We had a great stay at the hotel a great location . Would go back again if in Tokyo. As it’s the peak season so asking for an extra pillow was a challenge. We only got one after 3 days . But not a real issue. Mayb could get extra firm pillows for the guests they will appreciate that. Thanks for the pleasant gesture

Everything was good, check-in and check-out were smooth. The room was clean, comfortable and the layout design was very nic. The location is very close to Shibuya city and subway station.

Extremely convenient location! It takes less than 10 seconds to get to Parco, Humanmade, and LELABO from downstairs. Don Quijote is open 24 hours and just a few minutes' walk away. Omotesando is also reachable within a 10-15 minute walk. The SG Club, a highly-ranked cocktail bar, is also within walking distance. The room is small, but there's still enough space to open and unpack luggage. On the second floor, there's a shared space where you can bring food and drinks, as well as a coin-operated laundry room. I also booked a car to Haneda Airport through Ctrip for just over 300 yuan, which was very convenient.

Within a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Crossing, the breakfast selection isn't huge, but most of it is delicious. The room size is perfectly adequate, and it's kept very clean. The front desk staff all speak good English, and you can leave your luggage with them. I didn't get a chance to try the complimentary soba noodles in the evening or the Yakult at the public bath, but I'd definitely recommend this place to family staying in Shibuya in the future.

Great hotel located directly above Shibuya station which meant the location was very convenient. Even though I had booked the base room which was only 20 m², the room design meant that the room did not feel small at all and the room was a well laid out with a Japanese style toilet and seperate shower. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel, considering its location, price, customer service and room layout. The hotel staff at the front desk were very helpful and we’re even able to help us send our baggage to our next hotel and help us fill out the documentation in Japanese.

The room was a bit small; we could barely open two suitcases. It's located about 1 km from Shibuya Station. The surrounding area is a shopper's paradise with plenty of dining options, making it a great spot for a shopping trip. However, the hotel is on a slope, which made hauling luggage a bit tiring.

Location: In Maruyama-cho, Shibuya, just a stone's throw away from the bustling Shibuya station. Price: I booked during Golden Week, and you won't find another place to sleep in Shibuya for the same price. Bed: It's sized for Chinese guests, wider than traditional Japanese capsule hotels, and comes with a USB port and regular power outlets, so no worries about charging. The first picture shows the room size after removing the duvet cover. For just one night's sleep and a shower, this place is impeccable.

The location is perfect for many sites and the staff was amazing! They were supportive, knowledgeable, kind, and spoke great English. As the first place we stayed when we arrived in Japan they made us feel very welcome. For awareness, the space was small but it was more than enough for me and my full grown son. Just might be challenging for a family.

I stayed 10 days at Sequence Miyashita Park Tokyo and, as always, loved it — this hotel is my go‑to in Shibuya for its unbeatable location, stylish rooms, and warm hospitality. The staff made me feel at home throughout my stay, and waking up to views over the city was a highlight. One small suggestion: I had arranged a birthday cake delivery meant to surprise my boyfriend on the midnight after our check‑in day. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about the delivery amidst pre‑trip busyness, and I was only informed about it three days later. By then, the cake was no longer suitable for the celebration. While I understand this was partly my oversight, I'd suggest that the hotel team provide more prompt reminders or notifications about guest deliveries. This small improvement could make a big difference for special occasions. Overall, it was another wonderful experience, and Sequence Miyashita Park will remain my top choice whenever I’m in Tokyo.

I recently stayed at Granbell Hotel Shibuya. One of the biggest positives of this hotel is the room size. The room was surprisingly spacious, especially considering the location in Shibuya. The location itself is also very convenient and makes it easy to explore the area. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. When I raised an issue about the hair dryer in my room, they responded quickly and provided a clean replacement. However, there were some cleanliness concerns. The carpet in the room appeared to have visible stains and dirt, and the hair dryer provided in my room was extremely dusty to the point that it was uncomfortable to use. This was disappointing, as cleanliness is an important factor for many guests. The hotel provides small bottles of body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, which was a nice touch. Overall, if you prioritize a great location and a spacious room, Granbell Hotel Shibuya may be a good choice. However, if you are particularly sensitive to dust, dirt, and cleanliness issues, you may find the condition of the room disappointing.

