Highly recommended. Staff is friendly and can communicate with a bit of English. We appreciate the complimentary shuttle to South Gate and breakfast, and the free room upgrade! Breakfast was delicious, the resort is modern and beautifully staged, and having a on-site bakery for treats is a nice perk. Great quiet base to explore Zhangjiajie.

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel has a great location just right outside the South Gate of the national forest park. You can even see the rocks from the room and the pool area. The rooms are comfy and spacious.
But what was really outstanding is the service. The owner supported us so much for all bookings and itineraries for the national park. As European tourists this was such a relief and very helpful! Thank you so much!

The hostel is located about a 7-minute ride from the South Gate, and a Didi ride only costs around 6 RMB. The kind lady boss was very helpful and even assisted us in booking a Didi when needed. Considering the price we paid — which included free breakfast — it was quite a good deal.
We stayed in the tatami room located on the 4th floor, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. One downside was that the air-conditioning in the room wasn’t cold enough, making it difficult to sleep comfortably on hot summer nights.
My child was initially excited to see the pool, but unfortunately, it wasn’t clean — there were quite a lot of dead bugs floating in the water. On the bright side, the room had a spacious balcony where we could hang our clothes to dry and enjoy the peaceful, scenic surroundings.
The hostel also has an adorable one-year-old dog named Mian Bao (which means “bread” in Chinese) — a cute little highlight of our stay!

What an amazing stay! We got all the help we needed to plan our 4 days in the park. Room is very modern and with amazing views! It was too cold to use the pool, maybe next time!

Nice stay, we got also a room upgrade what was very nice the view was stunning! The food was Chinese so if you like it you like it and if you don’t you don’t. They got cute dogs 🐕 :). The communication was oke.

Best choice after 张家界 National Park, convenient pick-up on comfortable car from it. New rooms, very tasty “European” breakfast. Also helped with all my questions. Best of the best. Recommend
