CHYUAN DU SPRING RESORT

Beitou Hot Spring Area
”Our stay at CHYUAN DU SPRING RESORT was convenient, but we encountered some issues. Despite selecting the option to pay at the hotel, we were only able to pay by card, which was not what we expected. Additionally, we couldn’t use our accommodations voucher of Taiwan, The Lucky Land campaign, when booking through Trip.com. While the hotel itself is outdated, the location was still convenient for our needs.”
Beitou Resort Metro Inn

Spacious apartment-like Executive Suite. Free snacks and water in room. Breakfast is very simple. Adjacent sports complex offers self-pay billiards, table tennis, badminton, swimming, and basketball. Need to bring own swimming cap. One adjacent restaurant which offers lunch and dinner. Cross bridge to Metro station which is about a 7-8 minute walk. Seems like a staycation get-away or function/event hotel for locals as there is not much to see around the area.

Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel

Taipei Railway Station Area
The same excellent service and hospitality as the first time I was here in the late 80s when it was still the iconic Lai Lai Sheraton. Thank you for going the extra mile to make my wife’s birthday memorable with the extra arrangements. Special mention goes to Ellen and the front desk team for taking great care of us.
Roaders Hotel Zhonghua

Ximending Commercial Area
Fairly easy walk from airport main train line though was very hot on my day of arrival, but all flat Check in fine and staff fine thought the basket ball game near the desk is rather loud and can make comms a challenge Room very compact and has no window I knew this when selecting I'd suggest there's no view anyway clean and functional Wasn't serviced the 4 days I stayed but swapped towels and empty bin with housekeeping Bed fine as were towels and wifi Little bit noisy esp the inane corridor music Gym room opens at 9am (!) And is really just a room with 3 machines and no air-conditioning or free weights I think the highlight is the ample free snacks and beverages in the basement foyer, noting they have sandwedges at 7am but they go very quickly - I only found out the day of check out at 645am There's a lovely western bakery Cafe near by called Heritage Heaps of food around esp for meat eaters , hello kitty themed 7/11 and *** bars Wouldn't return as there seemed lots of competition in the area
Hotel Relax II
4.3/5196 Reviews
Taipei Railway Station Area
The location is excellent—near the main station and in a lively area with plenty of convenience stores and a Cosmed drugstore nearby. The room is spacious for two people, featuring a dining table, fridge, makeup mirror, and plenty of power outlets. The sleek and modern bathroom includes a bidet and a bathtub, with an electric control to lower the curtain for added privacy. However, the bathroom door is slightly elevated from the floor, so you’ll need to watch your step. While the water runs well, the hot water can get too hot and is a bit tricky to control. The check-in process requires a 1,000 NTD deposit, which must be paid by card as they don’t accept cash. Overall, it’s a great choice if you enjoy staying close to a major station in a vibrant neighborhood.
