Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace Reviews

The hotel itself and its amenities are nice. The swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) look pretty good and the lobby is very clean and stylish. The bar at the swimming pool and on the first floor is pretty nice, cocktails were amazing although little pricey. However, the service was questionable. First of all, the restaurant on the first floor: waiting time for food - 1h(!), we had to go for lunch to nearby hotel (shoutout to Golden Tulip rooftop restaurant). Secondly, the staff forgot to put mini kits in our room (soap/lotion/razors/cotton pads/shower caps/etc). Thirdly, we went to the pool at 9:30am, there weren’t enough pool towels for 6 people. And lastly the room service was outrageously slow at night. Nobody picked the phone for 15 min. straight, we had to call the reception and guest service. After they took our order, it was another 45-50 minutes before our food came (it wasn’t much just tea and some cheese pie). Overall, the hotel is ok, but service needs improving. I visited a few Marriott hotels (participant of Marriott Bonvoy program), this one looks like Sheraton, but doesn’t feel like it.

Iam giving this 1 star as hotel did not have room service today. Went to bed hungry. Horrible excuse for hotel reason due to computer outage. Apparently hotel can’t take orders by hand as it’s against policy. Who knew computer system affects the chefs hands and ability to cook as well!

Amazing hotel had a great time here sauna and pool were superb thanks to the staff for everything!

located opposite Tbilisi's old town with great sunset views, the Sheraton offers modern rooms with comfortable beds and an incredible pool and spa area, for indoor and outdoor relaxation. 

The location is good.  It is in the old district. By 10 minutes walk, you can go to a main metro station.  The breakfast is good and the room is spacious.

Great staff and facilities in a good location near to the city center. No complaints whatsoever.

Perfect hotel

The location is a bit remote, but the view is great and the room is a bit small.

The business trip plan changed, so I stayed another night. The hotel I chose was good value for money, clean and tidy, and gave me a very comfortable feeling. It was a great experience to come on a business trip. I will come again if I have the chance in the future!

Very good, rich breakfast, good service attitude. The room is quiet

The room was filled with cooking fumes from 6am every morning, another wave at 11am, and the last wave at around 5 or 6pm. I am allergic to cooking fumes and was woken up by them every morning. The room service was very inefficient. It took an hour to get a pillow or a bottle of water, and I had to call to urge them... Later I just bought water at the convenience store. It was so much trouble!
