The courtyard is in the best location by the Taihu Lake, overlooking the Taihu Lake without any obstruction. The flowers, grass and trees in the courtyard reveal the elegance and beauty of Jiangnan. The courtyard is larger than ordinary Jiangnan courtyards and is particularly quiet. During the few days we stayed there, we didn't see a single guest except the staff. Strolling in the courtyard is simply refreshing and feels like being in a world away from home. The room is decorated in an antique style, with all mahogany furniture and relatively new utensils!
