Yuelu Homestay(Zhangjiajie National Forest Park)

Nowhere else in the world have we felt such exceptional care from a hotel owner as at Yuelu Homestay. I searched for a hotel for a long time and made a fantastic choice. My sincerest thanks, first and foremost, to the owner, Zhuzhu, and the other people who create the atmosphere of this incredible place. When traveling to Zhanjiajie National Park, you don't need luxury hotels, because they will never provide what you'll find in this incredible place. You don't go here to lie around and relax; you explore the park all day, and when you return, you're treated like family. You'll definitely feel that when you're here. You can count on help with organizing your itinerary, tickets, delicious food, and laundry, among other things. You don't have to worry about a thing. And this is crucial, because organizing a trip to a country you've never been to before is very time-consuming and stressful. Zhuzhu takes some of that burden off your shoulders thanks to their hard work and dedication. I also confirm all the previous reviews of this guesthouse.

The experience at Yuelu Homestay was amazing! The hostess Merry is very friendly and generous. We stayed here for 4 nights. She gave us an upgrade to a bigger room, which was amazing. She also explained which routes to take in the national park and took us there on the first day to get us in. I forgot my passport in the room, but because of her I got in and it was no problem at all for the whole day. We had breakfast and dinner at the Homestay everyday which was amazing every time. She made something different every day, often with vegetables from her own garden. We eat vegetarian and that was no problem at all. There was also lots of fresh fruits, especially the pomelo tasted great :) Highly recommend to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Couldn't recommend this place enough. Mary is an amazing hostess, she takes great care of you and explains everything in detail. She worked at Zhangjiajie national park so she has experience and knows the best routes so you can get to see everything in the best way possible!

A home away from home. The location is within walking distance to the west gate, which is way less crowded. Mary was a wonderful host to guide us on how to visit the park, making tickets and transport arrangements. Most of all, I love her delicious home cooked breakfast and dinner. She takes pride in providing warm hospitality.
