This is the first time I stayed in this hotel. The location is very good and close to the Shinjuku JR Station, just 10 minutes walk.
I rented a car for this trip in Toyko from the Toyota Rent Car in which the car renting Shinjuku shop is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The staff of the hotel are very efficient and helpful. Check in and check out are quick and no need to wait. The room space of the hotel room is much bigger than the normal hotel rooms in Toyko.
This hotel is value for money and I shall chooae this hotel in next visit to Tokyo.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so friendly (and they all spoke English) and it really made our trip to Tokyo so much sweeter and enjoyable. It was very refreshing compared to the other hotel we stayed at. We were treated very much like VIPs all throughout our stay. Special mention to Yui, Fred and Alexis who helped us with everything from finding stores, spas, restaurants, transportation arrangements, etc. And was super enjoyable to talk to. They even have great extras like free gourmet coffee, free happy hour drinks, and free morning post hangover shots. Lol! I really like the set up of the room. Its a well thought out layout. It’s spacious and the bathroom layout is separated like a suite - like shower and separate room for the WC. So one doesn’t have to wait for the other and both can use with privacy at the same time. And I can open all the lights on this part of the room early morning and do my make up without bothering my room mate. And black out blinds are really black out. Beds really comfortable. Well done. Definitely recommend and come back again.

If you're looking for an affordable and good-quality place to stay, I highly recommend this hostel.
Although it's a hostel, it offers a surprisingly high level of privacy and ample space, so you won't feel cramped.
I arrived before the check-in time and the staff kindly allowed me to leave my luggage. Finding the place wasn't difficult, but it's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station. If you have heavy luggage, it might be tiring, but there are underground walkways and elevators available, so it's not too inconvenient.
I stayed here for 5 nights in a 6-bed female dorm. The room was clean and spacious enough to fit a 28” suitcase, and the beds were quite large. As a larger person, I found them very comfortable and didn't feel cramped at all (I slept on the bottom bunk).
The bathrooms were clean and had both showers and bathtubs. Liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryers were provided, so you don't need to pack them. If you don't want to bring your own towel, you can rent one from the hostel.
The kitchen is quite small but has a microwave, refrigerator, and sink. There weren't many dishes available, but I think you could ask the staff if you need more.
The laundry room has two coin-operated washing machines and two coin-operated dryers. I used them late at night, so I didn't have to wait in line. If you don't have any coins, you can exchange with the staff.
The common areas on each floor have plenty of seating for guests. There are also multiple power outlets available if you need to charge your devices.
There are Lawson and 7-11 convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient.
Cons (personal opinion):
- Unfortunately, on one of the nights I stayed, the fire alarm went off several times in the middle of the night. I think there was only one staff member on duty that night. The guests and I tried to find the cause of the alarm but couldn't find anything. When I asked the staff, he didn't know either. It might have been a malfunction of the system. Luckily, there wasn't actually a fire.
- If you're sleeping on the bottom bunk, even if the top bunk has curtains, the light still reflects off the wall, which can be disruptive to your sleep.

Due to the flight delay on the first day of check-in, it took a long time to find the location of the apartment at night. The map is very useful. In fact, the navigation is quite accurate. We also printed the route map provided by the landlord to save time. In the next few days, I found that the location was pretty good, with easy access, with stations and convenience stores everywhere, which was very convenient.

This hotel is not new but quite well maintained. Just 7-9 minutes walk to Shinjuku gyoen station and around 15 minutes to Shinjuku main St. Surrounded by night life area and some fastfood like Yoshinoya and Sukiya. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially mr Lorenso. The best things is they have a 25m2 room which you can’t find in Shinjuka area with the reasonable price loke this hotel.

The room that we had was really big and comfie. Unfortunately hotel has strict policy on number of pax. Need to book 2 room if there are 2 adult 2 kids. Not recommended if traveling with kids.. we didn’t use much of the service or amenities but room is clean !

