The location is excellent, but there is no unload bay at the hotel, so I have to unload the luggage along the road quickly before heading to the car park.

Great hotel for a price

Accompanying my old mother on a trip, in order to avoid the old woman being tired during the journey, I chose to stay at the Machi Tenpei Hotel, which is a 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, for one night. The hotel is located at the intersection of the commercial street and the scenic area in Nara Scenic Area. The beautiful view of Sarusawa Lake is outside the window. There is a Starbucks downstairs and Kofuku-ji Temple is opposite. In the morning, I went to Kasuga Taisha and Nara Park, and took a rest in the hotel in the afternoon. There is a public bath in the basement. There are six kinds of shampoo to choose from. The honey one in the hexagonal bottle is more suitable for my hair quality, and there is also pola. The hotel provides disposable socks and hair bands, which are of good quality. The raised tatami in the room can not only experience Japanese-style accommodation, but also facilitate various groups of people. There is a small balcony outside the room where you can dry clothes. At around 6 o'clock in the evening, many businesses in the block got off work and it was very quiet.

When you come to Nara, stay at Tenpyo Hotel. The overall environment of the hotel is warm and comfortable, with complete amenities. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sarusawa Pond when you open the window. It is also very close to Kintetsu Nara Station and next to the Higashigoku Shopping Street, making it very convenient for eating.

The hotel is very good. The room is spacious, clean, and proportional. When you arrive, you can leave your luggage. When you come back to check in, the staff will bring your luggage to the room for you. Amenties has socks to wear with the geta. There are pajamas and a Dyson hair dryer in the room. You can go soak in the onsen. There are many shampoo bars and skincare products to try. The location is also very good. We stayed in a corner room. The window opened to see the view of the pool. On the other side is a mountain with a temple + cherry blossoms. It's so cool. If I have a chance, I will come back here again. 🌸🫶🏻

The location is really convenient. The hotel is close to Nara Commercial Street and a few steps to the temple, where you can see the deer. The hotel room is spacious and can accommodate three people without any problems.

This is a superb hotel and I rate it so highly that I took the initiative to write a review here. First of all, the location is superb, just behind Xingfu Temple, you can reach it by the stairs. There are often deer by the pond next to the hotel, which can be seen in the room (I booked two rooms and I can see them by opening the window). If you want to go to various attractions, you can walk for three to five minutes. If you want to eat at the restaurant where locals eat every day, it is even more convenient. The food is good and cheap and very authentic, which is completely different from the scenic spot. Secondly, the whole hotel is at the junction of residential areas and scenic spots. Both the surrounding environment and the hotel itself are quite quiet, and I suspect that I was the only traveler in the hotel for these two nights. I really don’t understand why others don’t choose it; thirdly, maybe because there were really no guests, the hygiene was very good. I saw other comments saying that the quilt was very cold at night. This hotel has heating, and the quilt cover is indeed very slippery, but the heating is turned on so that we don’t need to cover the quilt at all... There is a large bathhouse on the underground first floor, which is very clean and empty, so I have it all to myself... Finally, thank you for specially arranging to upgrade the two best rooms in the hotel because of my birthday, and also preparing birthday gifts for me. After checking out, they also prepared handwritten birthday cards and candies, which I have never encountered in five-star hotels. I highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. If I come to Nara again in the future, I will continue to choose this hotel.

Although it is a short distance from the station, it does not affect its convenience. The quality of the hotel is quite good, and it even provides calligraphy supplies for travelers to experience! A hotel that is very attentive to maintaining culture. The bento for breakfast was delicious. We took it to Mount Wakakusa to enjoy it. Although it was cold, it was still delicious. (It was still hot when I got it at the restaurant! A very carefully made and delicious bento.)

The room looks new, clean, tidy, and not too big. The facilities are quite complete. There is a public bath on the basement floor, which is very small. The location is very good, with Sarusawa Pond and the three-story and five-story pagodas of Kofuku-ji Temple (under renovation) outside the window. There is a public observation deck in front of the second floor, as shown in the photo below.

It's hard to rate it in one night, but we liked everything. The Japanese-style room was new to us. It's not far from the metro, the train station is further away of course... There's a Starbucks on the first floor, it's convenient that it opens at 8am and you can have breakfast there. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but you can order a bento in advance. Would we stay again? Definitely yes.

The room is quite big and very convenient. It is very close to the tourist attractions and the commercial area. There is a Family Mart next to it. A few steps away are the drugstore and Lawson. It is also very quiet at night. I have a small suggestion that I hope to provide disposable slippers. In addition, the quilt is not very breathable

The bed sheets are uncomfortable and rustle. They are not made of cotton. The location is very convenient. There is a tourist attraction across the street. The shower in the room has only 10-20 seconds of water discharge time, just like the bathtub. You need to press it again to get water out.