Trunk(Hotel) Yoyogi Park

I highly recommend this hotel, primarily because the price is so far off from the level of detail and thoughtful amenities in the room. While the staff were quite helpful, the disparity between the room type and the price is far from justified. It's practically a high-end hostel. At NT$35,000 a night, it's incredibly disappointing and completely different from what the ********* media reports suggest. - Pros 1. The staff were very friendly and generally spoke fluent English, so communication was seamless. 2. Our room had two large balconies, facing the spacious and comfortable Mu Park, which were the only positives. Cons 1. The soundproofing was very poor. We were on the fourth floor, and we could hear almost any ambulance or truck in the morning. Plus, my partner has allergies, and facing the main road, we constantly had nasal allergies. 2. The room lacks any design features expected for a room of this price. The bathroom faucet sprays directly onto sleeping guests. There's no space near the basin for women to properly apply makeup or place toiletries. This is truly unacceptable, and perhaps simply shouldn't be considered appropriate for the price of this room. 3. The bathtub and hair dryer are awful. The tub can easily trigger the drain valve, making it difficult to lie down. The hair dryer, a Cado, is incredibly difficult to use. Furthermore, there's virtually no space for women's makeup and skincare products. It's truly terrible. Even male guests found it difficult to use. It's hard to imagine this is a Michelin-starred hotel. 4. The hotel, from the front desk to the rooms and pool, feels cramped. It truly feels like a high-end hostel catering to European and American tourists. - Although this is a favorite area of ours, I absolutely do not recommend staying here with friends. The service is completely disproportionate to the price. Our two-night stay didn't feel like a high-end hotel at all. For your reference only.

It was a pretty decent stay! The staff are really nice, security is pretty good for the female shared area. Bathroom and showers are really well maintained. The bed is really comfy and quite big. Breakfast is simple. It's quite abit of a walk from the subway station to the hotel. But it's okay without luggage haha

The room was tiny. The hotel is closer to the Keio Inokashira Line but quite far from the Yamanote Line. It takes at least 15 minutes to get to Shibuya Station. On the first day we arrived, we had to pull two large suitcases up a steep hill to reach the hotel. It was very inconvenient. I can’t imagine doing this while traveling with kids and carrying big luggage. The location is decent, with many restaurants nearby, but I also noticed a lot of clubs and love hotels in the area. Sometimes I saw drunk people standing on the street and talking loudly when I walked back at night. Just be cautious if you stay out late and return to the hotel. The soundproofing is really bad. You can hear a lot of noise from other guests. On the last night, someone in the room upstairs was moving around and packing their luggage all night. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise. In addition, the hallway is very narrow. You have to be careful when walking back to your room. My husband almost got hit when a child suddenly opened the door forcefully. The door opens directly into the hallway, which is a poor design choice. The only thing I liked was the washer and dryer in the room, which made it convenient to do laundry. All the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I personally don’t feel the stay was worth the price. I probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel or book it again.

I stayed on the 7th floor. The room was compact but very well-designed, featuring a clean, carpeted floor and an all-in-one bathroom unit. Complimentary coffee was available at the front desk in the mornings, and tea bags were provided in the room. Basic toiletries (like a dental kit and bath products) were stocked in the room, while additional amenities such as wet wipes, hair ties, and bath sponges could be picked up from the front desk – all of good quality. The front desk operates 24/7. The location is incredibly convenient!

I found the hotel quite easily. You can set your GPS to MEGA Don Quijote Shibuya, and then cross the street to Dogenzaka and you'll see the hotel's elevator. If you take the stairs, it leads to the back entrance (if you see stairs at the back, don't go up! There's a small passage next to the stairs that also leads to the elevator! You'll see Gong Cha, YG, and other beverage shops there). The hotel's location is super convenient. The elevator goes down to the first floor, which opens up to a large Don Quijote Shibuya store, so you don't have to brave the crowds across the street! It's just a bit of a walk from the subway station, which can be tough with luggage. Every day on the way back to the hotel, I'd pass the 'Stay with Me' intersection – it's really lively with lots of international visitors.

If you're planning to be out and about all the time, this hotel is perfect. 3-min walk to Shibuya station and major shopping destinations. The room is definitely a shoebox but if you're only looking for a clean place to rest after a long stroll in the city, this could be one of your options. Check-in process is seamless. Just be aware that the hotel doesn't accept credit card payments without the physical card - contactless from phone or smart watch is not possible. The hotel provides skin and hair care at the lobby that you can take anytime during your stay and they're great! They also provide water dispenser (both hot and cold temp) on each floor which is handy when you need to fill up your water bottle. Will definitely return!

Nice little hotel, but our room was extremely small and felt even tighter than a trailer. It only fit the bed, and once our suitcase was open, two adults couldn’t stand next to each other comfortably. The room did have a fridge, but there was no closet space.

A good hotel in the Shibuya area. Close to the center, metro, and shopping. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but we were satisfied with everything. The room has everything you need, including bathrobes and slippers. There was no vending machine for drinks or an onsen. Optimal for a short stay.

The room was okay and close to shopping, but there was no housekeeping. Imagine staying for 4-5 nights, waking up early and coming back late, with no one cleaning the room or changing the towels. You'd have to live like that until check-out. At the very least, housekeeping should come by daily to provide fresh towels.

The location is really good! very convenient and near subway station. A little small but for the price, it is perfect. The check-in needs to be done in advance if you don't want to have some delays getting in the room. There is no front desk, so the communication is through email. But that was also little fast. A lot of food options around and in the area. Cleanliness could be better.
