Great location just nearby the lake. The room is quite clean but getting a little aged. The hotel could do with a little refitting to justify their prices.

Unbeatable Location & Excellent Stay This hotel has an unbeatable location—right next to the lake in the heart of the French Quarter, just steps away from all the major attractions. I stayed in a room for two people, which was surprisingly spacious. Despite the bustling streets outside, the soundproofing was excellent, and I didn’t hear any noise inside. The room was impeccably clean and filled with great natural light. However, the highlight of my stay was the outstanding service, especially from Hanna at the reception. Her English is excellent, and she was always ready to assist with any needs or questions. If I return to Hanoi, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

I chose this Hotel because of the location which is very near or facing Hoan Kiem Lake. Unfortunately upon arrival at the hotel (which we waited for 30minutes as front desk is not on her position) the front desk informed us that the guest occupying the room where I booked is at the hospital due to medical emergency, which i think is a scam because i backread all reviews on this hotel and they're telling the same "excuse" which really pissed me off. They "endorsed" us to their sister hotel which is in a courtyard. Also instead of booking taxi to pick us up on the original hotel, the staff just let us walk with our luggage!!!! So much hassle!!! I was about to cancel the reservation but there's no available hotels near hoan kiem lake that day so we just decided to stay. The room is spacious and clean. Good thing their breakfast is delicious else we will really ask for refund. However the location of the hotel is in the courtyard, so whenever we book for grab pickup or when the tour guide will pick us up. We have to walk 200-400meters just for the meetup. We also often cancel grab pickup due to location issues. Advice: Make sure to contact the hotel first and have assurance on the hotel location you will be assigned to before booking. Else you will experience the same fate as ours.

I couldnt live in this hotel as they had no room because of some medical accident with a guest. They tried to fix this problem providing me another hotel. New room in another hotel neardby was on the 1st floor and had no window. The girl employee was nice fixing that but experience wasnt nice. Hope other guests wont face this problem.