It is a nice experience staying at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. My family enjoyed the convenience of the location. Most people turn to the left at the exit to walk to the mall near Wendy restaurant. By turning to the right, get you to the train station a stone throw away and also walk further up. You get to see Takashimaya Times Square, and there is Uniqlo and Tokyo, many other shops out there. Go check it out. Highly recommended location. The staff speak English too. Great experience. Last tip for you~ if you are travelling by train, try to purchase a Sucia card from iPhone Wallet. Just search for Travel, and u can select Sucia Card. U can add ¥5000 manually if u don't want to spend so much. Happy Travelling 😊

Getting there Getting to the hotel from narita airport, you can take the keisei skyliner to change at Nippori at the Yamamote line to change and stop at Takanobaba and change to another train Seibu Shinjuku station. It will be a few minutes walk to the hotel from there. Very convenient. To go back to the airport, book yourself an express bus directly at the lobby entrance (QR code is there) with a screen on the departure timing to various airports so you don’t have to lug your luggage. Stay Luxurious hotel right smack in the middle of all the action, eateries, shopping, etc. I stayed for 7 nights at the premier suite which I believe had one of the best views around this area. Room is spacious for Japanese standards. And the 2 toilets and 2 bath is something we really appreciate. Amenities are all given, and you have everything in the room, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Staff are friendly and eager to help during check in etc. I did not have much chance to interact with them since I also did not book one with breakfast. One tip is the enter the hotel through Starbucks directly downstairs, instead of going one round to enter the lobby. Just cut through Starbucks and go down the stairs immediately and make a left turn to the lobby. Afterthoughts Good and new hotel in an excellent location. Some things will need to be improved, out of the 7 nights, I only request for rooms to be cleared twice. The first time, housekeeping forgot to refill my towels after removing them, forgot to refill our drinking waters and even left a dirty tshirt in my toilet that don’t belong to me. I believe that could be used by them to clean the toilet, else no reasons someone’s dirty tshirt is found and left in my toilet. Should have definitely used a cleaner rag to clean up the toilet. I did not crate a fuss about it but just took the tshirt out of the room since it is a new hotel that just opened for one week and all staff are new too. But this should not happen next time again, especially since this is a suite booking. P/S check out Ichiran 3 mins walk away and the 24 hours Don Quixote too.

GGuest UserBespoke is overall a very good choice. It locates nearby the Nigashi-Shinjuku subway station (not JR station). There are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores around that area so you are surrounded by a variety of cuisine options. The triple room that I stay in is small but the bed is comfortable. Free breakfast is offered but only mini pastries, cereals and coffee are available. By the way, free bottles of water are placed at reception. Services are great and front desk speaks good English.

GGuest UserI admit, I was nervous about staying here, having read a lot of negative reviews, but I needn't have worried. The hostel was clean and quiet, in a great location (close to Shinjuku, with other stations nearby). As an introvert, I loved the self-service concept - I could check in, check out and get breakfast without having to wait for staff. Speaking of breakfast, for a free breakfast I was impressed - coffee, juice, toast, eggs and yoghurt. I found the bed really comfortable and spacious - I also appreciated having a shelf for smaller items. I found the other guests were generally quiet and respected quiet hours. I've noticed some reviews mentioning the rooms are untidy - there isn't really anywhere to store larger luggage, so it tends to get piled in any available space. Smaller luggage will fit in the bunk with you. Showers and toilets were far cleaner than I'd been led to expect from the reviews, and there were plenty of them. I liked how there were common areas for being social (kitchen and reception) and for when you wanted some quiet (coworking space and outside dorms). However, I found that sometimes the coworking would ”close” (staff would ask you to leave) without warning, so it was difficult to plan around when you could use the space and when you couldn't. If the coworking space is not going to be available during the stated hours, it would be nice to have some warning. But all in all, I would happily stay here again.

This hotel is located adjacent to a famous Japanese garden, and furthermore, within walking distance of the bustling downtown area, making its location truly wonderful. We were able to enjoy the serene tranquility of the garden in the morning and immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere of the downtown area at night. It was a convenient stay for sightseeing, allowing us to fully experience the charm of the local area!

小小mayIt’s hard to find a hotel with a higher price/performance ratio in Tokyo. The room also has a sauna room, the price is right, the quiet soundproofing effect is good, the front desk will not face the guests, and the privacy is very high.

Llee chinghuaIt's great. The front desk is enthusiastic and patient. The room space is planned to be comfortable and not crowded for 4 people. I can't bear to go out even if I stay in the room. It's worth having such a room type in Shinjuku. I will come back next time.

GGuest UserUnfortunately this is the worst place we have ever booked- it was very small, too small to put bags on 'bedroom' floor. Unsuitable for three, let alone the six people it suggests On the third floor with twisty, narrow stairs and no lift- difficult with baggage. The apartment was hot and stuffy with warning signs everywhere about the police being called if you are noisy and yet the walls were so thin we could hear the neighbours. Strongly recommend viewing in person before booking, we chose to forfeit our booking and not stay here despite understanding we would not get a refund
