Zhangjiajie Xiwu Homestay

Both the room and the courtyard are beautifully decorated. Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, we even spotted a rainbow after the rain. The room was incredibly spacious (the owner gave us a complimentary upgrade – the room I originally booked, which had a bathtub, was also lovely, just slightly smaller). All towels were disposable, and the entire place boasted smart home features. The owner was exceptionally warm and hospitable, even assisting us with our luggage to the car when we checked out. The absolute highlight, though, was the food – it was so incredibly delicious that we completely forgot to take pictures until after we'd finished! The prices for meals were comparable to dining at local restaurants. The beef hotpot was superb, packed with tender beef, and with some added side dishes, it was more than enough to satisfy a family of four. They also offer a selection of beer and other beverages. We tried two restaurants outside, and the food was just average; we much preferred eating at the owner's place. There's a washing machine with a drying function, a rain shelter for drying clothes, a parking lot, and EV charging, which is all incredibly convenient.

The environment is fantastic, and it's very convenient if you're traveling by car. The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh. The owner is incredibly warm and hospitable, and the service is excellent. They're also a great resource for local travel tips, itineraries, and even booking tickets.

This guesthouse is a real gem! It boasts brand new facilities and a wonderful ambiance. Its location near the South Gate is incredibly convenient, and the owner even provided pick-up and drop-off services. The owners, who moved from Shenzhen to Zhangjiajie to establish this guesthouse, clearly have a strong commitment to quality. It truly stands out from other guesthouses in the scenic area, offering a genuinely comfortable and pleasant experience.
