Hotel Mercure Wien Zentrum Reviews

Great location, just a short walk away from shops and restaurants and all the major sights. A comfortable room, average size for a couple but nice and clean. Comfortable bed for 2 people over 6ft. We didn't use the hotel restaurant but the option is there for breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of places locally to eat if you should choose to. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with advice on Christmas markets and what to see in a limited amount of time! The hotel also offered free walking tours, which we didn't get to go on but we would definitely factor this in for future trips. Overall a very pleasant stay, and not bad value for money for a central Vienna location.

Right in the middle of the old centre. A wonderful location to explore Wien and beyond as the trams as just really around the corner and will easily connect you to all type of transport. The rooms I got were good size and have everything I need except for one thing, a great AC. The AC needs to be better. I got first a room with the roof as ceiling, and the AC could not help the heat wave that Vienna was experiencing that day. The lower room, was the same AC but enough to cool down the room but not really to the best temperature that I would find the best.

The room is in a good location, close to the U1 subway station, and it is very convenient to eat and shop nearby. The room is very very small. There is plenty of drinking water every day. The breakfast menu is 26 euros per person, and you can order fried eggs. The rest of the self-service categories are coffee, cereal, and bread. The coffee is delicious. The front desk is very friendly.

The room is clean, the service is friendly, the breakfast is rich, and it is 2-3 minutes away from the pedestrian street and close to the museum group. Very convenient.
