"Our stay started pleasantly with a polite welcome at the entrance! It was fun to be able to choose our favorite kimono design! In-room dining was not available as advance notice was required, but the dinner venue was very clean and modern. There were some older game consoles installed, and we were able to play on them, something we hadn't seen in a while. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with an ocean view, and the sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. Best of all, we could hear the sound of the ocean all the time, which was very relaxing. The most impressive thing about this inn was the food. The sashimi was delicious, and the selection was plentiful, so we were very satisfied! The morning buffet offered both Japanese and Western dishes, and the desserts were delicious! The beach was right next to the inn, so we enjoyed ourselves even when we were tired! The staff were also very polite, and it was an inn that we truly wanted to stay at again!"

"Like the unique concept as a hotel. Enjoyed it very much. Especially the hairdryer. I must say every bit is very well thought out for creature comforts. The room is very spacious by Japanese standard. The room is equipped with a onsen/jacuzzi and provided with different salts. There is a self-help beverage bar with free beer and liquor. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend anybody to experience this resort-like hotel"

"The waiter at the door was warm and thoughtful. Since there was no crosswalk at the door, every time a guest entered or exited, he carefully observed the traffic on the road for the guest, and only let the guest pass after ensuring safety. Japanese service is indeed outstanding. The only drawback is that all meals in the hotel must be reserved. Even if you are willing to wait, you can't eat. All the restaurants nearby are like this, which is a bit unaccustomed. I could only get some food at the convenience store that night😅😅"

"温泉宿を決めるときに食事と景色と温泉の質で選んでいます。期待しているところは、特に食事ですかね。 食事は人それぞれ好みがありますが、今回は期待ハズレですかね。最後の締めの淡路ぬーどるっは食べれなかったです。海鮮が多いのでお肉を楽しみたい人には微妙です。 ロケーションはよかったです。温泉も3ヶ所行けて全部良かったです。うっとりするくらい景色には魅了しました。 食事の部屋も綺麗な景色がみれてのんびりできました。 お部屋は小さくコンパクトな感じですが、清潔感あって良かったです。広い部屋は広い部屋なりにコストはかかるのかなと思いました。家族風呂や貸切温泉などあるので、人と関わりたくない方にはいいと思います。 ラウンジバーみたいなのもあったり、カフェ施設もあってありました。ニュー淡路グループの違うとこでまた泊まれたらなと思います。"

"メイン通りから少し入った住宅街にあるので静かですし、少し歩けば食事する所も沢山あり、立地が良かったです。施設は綺麗にリノベーションされていて、ホテルよりも広くて居心地良く過ごせました。 ただ…チェックインの仕方が分からなさすぎました。 宿泊当日の朝に、メールで「駐車場の場所、着いたら電話するよう」連絡先が届きました。駐車場の利用はないこと、着いたら電話します、と返信しましたが、それに対する返事はありませんでした。そして、宿に到着して、教えられた連絡先に電話しましたが、コールはするものの誰も出ず…を何度も繰り返すこと20分以上。予約表に記載された予約サイトに電話するも、私が予約したのとは違うサイトに繋がり、分からないと言われ…。仕方ないので、宿の隣のお店の方に助けを求めて、ようやく宿の方が来てくれました。チェックインするのにすごく疲れました。"

"Title: A heartwarming, authentic Japanese home experience! Review:Although this guesthouse is a bit remote from the Sumoto Bus Center, the experience was absolutely worth it. The owner is an 84-year-old lady who provided us with incredible service. Even though she has some trouble walking, her passion for hosting is truly touching. The room was extremely large for two people—very comfortable. Unlike some other hotels, all amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and towels were provided. What surprised us most was her generosity; she kindly offered us a free dinner even though we hadn't ordered a meal plan. Despite the language barrier, we communicated easily using Google Translate. She insisted on cleaning the room and changing the sheets (bed covers) every single day. We tried to tell her she didn't need to go to such trouble for us, but she insisted. It really felt like staying in a warm Japanese home. Highly recommended if you want genuine hospitality!"

"This was my first time staying at Shimahana, and I was impressed by the quality of the New Awaji Group's service. I was able to fish at Yume Senkei and caught two sea bream, which they cooked and served for dinner that night, and it was delicious. The rest was neatly prepared and we were able to take home. Shimahana is located a little way off the coast, but they provided transportation to and from the hot springs, so we were able to enjoy it without any problems. I would like to stay here again"
