I recently stayed at Barceló Sants Hotel and had an excellent experience. The hotel’s unique, space-inspired design stands out and makes for a memorable atmosphere. Conveniently located above Sants train station, it offers direct access to local and high-speed trains, making it easy to explore Barcelona and surrounding areas.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful, futuristic touches and ambient lighting that create a relaxing mood. My room had an impressive view of the city, and the bed was especially comfortable, providing a great night’s rest after long days of sightseeing. Mo

Very good, the hotel staff are very handsome and provide good service! The environment is also very comfortable and clean. The only drawback is transportation. Uber drivers cannot go to the hotel entrance.

This hotel was in a great location for walking to all the sites. For the most part it was quiet, but I was there in Oct 2022 (not the height of tourism months). It's a small room, but the layout is quite efficient and does the job. I should mention that this hotel is above the subway so you will hear passing trains. I use white noise at night so it's not a problem for me. The beds were decent and they move twins together for a king or apart for separate beds. The pillows were decent as well. The shower was excellent...good pressure and very large. The room is very clean and tidy. You won't get any toiletries like a shower cap and the like. They do supply glasses and a tea kettle, but you won't get a coffee maker. The lobby is really nice. They do a breakfast buffet if you like for a separate fee. There are many nice restaurants a short walking distance. Some of the better restaurants we attended were near the market just down the street. This is also waking distance to the Sagrada Familia.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times when travelling for work. The rooms are clean but not particularly spacious. The breakfast is of a good continental standard with a good selection of choice. There is complimentary drinks in the reception area The reception staff are usually polite and helpful but on my last visit i was left extremely frustrated. Unbeknown to me there was a taxi strike on the day of my departure which came into affect from 10am. Had there been clear signs displayed on the reception desk or perhaps if the receptionists could have informed me when checking in two days earlier, i could have made alternative arrangements or left for the airport earlier. as it stood i missed my flight and had to purchase another return. The hotel aren't solely to blame but i felt they could have simply mentioned it as they knew i had flown in and knew the day i was leaving. In terms of location, it worked for me to get taxis to places but for reference. Las Rambla is 40mins walk, Sagrada Familia 45mins I would not be in a rush to book here again

Firstly, it's too pricey and doesn't really offer good value. It feels very hot even after adjusting the temperature to the lowest setting (19 degrees Celsius being the lowest possible). The room is a bit old, and water flows out from the shower room while showering. The bathroom area is extremely dark. This package cost me around $6K HKD, and I can confidently say it doesn't compare well to other new 5-star hotels in Barcelona. The best thing about W is the bar/restaurant on the 26th floor. The staff is generally rude and impolite, possibly including some of the security staff. The reception staff assisting with check-in are also unfriendly, possibly due to a large number of guests waiting.

The hotel is excellent, with few negative points (see below). It is new, modern and functional. The location is not so central for tourists, and the metro is about 10 minutes walk. I recommend the hotel. Possible points: - large, new, modern and well-equipped room; - large and functional bathroom; - hairdryers; - bed linen with quality fabric; - very good breakfast; - no carpet, and yes wood floor (more hygienic and less allergenic); - good air conditioning control; - careful staff, both breakfast and reception. Points to be improved: - the wi-fi signal is unstable and slow, falling all hours; - the hygienic paper could be of better quality; - the sticks of the larger sticks do not cover the sides (be open), leaving the inner part exposed, which is not very hygienic there, since only the fence is exchanged for each new guest (and not the internal part); - the free toilet items, including body hydrant, are missing, which is always useful when you are in Europe; - they could leave bottles of free water in the room (or in the reception space), as other hotels in this category are currently doing.

Near Spanish square, so the location for New Years Eve is OK. Decent breakfast, clean room and bathroom. Mini bar is just small bottle of water, bed is not very comfy. Location is good but not for NY eve. No rooftop bar or access to roof. No view from rooms to Spanish square/fountain and hotel bar was closed for NY eve - midnight drinks. Just a dinner from 8 till 9Pm. We were lucky to find a spot in near by bar, but it's not easy wit no reservation. Fan in the room works like old engine, not possible to sleep when it's on. Opening window is a no go due to noise from the street and it's too warm in the room to sleep in December, I wonder how does it look in summer. TV doesn't work (statics) on upper floors and wi-fi is a joke - breaking connection each 2 minutes. It's just another hotel with no ”I would like to come back” feeling.

The room was twenty to thirty square meters, very small, and the view was average. The hotel that costs 8,000 yuan a night is small, but it doesn't even have a bathtub. The sense of design can only be said to be in the eye of the beholder. I can see that a lot of thought has been put into the furniture and lamps. I have bought many of the brands I use, and the quality of the supplies is indeed good. In addition, the service is good and the location is the biggest advantage. Ranked low among the MOs I have lived in.

