detailed map through the national park and marking down all the routes we had to take. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the east gate. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located around 5 mins walk to East gate but is tucked away on a quiet street. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is also close to the night market that sells street food.
The hotel has a homely peaceful vibe and the dog is really adorable. The hosts are amazing and speak excellent English. The hosts really enjoy chatting with guests and they really went above and beyond driving me to a phone shop when my phone broke and even treating me to a homemade coffee. The hosts will also provide you with detailed instructions and a map so you can see the best parts of the park. The perfect place if you want to stay near the east gate.

Had an amazing stay at Pure Site (張家界意宿美學客棧）. The hosts were extremely friendly before we checked in and helped us arrange all the tickets (Zhangjiajie national park, tianmen mountain, baofeng lake) at a discount. They even sat down with us to help plan our route around the national park to ensure we see and experience the most within the limited time we had. They can also help to arrange luggage delivery to our hotel near the train station.
The rooms are clean and quite aesthetic with all necessary amenities and housekeeping everyday. The location is also perfect as it is a 5 minute walk away from the east gate of the national park so we can beat the crowd. There are also many restaurants around and the street market is only 2 streets down.
Overall highly recommend this hotel if you want to visit Zhangjiajie!

The hotel is very well located, a few minutes on foot from the park entrance. There are many restaurants and food stalls nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly, even helping setting up an itinerary in the park
