Barcelona Hostels

What a jem! A very quiet and lovely place to stay. It's not big, has cool shared spaces including a huge pretty backyard, which everyone keeps modestly calling a 'terrace'))) Impeccably clean! I really wanted to rent a room, but since none were available I went for the shared female dormitory which did not disappoint. The beds are wide and comfortable. The mattresses have some cool cover that is soft and probably made of rubber, so nothing gets in which makes you forget all the bug or whatever fears one might have. The lockers are not big (nor small) with digital locks, no one apart from yourself will be able to open it. If you have a large suitcase, do not worry. The hostel provides a free storage room, so you can put all the essentials in the locker and the rest won't be bothering you. If you need to wash the clothes, they've got a a washing machine and a drier. You need to pay to use them, but it's still better than seeking a laundromat somewhere else - you can chill in your room or kitchen while it works. I did not cook, but I loved being able to store ready-made food and sandwich supplies in a rather spacious fridge. The team that works there feels like a family)) You can see them being truly eager to help, really nice people. The place is warm and cosy)) Feels like you're staying at friend's house.

The hotel is right on Las Ramblas, but the whole avenue is under renovation, making it a bit messy. The hotel's small entrance was a bit hard to find. Directly across the street is the famous La Boqueria Market, and there's also a Starbucks nearby. The room offered complimentary bottled water. There's a coffee machine at the front desk, but you have to pay for coffee. The two ladies at the front desk were both very friendly. On our second day, since we were changing hotels and wanted to visit more sights early, we left our luggage at the hotel and picked it up in the afternoon after exploring.

The layout of the 8-bed mixed dorm is brilliantly designed; the lockers and baggage area are separated from the actual beds, which significantly cuts down on late-night noise and disruptions from roommates packing. The property excels in both amenities and security, utilizing reliable card access for the rooms. Its location in Eixample is perfect—central, incredibly safe, and just a short walk from public transport and major sights. After a long day of exploring, the communal areas, complete with a pool table and an outdoor terrace pool, provide a fantastic, relaxed environment to unwind and meet fellow travelers. While the beds could benefit from curtains to add a bit more personal privacy, the overall cleanliness, friendly staff, and great value make it a top-tier choice for a Barcelona trip.

This hotel offers great value for money in Seville, and its location in the Gracia district is super convenient for reaching all the attractions by public transport. Plus, there's a breakfast spot nearby, and it's in a safe area, so you don't have to worry about a thing.

I stayed at Yeah Hostel for 3 nights. There were several high points, but also some significant drawbacks that made the experience bittersweet. Service & Staffs -The receptionists were very accommodating and helpful. However, I noticed a clear difference with the other staff members; many didn’t seem happy working there and weren't as friendly or welcoming as the front desk team. The Incident - Living in a hostel always carries a risk. Unfortunately, I lost cash inside my room during my stay. While the hostel acknowledged the situation, they couldn't conduct an investigation because there is no CCTV in the private sleeping areas—which is understandable for privacy, but still very frustrating. Facilities - The rooms are spacious, and the lockers are large enough to fit a big piece of luggage. It’s a peaceful place to stay despite being a hostel. Location - This is the hostel’s best feature. It’s walking distance to Sagrada Família and other major tourist spots. There are plenty of resto-bars, convenience stores, and easy access to both bus stops and the metro. A great spot for convenience and comfort, but you must be extremely careful with your cash and valuables, as you never know who you are sharing a room with.

There is thief in this hostel! I almost lost my phone but luckily the police find it, it is hide somewhere else in the hostel, but there is no direct evidence to charge that suspect, all the hostel can do is to kick him out. Another Korean women are that lucky as the police couldn’t find her phone at last. The staff are really helpful when dealing with this issue and I really appreciate that. The staff did warn all guest to be careful for their own things and make sure to lock all of them in the locker the night before. The owner of the hostel also offer me help immediately during the whole process. Thank you again. About this hostel, the location is really convenient and with a fair price in the city centre. The kitchen is a bit small but it is acceptable. The shower room is okay for me and the shower room is clean in general. However, for the bed-set & towel you will have to pay 3 euro for it. Else, you can only sleep with a pillow with no bedsheet during your stay. If you pay card & the amount is less than 120 euro, they will charge extra 5% fee. So you better have some cash. Like all the other hostel, you should be aware of your own valuables and lock them up in the locker. Overall, I would recommend this hostel despite the sad incident happen on me.

The reception crowd is very cool, the cleaning was daily fair, showers and toilets always clean, comfortable beds and lockers very large, very functional kitchen area and integrated with the lounge, which facilitates socialization. The Rosana of cleaning is very capricious, hard-working, kept the kitchen always clean. She was very nice and attentive. I've worked hard on hostels, I only have a few suggestions: readable identification of the kitchen space, because you cannot know what you have or what you can use; A drinking water filter for guests, besides being very useful and guests would like it very much, would greatly reduce the amount of garbage in the rooms, which are largely water bottles, in addition to helping nature; Improve the stability of the Internet, as it has not worked at numerous times; and Maybe change the order of the Lockers of the people who sleep in the bed from above, placing it in the direction of the staircase, because the guest would have more freedom to use their space without hindering or bothering the other. Frizando, these are suggestions for improvement, they are not complaints. My stay was great and I highly recommend it.

We recently stayed in a 4-bunk room at this hostel for two nights. Overall, the experience was decent, though there were a few notable drawbacks. Pros:- The locker and bed facilities were excellent, spacious, secure, and more than adequate for four guests. The general service was acceptable, with staff being reasonably responsive and helpful. Cons:- The shower was a major issue. Despite adjusting the temperature lever, it often only produced hot water, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. The air conditioning was inconsistent and, at times, ineffective. In a humid climate, this made the room feel unbearably hot. Unfortunately, opening the window isn’t an option, as it’s linked to the air conditioning system and automatically shuts off when the window is opened. Summary:- While the sleeping arrangements and security features were commendable, the poor shower and unreliable air conditioning significantly impacted our comfort. These are essential amenities, especially in a humid environment, and I hope the hostel addresses them soon.

I had emailed in advance to let them know I'd be staying with a friend, but upon arrival, we were assigned separate rooms. I was told that since our reservations weren't made together, we couldn't be in the same room. If they had informed me of this when I first emailed, I could have canceled our separate bookings and made a single reservation for both of us. Eventually, Trip.com helped us out, and we were assigned to the same room for one night. However, since both my room and my friend's room had empty beds from the very first night, I'm still puzzled as to why we couldn't have been assigned to the same room from the beginning. I was also surprised that a €50 deposit was required to borrow a hairdryer. When I actually tried to borrow one, all the hairdryers were already lent out. Since I had already paid the deposit, I think it would be better if they checked hairdryer availability before asking for a deposit. Regarding the other guests, it's a dormitory, so I suppose it's to be expected to some extent, but my impression was that the quality of guests varied wildly. On the positive side, the dining area was spacious, the coin lockers were very secure, the location was excellent, and the cleaning staff were very kind. Thank you.

Service from the guy working in the cafe who handles baggage storage is too bad. If he doesn’t like assisting travelers, shouldn’t be there.
