"I had an absolutely infuriating experience at Normads Hostel. Despite making a reservation two days ahead and confirming it multiple times, their communication was a complete disaster. They kept pestering me to confirm the reservation, but when I asked for specifics about the room, they deliberately ignored my requests until the last minute. When I finally arrived, exhausted from a 180-kilometer journey, I was appalled to find that the room I had clearly requested for just my mom and me was shared with other guests. The staff only responded to my concerns through messages when I was practically at the hostel, seemingly to cover their own mistakes. The worst part? They tried to scam me by demanding payment for all four beds in the room, even though we only needed two. This outrageous attempt at overcharging felt like a blatant fraud. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly urge anyone considering this hostel to think twice!!!!!"

"Terrible. DO NOT GO HERE. The sheets looked as if the Ottomans had slept on them 200 years ago. It smells like sewer, they cover it up with perfume which wears off after a few hours. You can't breathe. Nasty breakfast, parties in the hall until late at night and the staff acts as if they have never heard your complaint (even though you also see other people with bad experiences in the reviews). Unsafe to reach after sunset. Don't risk this experience, I don't recommend it to anyone."
