Excellent location which is attached to the Tsuchiura Station.

It's directly connected to the station, so it's easy to access and convenient! The coffee in the cafe was delicious, so I recommend it.

Designed for young people and cycling enthusiasts, the hotel embraces the "cycling lifestyle" theme, offering free bicycle rentals, a repair station, and the option to bring your own bike to your room. It seamlessly connects to the 180km Lake Kasumigaura loop. The spacious rooms feature modern styling with Japanese tatami elements and are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, and private bathrooms. Guests generally praise their cleanliness and comfort. The hotel's 24-hour café offers a relaxed atmosphere, featuring an industrial-style design and a large screen broadcasting live cycling events. Bringing your own food is welcome, adding to the casual atmosphere. While the service is friendly and attentive, breakfast is available for an additional fee and the selection is somewhat limited. It was a clean and stylish hotel. It was very convenient as it was close to the station. One thing was that there was a lack of explanation about the location of the parking lot, and they just told me to search online. I had searched online but couldn't find the entrance to the parking lot and got lost, so when I mentioned this at check-in, they didn't seem to mind very much. They just kept explaining about the hotel to me. What kind of training do they give their staff?

The transportation is convenient, it is right inside the station and can be seen directly after exiting the station. The room is clean and tidy, the decoration style is young and fashionable, there is a large seating area at the front desk, and the coffee is delicious.

Great location and great facility. The hotel is conveniently placed on top of the train station and it’s easy to reach by train from Tokyo. Many restaurant in the area. It’s very sports and activity oriented and has nice nature and cycle/running paths nearby, going around the lake shore. Enjoy your summer morning runs!

Located right in front of the ticket gate, in Hoshino, a room-only stay costs around 10,000 yen. The rooms are larger than those of nearby business hotels. There is no unitized bathroom. There is no typical free breakfast, but there is a convenience store, coffee shop, and restaurant that serves breakfast within the station. There is a slope inside the building, so be careful if you suffer from back pain. Also, the bed is too soft for those with back pain, so I probably won't be back next time.

I used to stay at XXINN, a chain of business hotels near the station, but I was put off by the lack of foreign cars allowed in the parking lot and the poor, repetitive free breakfast. The price (including parking) was almost the same, so I decided to stay here. I booked a universal room because I bring my walking stick. The room was very spacious - twice the size of XXINN, with a high ceiling and a feeling of even more spaciousness. Although the bathroom and toilet were shared, this was also twice as large, and breakfast options start from 500 yen. The hotel is right next to the ticket gates of the station, which is nice. However, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because although there are handrails in the bathtub, there is no anti-slip surface at the bottom, which I found dangerous.

The accommodation is inexpensive, directly connected to the station, and various foods can be purchased from the station building, making it a great environment for bicycle transportation. Of course, you won't have any trouble finding a place to have dinner. There is a delicious coffee shop in the lobby. And the various systems that are designed with cyclists in mind make it a very comfortable place for roadies. One thing I would like to see improved is that the lighting in the space where you can maintain your bicycle is too dim. Maintenance is not possible with just stylish incandescent downlights.

I was impressed by the high level of hospitality of all the staff, including those working behind the scenes. The hotel was quiet, the air conditioning was comfortable, and it was clean. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and comfortable. The shared space added a touch of excitement to the trip. Although I didn't use them, there were washing machines, drink vending machines, straw servers, and ice machines. There were also designated access routes to affiliated restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. It was just the best!
