I attended a conference here and brought my family. We arrived hours before we could check into the hotel. So we had time to explore the hotel and the surroundings. We love the fact that there are so many shops, restaurants as well as casino and cinema attached to the Marriott. There are 2 theme parks also attached to the site. Guests could enjoy 3 free rides as a bonus. We got to try out quite a number of eating places including the ramen library and did quite a bit of shopping as well. One evening we ordered room service. We had the beef galbi and the ginseng chicken soup with sticky rice. That was delish! For those who want to sightsee there is Osulloc tea museum next door.

The neighborhood is very nice, very quiet, the rooms are spacious, the beach is across the street, there is a large bar, and there is a DJ playing music at night. The room is not cleaned every day, you need to clean up and throw away the garbage yourself. The waiter just threw the towels and bath towels on the floor at the door every day and left! We stayed at the resort for 3 nights. Wished we had more time to enjoy the resort. The staff were excellent. Excellent service too. The swimming pool was the highlight. The pool was heated and there were singers to serenade the swimmers. We will definitely be back. Really lovely hotel.

Room are clean and modern. Lots of privacy Due to it is Service Apartment style, 1- you need to sort out your trash and bring it to the bin ( Fine will be imposed if is not sorted or clear out ) 2- you need to wash up your dish and put in back in cupboard before you check out. You need to go over to Marriott hotel if you wanna swim.....not within the compound. There are free parking lot, open and spacious, so if you drive in Jeju is great. Shin Hwa Marriot Casino and hotel is a 3-5 min drive away. Shopping and bowling arcade with lots of eatery in the mall area.

We had to change the room for three times due to facilities of misleading in a description of website and bug issue. However, they tried to provide their best cinfirtibg service to customers possible as much as they could. Once we changed tgectoon three times, they kept cleaning morning and late afternoon twice before we finally checked out the date.

I chose to stay at JW Marriott Jeju Island during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself has a strong sense of design, and many artworks are designed by Bill Bensley. The overall style has both the wild luxury vacation feeling of Southeast Asia and the texture of details, which has never disappointed me. The room amenities are very good, with Bulgari's toiletries, Dyson hair dryers, and ice makers in the room. Every detail enhances the comfort level. Breakfast is a highlight. The brunch content is quite rich, with a wide variety of dishes and sufficient portions. You can feel the hotel's dedication to catering. I especially recommend the hotel's Korean omakase, which is completely beyond my expectations. Not only is the taste excellent, but the plating and presentation are also very sophisticated. Each dish continues the Korean people's consistent aesthetics, and the visual and taste experience are very complete. In fact, it was a small surprise to be able to eat omakase this time-we wanted to book it on the way to the hotel that day. Fortunately, Jessica helped us. After learning that we were guests staying in the hotel, she helped us coordinate the last two seats, which was really icing on the cake. Of course, the most noteworthy thing about this stay is a Chinese employee named Alesha. She helped us a lot throughout the trip. When we checked in, she patiently introduced the hotel's facilities and highlights to us, and was very professional about the details of the hotel. Since we booked a two-meal package, but we checked in late, Alesha also helped us plan how to maximize the hotel's dining and facilities. It was really detailed and thoughtful! When we ordered room service at night, we were not familiar with the English on the menu, which led to a period of time when we were unable to place an order smoothly. Although Alesha had already left work, she still enthusiastically helped us solve the problem. At breakfast the next day, we had some communication problems with the restaurant staff, and Alesha happened to see it and took the initiative to assist, making the whole process much smoother. The overall experience was good, although due to the large flow of customers, there were still some details that were not good enough, such as the bruch on the last day was delayed, and the pre-drink ordered at the beverage bar was not ready for half an hour. But overall it was very good, all the employees were very nice, professional and polite, and it was truly what a high-end hotel under Marriott should be like. Thanks to Alesha and Jessica, especially Alesha! Without her help, our holiday experience would definitely not be so good! I hope to have the opportunity to come again in the future~

Great experience overall, as you would expect from a decent hotel. The staff speaks English, but only enough to help you with hotel related things. I think this place is more for Koreans traveling within Korea because there was no going above and beyond. Like nothing tourist related questions/assistance. Maybe it was the language or the culture or maybe I’m just used to something else. But clean, and professional service.

Shinhwa Hotel and Resort is located conveniently to Shinhwa Water Park, the largest water park in Jeju. Relax in style while enjoying the gorgeous view at the Sky Pool. The resort features a total of 308 rooms including the 27㎡ Superior rooms, the 38㎡ Deluxe rooms, and the spacious 54㎡ Junior Suites overlooking the breath-taking Jeju horizon. Check-In/Out Check-In 3:00 PM l Check-Out 12:00 PM…. but perhaps there were something i need to suggest to the management or governance who manage the place in reality and genuine feedback from tourist who had his first visit to JEJU island, stayed in Shinhwa resort whereas not as other resort that sititng adjacent to the coast and beaches, instead the attraction were merely basis on the facilities and assest of the hotel such as Theme park, Water world and Skypools, top 3 marketing gimmicks of Shinhwa resort...inspite of the venue is licensed with CASINO business for adult who fond to it. 1: the house keeping; make up room time after 15:00 has contrary with the 11:00 check out time that has acquire guest to leave the room which was not very pleasant experience we had, walking along the corridor finding very untidy trolley and uncleaned towels lying on the floor in mess which was a very stunning views when after we walked out from the lift. 2: Lost and found procedure was either a non flexible approach, imagine i had to travel 180 minutes from AIRPORT to the hotel just to collect my lost found wallet, instead the hotel could have just call a taxi to send my wallet closeby to AIRPORT. It could had saved me 180 minutes and Korean W 35,000! Any thought?

Our second stay and I would love to return again It's basically a honeymoon / baby hotel. Many young couples and families with children under 10. Very calm and peaceful. Clean, nice, heated pool. Breakfast could be better, we opted out, but it's still convenient. The sauna is absolutely wonderful, I really healed my body and soul there. As for the room type, the last year we stayed in a standard view room. You have to know that there is NO view. It was a ground floor room with all the consequences. We didn't use the balcony at all. This year we chose garden view but got upgraded to a poolside view. The poolside view honestly made the stay. Choose poolside or at least garden view if you can. Try to stay away from standard view. There's also this hill suite building, we'll probably try and book a room there next year but we couldn't quite figure out how to use the spa. It wasn't clear if the building has its own spa or some overpass or underpass, or you'd have to walk across the road to the main building. The beach is 5 minutes away by car and around 30 on foot. There's surfing lessons and surf rentals there, you can rent a chair, an umbrella, a sunbed and a tube. Also, if you're thinking Lotte because of the closeness to the beach, note that the pedestrian walk to the beach is awful from there. It's 5-10 minutes of stairs.
