My stay here was absolutely fantastic, definitely five stars! I was especially impressed by the bedding – the mattress was just right, not too soft, not too firm, and the sheets and duvet covers were skin-friendly, clean, and odorless. The pillows were fluffy and supportive, making for an incredibly comfortable sleep that completely erased all my travel fatigue. The hotel's service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. From check-in to any daily requests, all the staff were enthusiastic, patient, and responded promptly, showing great attention to detail. The room itself was clean and airy with excellent facilities, making for a very comfortable stay. Plus, the location is superb; it’s close to attractions and super convenient for shopping and tax refunds. My overall experience was top-notch, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and will definitely be staying here again!

My favorite hotel I've stayed in recently. The room is very exquisitely decorated and tasteful, and the overall color tone is very comfortable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. I was impressed by the floor of the shower room. It was like stepping on the rocks by the sea. Although it was a bit rough, it was very non-slip and made you feel like you were at the beach in a second. Our family of four booked two rooms. The hotel was very considerate to connect the two rooms together, which made it very convenient for us to use.
The location is also very good, walking distance to Casa Batlló, and shopping is also very convenient. The bakery across the street and the brunch at the restaurant across the road are very delicious.

Everything about this hotel is pure 5 stars luxury. We got 2 connecting rooms for a family of 4, and this layout of the rooms are perfect for our stay. Location is on the high end shopping belt of the city. Feels very secure. The concierge and receptionists at the hotel are wonderful at making you feel welcome, super professional. A little nick-pick would be the rooftop bar restaurant, we wish the standard of the food could be better. We had a dinner there on our first day, and we are not blown away by the quality of the food and it took really long for them to serve even though it isn’t quite busy. That was the reason why we didn’t feel comfortable going ahead with the breakfast and the 3-Star Michelin restaurant in the same hotel. 🙏

3-4 nights in Barcelona city. The location of this hotel couldn't be better! It's within walking distance to everything. Very good. The hygiene is very good. The breakfast is very comfortable. The service attitude is also very good. 👍 We landed in the morning and the hotel happened to have vacancies, so we checked in early.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, from the greeter at the door, front desk staff, and lobby manager to the restaurant and bar, and room service, every single staff member greeted me with a smile and offered warm, attentive service. This truly showcased the quality of an established five-star hotel. While the furniture, bathroom facilities, and amenities in the room were indeed a bit dated, which is common in many older European hotels, the professional, warm, and thoughtful service completely made up for these shortcomings. The breakfast, once rated as the best in Europe, certainly lived up to its reputation. The rooftop bar offers a fantastic view of the Sagrada Familia. The hotel's location is superb, right in the middle of Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by various restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. The room was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. Facing away from the main street, it was incredibly quiet, and it even had a universal adapter. This is definitely one of the best choices for a trip to Barcelona.

Wangziyu999The InterContinental Barcelona provided an excellent overall experience. Its convenient location made getting around and visiting attractions very easy. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, good soundproofing, and plenty of natural light. The service was professional and attentive; both the concierge and front desk staff were responsive and paid attention to details. Breakfast offered a rich selection and consistent quality. The rooftop terrace had a superb view, perfect for enjoying cityscapes and relaxing with a drink. The hotel's public areas were grandly designed, and the cleanliness and maintenance lived up to InterContinental standards. It's suitable for both leisure and business stays, and I would highly recommend it.

Guest UserStayed in the suite on the top floor of the hotel, the room was small, but there were actually two small terraces! One was used to enjoy a hot bath and the other was suitable for sun. The staff was very friendly but did not experience the hotel breakfast.

I was able to check in right at noon since a room was available, which was great because I didn't have to wait until 3 PM. Check-out was quick too. The hotel has a beautiful pool and a very stylish pink hallway. It's right by the sea, and the architectural details are full of clever design.

Good location, close enough to the sagrada familia. Quiet at night.
However, compared to other 5-star hotels, this hotel has a very small lobby and crude elevators that don’t match a 5-star rating. Hardware-wise, it’s probably 4-star at best.
Service - Concierge staff was polite upon check in, but the display of hospitality stopped there. Thereafter, door men at the gate didn’t greet or even acknowledge guests upon leaving or returning to the hotel. Considering the hotel lobby was so small that guests literally passed by in front of them, it came across as quite indifferent and awkward.
Amenities - There were intermittent sounds of water dripping onto a metal surface in my room during my stay. My guess is the air con system had some flaws. I asked the concierge to send people to check when I was outside (which they did), but there was no follow up afterwards and the dripping sound remained the second night. Besides, the staff who entered my room for checking took away my room card from the electricity holder, which should have never been allowed for safety considerations because the room card was registered under my name and no other person should have it during my stay.

The W Hotel boasts the best location on Barcelona beach. I recommend booking a high-floor room if possible; the sunrise views in the morning are absolutely stunning. After checking in, I suggest heading straight to the beach. The hotel has its own small private beach area accessible from the basement level, and guests get complimentary use of sun loungers and towels. The outdoor pool on the ground floor is fantastic, with many European and American tourists enjoying the sun. My tip is to have breakfast early, as the number of sun loungers on either side of the pool is limited. On Sunday evenings, the hotel hosts a pool party, which is free for guests with a room card. Non-guests have to queue and pay an entrance fee, and the atmosphere at the pool party is really great.
