Comments from a frequent traveler on this hotel: Pros: 1. The view is really amazing, and the design of the thatched house is also quite unique, with a small yard in each room! Not to mention the view in the hotel yard, the plants are particularly linear, and the orange 🍊 trees are very original! Next to the reef beach 2. Many movie shooting locations, Korean 🇰🇷 locals stay more often, indicating good local recognition 3. The service attitude is very good, whether it is the Korean lady at the front desk or the uncles and aunts working in the yard are very enthusiastic 4. The room is very clean and the bedding is also OK 5. The hotel is in a good location, the bus stop is right at the door of the hotel, it is convenient to go anywhere, turn left and go up the slope to the cliff bar, and go up another slope to the Teddy Museum and Starbucks Coffee Disadvantages: 1. The room is not very big (I booked a single room), especially the bathroom basin has no place to put toiletries 2. There is no airport ✈️ shuttle bus, you need to take a taxi or bus by yourself 3. There is no English or Chinese customer service, and communication is a bit difficult If you want to blow the wind, be in a daze, and take a walk in the hotel, I especially recommend it, because it really feels like a holiday. If you want to swim or other noisy activities, then choose other!

Compare to whole hotels let I stay in this journey, This Hotel is the best one. Even compare to the same level hotel Grand Hyatt Jeju, Parnas Hotel Jeju still the best one. Specially the service, they have extremely clear introduction about the hotel when you check-in, even you're a foreigner, they still try their best to let you understand. And every staff which in hotel is friendly. Amazing View, greatest service, and comfortable room. Is the best choice to stay in here when you want a relaxing holiday. The only problem is that there will still be a little noise in the rooms, the soundproofing is not the best.

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights. Wished we had more time to enjoy the resort. The staff were excellent. Excellent service too. The swimming pool was the highlight. The pool was heated and there were singers to serenade the swimmers. We will definitely be back. Really lovely hotel.

The apartment is very near to the theme park and provides free theme park admission. However, we need to drive out to get to the other attractions. Convenience store is nearby and the sauna and indoor swimming pool is a plus especially during cold weather. The apartment area does not seem to be solely owned by the hotel organisation. Therefore, there may be a mix of residents and tourists.

The hotel location, facilities, and outdoor landscaping are fantastic. The breakfast buffet was high quality (with a high price to match); The rooms are comfortable though nothing to rave about. Two areas for improvement: 1. The hotel service is not catered towards foreigners; The front desk and kids island staff, as well as information pamphlet are limited mainly to Korea. The check in counter knew I had two young children with me, but did not mention that we had to pre-book / reserve activities with the kids island. By the time I found out, everything was full and my children could not participate in anything. 2. The hotel pool has a safety policy where children under 1.3M need an adult to accompany them, and if under 1.2M need to wear a life vest. This doesn't make sense for parents (to accompany them) or children who can already swim.

I chose to stay at JW Marriott Jeju Island during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself has a strong sense of design, and many artworks are designed by Bill Bensley. The overall style has both the wild luxury vacation feeling of Southeast Asia and the texture of details, which has never disappointed me. The room amenities are very good, with Bulgari's toiletries, Dyson hair dryers, and ice makers in the room. Every detail enhances the comfort level. Breakfast is a highlight. The brunch content is quite rich, with a wide variety of dishes and sufficient portions. You can feel the hotel's dedication to catering. I especially recommend the hotel's Korean omakase, which is completely beyond my expectations. Not only is the taste excellent, but the plating and presentation are also very sophisticated. Each dish continues the Korean people's consistent aesthetics, and the visual and taste experience are very complete. In fact, it was a small surprise to be able to eat omakase this time-we wanted to book it on the way to the hotel that day. Fortunately, Jessica helped us. After learning that we were guests staying in the hotel, she helped us coordinate the last two seats, which was really icing on the cake. Of course, the most noteworthy thing about this stay is a Chinese employee named Alesha. She helped us a lot throughout the trip. When we checked in, she patiently introduced the hotel's facilities and highlights to us, and was very professional about the details of the hotel. Since we booked a two-meal package, but we checked in late, Alesha also helped us plan how to maximize the hotel's dining and facilities. It was really detailed and thoughtful! When we ordered room service at night, we were not familiar with the English on the menu, which led to a period of time when we were unable to place an order smoothly. Although Alesha had already left work, she still enthusiastically helped us solve the problem. At breakfast the next day, we had some communication problems with the restaurant staff, and Alesha happened to see it and took the initiative to assist, making the whole process much smoother. The overall experience was good, although due to the large flow of customers, there were still some details that were not good enough, such as the bruch on the last day was delayed, and the pre-drink ordered at the beverage bar was not ready for half an hour. But overall it was very good, all the employees were very nice, professional and polite, and it was truly what a high-end hotel under Marriott should be like. Thanks to Alesha and Jessica, especially Alesha! Without her help, our holiday experience would definitely not be so good! I hope to have the opportunity to come again in the future~

