zhangjiajie Xiangxi story homestay

This is a very cute hotel in a great location. It is very close to the Tianzi 天子, North entrance to Zhangjiajie 张家界. We really walked to the park in the morning. It is the only hotel that is a little off the main road, making it quieter than most. It is still easy to walk to all the restaurants and convenience stores the town has to offer. The staff was very helpful and we happy to give advice about the best ways to view the park. We were here during Golden Week/Mid-Autumn Festival, and the town still was not crowded. The only problems with the room were that the mini fridge did not stay on when you pulled the key card out of the slot in the wall, so that you couldn't keep anything cold when you went out for the day. We also had trouble getting the air conditioner to hold the temperature we wanted. No major concerns. We would stay here again.

Friendly service and great location in village with lots of food available

Hostoric site with a village feel. But only local food available. The staff were real friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the historical moment.

Great spot to stay in zhangjijie. Less than a 10 min walk to the north gate of the park. Host was friendly and super helpful in making us a map to tour the park and how to get back easily. Little bit out of the city but the host can help organise a lift into the city if needed. Overall recommend. One thing to note was that I went in September and the pool was drained.

A nice clean and comfortable hotel really close to the Tanzishan gate.

The super friendly owner, explained to us how to move around the mountains. He drove us to the railway station in Zhangjiajie, and we paid half of the price that we paid for Didi. Highly recommend.
