"I specifically came for the award-winning architectural design. The ambiance is incredibly peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The service was also exceptionally thoughtful. My room received an upgrade, and as a solo traveler, the helpful staff member even enthusiastically assisted me with taking some fantastic photos and provided convenient round-trip transfers. Overall, it's excellent 👍 and absolutely worth experiencing!"

"The environment of the hotel is very good, the air is very fresh, there are flowers and birds, and there are fish in the lake. This time, my friend and I stayed in the main building standard room, which is the mahogany style I personally like. The room is more Chinese style, clean and tidy. The breakfast is also very rich, with both Chinese and Western pastries, and homemade grain drinks, which is very healthy. The waiter service is also very good, and will take the initiative to ask about needs. It feels great this time, and I will come again when the weather is warmer!"

"Located near the Shushan Ecological Trail, this pet-friendly hotel offers a pleasant environment with individual villa-style accommodations. The property is quite sprawling, so buggies are needed to get around, and staff are prompt in arranging them. It's too hot in summer, otherwise, strolling around would be very enjoyable. The inner lake is filled with lotus flowers, and there's lush greenery everywhere. There were two downsides. First, the nuisance of mosquitoes in summer. We couldn't find an electronic mosquito repellent in the room, and our child got bitten in the middle of the night, so we had to ask staff to bring one. Second, the hotel's pool changing rooms were quite dirty. They weren't cleaned frequently enough, bathroom towels weren't replenished in time, and the floor was covered in hair and water, which was very unpleasant. We hope for improvement."

"Hot spring pools didn't vary much, and occupied what seems to be a small area, which worked to our advantage because we stayed when the wearther was 1-2degC. Restaurant offered fair-priced dinner options, breakfast spread was fair as well. Not much happening in the surrounding area, until one takes the tourist shuttle (or the ebikes for rent parked around the area) where folks can check out other quaint village/farm cafes and restaurants."

"The homestay is located on the Xishan Island of Taihu Lake, with beautiful scenery, complete facilities, clean and hygienic, and entertainment equipment. The small yard is lush and happy. I also booked a dinner at the boss, and the price is affordable. Due to time reasons, there are still several attractions that have not checked in, and I will book this one next time. I especially recommend the Dongtingshan Biluo Spring Tea from the boss's house. Watching the boss hand-fried it, the fragrance is full of the house, and the taste is very good!"

"The room overlooked the garden, and the balcony was spacious. However, the hot water temperature in the shower was uneven, possibly due to a pipe issue. There was no bathtub. The hotel service was unprofessional; the staff seemed untrained, both in appearance and demeanor. However, after observing the management, the problem became clear. The food was poor. Breakfast was mediocre, and lunch and dinner only offered set menus with limited à la carte options, making it poor value for money. Being in the same garden as the Banyan Tree, it didn't align with the brand's image. However, one waiter who prepared tablecloths for the restaurant left a strong impression. He greeted my husband and me several times while we were walking at night, standing aside to let us pass. This left a very good impression, and his attentiveness deserves praise."

"We had a wonderful 2 nights in this family-run hotel. The host was extremely kind, friendly and helpful; he made us feel completely at home, and even gave us two delicious homemade ‘lard cakes’ to take with us because we’d enjoyed them so much at breakfast one morning! The rooms are lovely - spacious, very light, bright and private. Really nice interior design. Ours was on the top floor with a roof top deck and great views over the lake and village. The bed was very comfortable with fresh, clean linen and towels. There’s a kettle on the room but you need to bring your own tea or coffee. That said, tea and hot water were available 24-hours a day downstairs. The meals in the hotel restaurant were delicious and fresh; they’re cooked onsite with ingredients that are caught or grown on the island, and are very good value. We ate breakfast (included) both mornings and dinner on our first night. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again if we came back. The main thing to note is that the host (and very few people on the island) speak English, so having some Chinese definitely helps! But we felt very welcome at all times, even when our language skills reached their limits!"

"Facilities: convenient parking, and a large screen to see Su Chao. Hygienic: The room is very clean, the bathroom has a faint fragrance, and the basin toilet is very clean. Environment: very quiet and elegant yard, fresh air, clear river next to it, beautiful lotus on the water, you can directly see many birds and fish. Service: The proprietress is very enthusiastic and has determined the details several times in advance. Encountered problems are solved very carefully and quickly. I will choose here next time."