The staff are friendly and professional when we need assistance. The room is very clean and bright, comfortable bed and pillows! Convenient locate to restaurants 、shops, waterpark(was good but towels not provided, bring your own or purchase at entry) and theme park (quite small). Free parking and Wi-Fi provided. BUT when the China and Taiwan tours arrived the vibe changed to feeling like we were immersed in a tour hotel in China. Housekeeping found it a challenge to replenish our amenities after the influx of the groups it seems they must have been overworked or understaffed - forgetting to replace old towels and remove our garbage and 3 consecutive days it happened during what was a 8 night booking we checked out early and went elsewhere the last 2 nights. The tours groups seemed to be most interested in the casino in the Marriott. Of the 3 properties, this was the most peaceful - Shinhwa Hotel is STRICTLY for families with young kids in my opinion, Marriott not worth the extra (they include the pool $ in the price but if you don't swim or weather not good you have paid for it OR unless you want Marriott Points or interested in the Casino right below you and a lot of adult guests roaming around at late hours. We had the connecting room deal (KLOOK or Hotel direct booking only deal) - very good value.

Shinhwa Hotel and Resort is located conveniently to Shinhwa Water Park, the largest water park in Jeju. Relax in style while enjoying the gorgeous view at the Sky Pool. The resort features a total of 308 rooms including the 27㎡ Superior rooms, the 38㎡ Deluxe rooms, and the spacious 54㎡ Junior Suites overlooking the breath-taking Jeju horizon. Check-In/Out Check-In 3:00 PM l Check-Out 12:00 PM…. but perhaps there were something i need to suggest to the management or governance who manage the place in reality and genuine feedback from tourist who had his first visit to JEJU island, stayed in Shinhwa resort whereas not as other resort that sititng adjacent to the coast and beaches, instead the attraction were merely basis on the facilities and assest of the hotel such as Theme park, Water world and Skypools, top 3 marketing gimmicks of Shinhwa resort...inspite of the venue is licensed with CASINO business for adult who fond to it. 1: the house keeping; make up room time after 15:00 has contrary with the 11:00 check out time that has acquire guest to leave the room which was not very pleasant experience we had, walking along the corridor finding very untidy trolley and uncleaned towels lying on the floor in mess which was a very stunning views when after we walked out from the lift. 2: Lost and found procedure was either a non flexible approach, imagine i had to travel 180 minutes from AIRPORT to the hotel just to collect my lost found wallet, instead the hotel could have just call a taxi to send my wallet closeby to AIRPORT. It could had saved me 180 minutes and Korean W 35,000! Any thought?

Our second stay and I would love to return again It's basically a honeymoon / baby hotel. Many young couples and families with children under 10. Very calm and peaceful. Clean, nice, heated pool. Breakfast could be better, we opted out, but it's still convenient. The sauna is absolutely wonderful, I really healed my body and soul there. As for the room type, the last year we stayed in a standard view room. You have to know that there is NO view. It was a ground floor room with all the consequences. We didn't use the balcony at all. This year we chose garden view but got upgraded to a poolside view. The poolside view honestly made the stay. Choose poolside or at least garden view if you can. Try to stay away from standard view. There's also this hill suite building, we'll probably try and book a room there next year but we couldn't quite figure out how to use the spa. It wasn't clear if the building has its own spa or some overpass or underpass, or you'd have to walk across the road to the main building. The beach is 5 minutes away by car and around 30 on foot. There's surfing lessons and surf rentals there, you can rent a chair, an umbrella, a sunbed and a tube. Also, if you're thinking Lotte because of the closeness to the beach, note that the pedestrian walk to the beach is awful from there. It's 5-10 minutes of stairs.
