"The hotel reception staff were amazing and very friendly. The hotel is renovated and clean and in a perfect location. However, the room service is charged and they don't provide still water in the rooms, the fees of the water is very expensive in comparison to supermarkets."

"Highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay here. It's quiet and the location is excellent, right next to a superb restaurant called H83. Just 20 meters to the right, there's a mid-sized supermarket with very good prices. A bus stop is only 100 meters to the left, and a metro station is 500 meters to the right, making transportation incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This was by far the best accommodation experience we had during our month-long trip in Europe. Our room, 606, was a comfortable size and very thoughtfully laid out. It was incredibly quiet; we didn't experience any noise disturbances at all during our entire 7-day stay."

"very convenient location, walking to the center only takes about 10-15 minutes. nice room, minimalist, clean. before booking, I read comments complaining about the water pressure, but when I used it, it was fine, the only thing is that the faucet is a bit loose. the refrigerator is not very cool. those are the 2 minus points, otherwise it was still a very good experience."

"This hotel truly embodies the high standards of a tourist city, and I was completely won over. The atmosphere is lovely, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the service was also top-notch. It's very convenient for getting around, with metro and bus stops right nearby. Three of Gaudi's most famous works are within walking distance. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and the room was quite spacious."

"It's great that there's a Carrefour Market nearby!
The room was larger than I expected, which was nice, and the bedding was clean. Unfortunately, there weren't any wine glasses or a corkscrew, so I went to the bar across the street and asked for someone to open a bottle of wine, and they did so with great courtesy.
The staff were friendly, and after check-out, they let me store my luggage in a locker until the end of the day. Check-out was also at noon, which was generous."

"The location is super good, very close to the Sagrada Familia, you can see the Sagrada Familia from the balcony, the room is large, the kitchen facilities are complete, there is a big supermarket downstairs, we bought milk, bread, drinks, etc., which can be placed in the refrigerator, and the microwave can also heat milk. It is close to the subway and convenient for travel. There are Chinese and Western restaurants nearby. It is very suitable for a family of three or even four (the large sofa in the living room can also sleep one person). It is worth recommending. It is recommended to arrange a place to dry clothes on the small balcony in the kitchen."

"1. The room is relatively large, clean and hygienic, with good soundproofing. Closing the balcony door can almost achieve silence, and it is also very quiet at night facing the street;
2. The L1 line subway station is very close, and Barcelona subway travel is very convenient, and it is very important to be close to the subway station;
3. From Barcelona Airport T1 Terminal to the hotel, you can choose Airport Bus A1 (Bell Stop Bus), and the drop-off point is 550 meters away from the hotel on foot, which is convenient, fast and economical;
4. The breakfast variety is good, and the food variety is basically updated every 3 days;
5. There is a large food supermarket downstairs City, we bought 8-liter bottled water downstairs for six days (Barcelona tap water smells very bad);
6. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful;
7. The hotel construction has not yet been completed (March 2025), the construction time is about 09:00-17:00, and the impact is not great;
8. The room air conditioning (Daikin air conditioning, heating is very good) is very effective, almost no noise, and the room temperature can be controlled at an ideal level;
9. All in all, we are very satisfied, and sincerely thank all the staff of Athena Calabria Apartment Hotel!"

"The room was very new! It's a decent size, and the slippers provided were soft and good quality. From the balcony, you can see the main road in front of the hotel. The location is great, just a three-minute walk from University Station, where the A1 airport bus stops. Most other popular attractions are within walking distance, perfect for a leisurely stroll."

The room came with complimentary water, chocolates, and a minibar. However, the window was an internal one, and the room's soundproofing wasn't great. One evening, there was a persistent buzzing sound from an unknown source that staff were unable to resolve. Aside from this one issue, everything else was wonderful.

酸酸菜魚Great hotel option for a Barcelona city stay. We really liked this hotel at the edge of Barcelona city. This hotel is still within zone 1 of Barcelona so you can use a 1 zone public transport to get to and from almost anywhere in Barcelona.
The location is pretty good but it is a bit close to the La Mina neighborhood which is a poorer neighborhood of Barcelona. There have been improvements in the neighborhood but it is still recommended to stick to the areas that are near the hotel or the south and west of the hotel (towards the sea) if you plan to stay out late at night.
We found the area very convenient for us as we arrived early morning and the Forum metro station is nice and the area immediately near the hotel has reasonable level of security and local police presence.
The hotel reception and team was very cordial and serviceable. The room we got was very good, had a nice balcony and it overlooks the nearby student accommodation so it was silent at night. Breakfast was very tasty and had enough of a food variety + delicious breads and iberico ham.

1) Check-in time is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
2) Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
3) There is a EUR 15 surcharge for check-in between 8:00 PM and midnight, and a EUR 30 surcharge for arrival between midnight and 3:00 AM. The late check-in fee must be paid in cash.
Check-in after 3:00 AM is not possible because we do not have 24-hour service. If you arrive this late, we will be able to accommodate you the following morning from 10:00 AM.
Late check-in must be notified in advance. If you do not notify us in advance, we will be entitled to accommodate you the following day. Guests, please respect each other and each other's time.
4) Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine of 50 euros.
5) We take neighborly relations very seriously, so any noise that may disturb them is prohibited, especially after 10:00 p.m.
6) Parties (drinks) are strictly prohibited inside the apartment.
7) Guests who are not included in the reservation are not permitted to stay overnight.
8) A separate shelf in the refrigerator is designated for your room; in front of it, there is a number corresponding to your room number.
9) At the end of the stay, the tenant agrees to leave the kitchen utensils (plates, glasses, pans, cutlery) clean.
10) When leaving the apartment, always make sure the lights are off and the doors and windows are closed.
Additional Services:
- Cleaning during your stay: 10 euros per day (optional).

MM8657****While the price booked via Ctrip was quite affordable at the time, I still wouldn't recommend staying here. The hotel had an indescribable, unpleasant fragrance, and the air conditioning unit also emitted a strange smell, which was simply unbearable. My husband wanted to leave on the very first day of our stay, but having already paid, we decided to tough it out. There are some restaurants, supermarkets, and eateries nearby. Taxis are sometimes easy to find, but at other times they're scarce. To fellow Chinese travelers, if you have other options, I'd strongly advise against staying here!

GGuest UserI found this hotel miserable from many aspect. We arrived at midnight from the airport and we’re given the last room left. The room has a distinct smell that almost like a man’s underarm. We asked for a double room but it was two single beds put together. The shower head had a 30s hot water and 5s cold water loop. The bath tub was blocked.
We asked for a change and were given an upgrade queen bed room the next day, thank you for that. Unfortunately, the new room still has the underarm smell but a bit less, and also a new smell like it’s been a very old room with unventilated smell from some furnitures or the wall. The shower head problems was still there.
The location is alright, despite quite a distance from the metro station, you can still take the buses.

DDara TanLocker is available for store luggages before check in time @ 2euro. Hotel is clean, staff is ok. Wall is thin like what other comments said but you can solve problem by your earphone. Bed is comfort, recommended. It is in walking distance to sagrada familla. About 30 mins far from airport, taxi cost will be around 50euro. Microwave is available at first floor and there is a coffee/bakery shop which open since 6.30am. Suitable for anyone who will leave hotel very early morning.
