Nestled deep beside emerald peaks, this guesthouse lies secluded, A rustic gate, where dogs bark and birds' chatter is included. Vines of gourds and beans around the fence, seeming to greet, The courtyard, full of flourishing plants, a nostalgic, sweet treat. From the rising smoke, loved ones call for dinner's delight, Local flavors fragrant, as the moon dips low in the night. Tipsy tales of daily life, whispered in lamplight's soft sway, A whole night of peaceful dreams, drifting with clouds far away. This is the idyllic rural life I've always yearned for, and it truly gives you that family feeling. All the vegetables are homegrown by the owner's family, prepared with just simple seasonings like green onions, ginger, and garlic, allowing you to savor the authentic, pure taste of the food – no artificial additives or heavy processing here. After eating, I felt completely rejuvenated and comfortable. In the early morning, immersed in nature, all other worries just melt away. Oh, and get this – the neighbor's big yellow dog was no match for the owner's cat; I was absolutely tickled!

This is hands down the most comfortable and thoughtful guesthouse I've ever stayed at. Firstly, the setting is incredibly pristine and natural, surrounded by stunning views. What's more, all the food is sourced locally from the surrounding mountains, ponds, and fields – it was absolutely perfect for someone like me who loves rustic, farm-to-table dining. Kids can enjoy complimentary activities like catching crawfish, picking tea leaves, harvesting corn, and digging up peanuts here, which were incredibly kid-friendly! We stayed for three days, but it still felt too short. Unfortunately, on our last day, we had to rush back due to a train ticket change and missed out on trying the authentic stewed black chicken. That left a small regret, but we'll definitely be back next time! Oh, and the best part is how genuine the owners and staff are; they never pressure you to spend extra, which is truly rare and appreciated.

Hands down, my favorite guesthouse to date! The surroundings are absolutely stunning. My husband and I stayed here throughout our 3-4 day trip to Zhangjiajie. The food was also delicious. Since we were driving ourselves, transportation wasn't an issue for us, but it might be a bit inconvenient if you don't have your own car. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Zhangjiajie!

The host was exceptionally kind. Enjoying a farm-to-table dinner in the courtyard was incredibly pleasant. The clay pot free-range chicken was absolutely superb! And the smoked pork stewed with lichen was a unique delicacy that you truly can't find elsewhere. The small loft in the family room was very comfortable. I only wish my next vacation could be longer, so I could spend more time soaking in the beautiful views.

We had a genuinely comfortable guesthouse experience here. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking; everyone kept asking us where we were! The food was also fantastic; the stir-fried beef, for example, was genuinely beefy – unlike other places where you mostly get chili, haha. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helped us plan our itinerary, offering great recommendations. The staff were very responsive to our requests and incredibly patient and attentive with the children. We highly recommend this place for families with kids, especially if you're driving! Watching the sunrise in the morning, stargazing at night, and enjoying tea and meals in the courtyard – it was truly a joyful experience!

This is an absolutely fantastic guesthouse. It boasts an elegant and charming atmosphere, nestled halfway up the mountain, offering fresh, peaceful air and beautiful views of the distant peaks. The location is excellent, very close to Wulingyuan's Middle Gate, making Yuanjiajie and Golden Whip Stream easily accessible. This setup is ideal for families with children and elderly guests who wish to explore the canyon at a relaxed pace. What truly sets this place apart is the incredibly thoughtful owner. They provide seamless pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic areas, which saved us a significant amount of time and money. The staff are also incredibly friendly, and all transfers were very courteous. The food served is clean and healthy. Crucially, the rooms and the entire accommodation environment are impeccably clean, with spotless bed linens – a rare quality, even compared to some hotels, which genuinely shows their dedication to guest well-being. The owner also offered relevant and sound advice on travel routes. Furthermore, there are kid-friendly activities available; my little one absolutely loved picking lotus pods, fishing for crayfish, and playing with other children! In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse! Families visiting Zhangjiajie can stay here with complete peace of mind. I will certainly be recommending it to all my friends planning a trip to the area. I usually don't write such lengthy reviews, but this was my first time bringing both elderly family members and children to Zhangjiajie, and we were completely satisfied with the trip, the enriching itinerary, and the excellent food and accommodation experiences.