My daughter is currently studying abroad, and for her spring break we had planned on meeting in Barcelona, where neither of us had visited before. Freezing temperatures and snow in the United States unfortunately tampered with our plans, and I was then detained and unable to join her. At first I was nervous, but the Hotel Arts took amazing care of my daughter as she experienced her first solo vacation - and loved every moment. From all she has told me, it sounds like the Hotel Arts made a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience in every way. Special shout out to the incredible bar staff in the lobby bar who gave her an amazing list of restaurants, bars, and site recommendations. Bartenders Alex, Nicola and Diego, whose service went above and beyond, by her report, were welcoming, gracious, and terrific hosts. My daughter also tells me the woman who helped her with check in and check out was wonderfully friendly and helped her arrange a taxi for her departure and also gave some local tips. Her name, however, seemed Catalan and my daughter cannot remember how to spell it. On check-in my daughter was given both a spa and drink voucher, both of which were very much appreciated, and put to good use. In the room as well, was a lovely gift of fresh clementines, which I am told tasted wonderful. The location of the Hotel Arts is also perfect, sitting on the beach and close to attractions and public transportation. The amenities were also wonderful, and the gym was clean, spacious, and had lovely equipment. The property itself is gorgeous, with astounding views of the Mediterranean. This hotel truly held up to Ritz Carlton and 5 star standard, and every part of her experience far exceeded expectations. She couldn’t have been in safer hands and I am so glad she has such a good experience at the Hotel Art. She recommends it so highly that we are now changing our summer vacation plans from France to Barcelona. we look very much to returning to this amazing property!

The Majestic Hotel is in a great location. Lots of shopping and places to eat in the area. Our room was a junior suite. It was large, comfortable, very clean and extremely welcoming upon our return after a long day out enjoying the sites of Barcelona. The breakfast was wonderful having pretty much everything you could want for breakfast and more! When we come back to Barcelona in the future, we will definitely stay at the Majestic Hotel.

GGuest UserWe were very pleased with the central location, modern amenities and gracious staff at The Monument Hotel. Situated within an easy walk to some of Gaudi’s most impressive buildings, fine shopping and dining with its own Michelin restaurant on premises, there wasn’t much to be desired in this boutique hotel, save for some minor details. In our case, although we arrived on an early flight and we’re aware check in was not until 3 as we’d been informed when I placed my reservation noting our arrival time - and the concierge agreeably stored our luggage as we took in local sights - we were notified while having lunch a room with a better view would not be available until 5 pm. We decided to wait for that option and made use of the rooftop pool lounges for a late afternoon siesta. Shortly after 5, I went to reception and was informed the room was ready. While adequate in terms of space - with a small sitting area adjacent to the sleeping area - I can’t say there was a view per se as it basically looked over rooftops, perhaps what could be devastating a small courtyard. The bat was actually quite large in comparison but for some reason of design I don’t understand there was a step to the commode area - causing some stumbles during the middle of the night until we were properly acclimated. As I like to tune into the news in the morning while dressing, I mentioned the TV remote in the bed area was not working, however, this was not addressed during our stay. Relatively minor issues all in all in an otherwise comfortable and safe 3 day stay.

TTeeks Pros:
- The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful
- If you request something, such as an iron etc., it’s always on time and without delay
- Everything was clean. I cannot complain about the cleaning standards.
Cons
- the room is quite dark despite the lights available
- The view, especially the back view, was dreary and depressing, considering I had a long flight from Asia compared to my sister, who flew from Europe and didn’t need the rest as much as I did. Every day, I woke up to a very depressing view. It’s not ideal, and it's poor for someone who may enjoy visuals.
- The sockets were annoying; one didn’t work, and the kettle station needed to be handheld or changed elsewhere. Twice, I held the kettle button down manually to make coffee because I couldn’t be bothered for someone to come and check or replace it as I was in a rush
- The furniture and carpets are outdated in style and appearance. It makes the hotel look way older
- There’s a door holder behind the bathroom door, which lands in the middle, next to the toilet. I hurt myself a few times because I keep forgetting it’s there and, therefore, poorly designed
- Unfortunately, we forgot to bring our toothpaste and toothbrush, though I wasn’t expecting Best Western not to have them in your room. You have to request them every day. The housekeeper didn’t leave them or free water for us daily, only on the first day. So I’m not sure if she’s been forgetting to give us any, or it’s only complimentary water on day 1.
- The wardrobe is tiny and in such a hidden, awakened position. It was dark black and looked like glass. We had to call the staff to show us. It’s in a weird place
- Slippers: Again, much like the water, we were only given slippers on the first day. I understand the need to go green, but given that we stayed for four nights, it would be hygienic to give us a new set. On the last day, we had to wear our own shoes inside the room, which wasn’t great.
- We paid € 15 additional for breakfast daily €. It was basic but not bad. But the time until 10:30AM is good.
Overall, was it worth the money we paid for four nights? No.
The only highlights were ,mentioned among the professional staff members and cleanliness standards.

GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel for one night prior to returning home. It was the third hotel that we stayed in during our trip to Spain. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The area was great with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. My only suggestions for improvements would be to have more than one english television channel. It was our last night and we were tired out so we would have liked to watch something besides BBC news. There was also quite a wait for an elevator.
GGuest UserThis was the cheapest option when we went to Barcelona so we weren't expecting much. It's actually pretty good. It's more of a budget hotel than a hostel, you'd see people from different age groups. During breakfast you'd see old people as well as children. So if you're looking for a party hostel this isn't the place. There's a bar downstairs though and it's quite easy to meet people there if you're traveling alone. The area is great too, close to the metro station and a number of attractions. lots of places to eat nearby. there's a mini mart just across the street. Facilities were great, rooms were kept clean. Wifi was good. The buffet breakfast was pretty good too and i'd say it's fairly priced. There are washers and dryers in the basement if you need to do your laundry, you just need coins to operate em. If you don't have coins you could easily get some at the reception. Which brings me to the only complaint i'm going to make. At night there's frequently a long line at the reception. The hostel needs to hire more people to man the reception at night.
GGuest UserI stayed here for two nights in January 2022 as part of a group tour and overall had a pretty awful experience. I faced the following problems at this hotel- 1- The bathroom is open without any door so basically everyone in the room can see you inside the bathroom. This is not an ideal situation for any travelers except couples. Moreover, it ensures that the water from the shower falls into the room and makes it wet. 2- The bed provides no comforter or blanket. So when you feel cold you have to unwrap a brown paper full length cover that does not give any protection at all from the cold. 3- When you switch on the hand shower, the head shower comes on automatically, that too with ice cold water! 4- There is a large counter behind the bed to place items but when you put something on it, you get a loud metallic shrieking noise. 5- Air conditioning in the corridor outside the rooms is set to freezing temperature. 6- Breakfast timings were supposed to be from 7 am to 10 am, but when we went at 8 30 am most of the food was over and nobody was taking an interest in refilling the food. The coffee machine was not working properly. 7- We could hear everything that occurred in adjacent rooms, because soundproofing was poor. 8- We were given two separate beds in spite of being a couple. 9- Finding out which switches operate which lights was very difficult. Moreover on the first day we requested a wake up call which never came! The few positive points are- 1- Close to Fira Metro Station on the Metro Line 9 (4 minute walk) 2- Close to Gran Vía 2 shopping mall (12 minute walk) 3- Friendly and polite staff Overall I think the hotel needs to make a lot of improvements!

GGuest UserThe service attitude is very good and the hygiene is also very good. There are drinks available and it's very close to the subway station. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a gift for my birthday.
GGuest UserThe employees was very helpful and kind! The hotel room was clean and modern. Close to transportation, the airport and centrum. You can either walk 20-30 minutes to the centrum, or take the metro that goes right next to the hotel(10-15 minutes). I bought a metro-ticket that lasted for 5 days and paid about 10 euros. Option to take taxi 5-10 minutes to the centrum. The beach is about 25 minutes by car and cost between 25 to 35 euros, depends on what time of the day or which day of the week. I had a very pleasant stay, and I recommend this hotel!

RRinret DabengI have mixed feelings about my experience. The hotel is a nice hotel. The location is amazing. It’s clean, rooms are spacious and the staff are extremely professional, pleasant and serviceable. Unfortunately the hotel and our room had a very musty smell- almost like wet carpet or wet towel which we didn’t like. Housekeeping is extremely slow, I’m not sure if there is only one cleaner but essentially we could leave for hours and come back and still find our room had not been cleaned yet. Also, we didn’t like the food…limited options and it’s the same thing everyday…and not all of it was pleasant to eat. We had paid for half board so we didn’t want our money to go to waste but otherwise I wouldn’t have eaten at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay in this super efficient hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious and highly functional. Very warm services ( especially thankful to Christian) to warn our elder members on pickpocket and gave a loan kettle). Highly recommended. We will be back.
SSaraWe stayed for 4 nights to attend the Spanish Grand Prix and could not have been more impressed. The hotel was super clean and modern, the check in process was fast and all hotel staff were friendly and polite. Our room was very spacious, and the fridge was really handy as we were taking packed lunches to the F1 each day. There was also a microwave & kettle. The bathroom/shower was spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. It was a little noisy (from outside the hotel) but it was 24th June celebrations so I think any hotel would have had some noise given all the crackers/fireworks going off! The room was cleaned to a high standard each day, and the location of the hotel (right in front of the Forum T4 tram stop) made it really easy to get to the bus station to catch the bus to the circuit de Catalunya, as well as to get into the city on the other days. It is also a couple minutes walk from Diagonal Mar mall, which was useful for grabbing food. Would definitely recommend staying here!
