Ohla Eixample Hotels in Barcelona

Ohla Eixample

"We stayed for 4 nights and were grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room. The hotel is very new, with double sinks in the bathroom, and the shower facilities are modern and clean. The amenities provided are also high-end, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a really good night's sleep. The service was excellent; the Chinese ladies at the front desk were warm and friendly, and they answered all our questions enthusiastically – a definite highlight! The hotel breakfast was good, and you could even order complimentary pancakes or omelets, so getting a full meal was no problem at all. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with many highly-rated restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. A 5-minute walk to the left takes you to Casa Milà, and about a 15-minute walk brings you to Casa Batlló (where you'll also find the Gràcia metro and train stations). Turning right and walking for 5 minutes leads you to Provença metro station, which is very handy for getting to Mount Tibidabo. All in all, we were extremely satisfied with our 5-day, 4-night stay in Barcelona, and I highly recommend this hotel!"

Nobu Hotel Barcelona

"Very convenient if need to travel through Sants Railway as it’s just opposite. It’s further from main attractions but a quick subway ride can reach easily. Room is big, clean and chic design. Breakfast has good quality food and good view of the city."

Lamaro Hotel Hotels in Barcelona

Lamaro Hotel

"The room had a strong musty smell, and the soundproofing was very poor. The facilities were a bit old-fashioned. Besides the good location, it's hard to consider this a five-star hotel, and it offers very poor value for money."

Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona Hotels in Barcelona

Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona

"The Mandarin Oriental Barcelona is located in the city center, close to Gaudi's three-piece suite. The airport express station Plaza Catalunya is only a few minutes away. The hotel is very MO-style and the service staff are very enthusiastic."

"Overall it was good, suitable for business travel. The only downside was that the bottled water in the mini-fridge wasn't replenished daily. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and even helped me print documents!"

"Just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. It's not in the city center, but it's a clean, new area not far from the airport, perfect for an overnight layover. There's a large Mercadona supermarket downstairs with everything you could need: snacks, drinks, bottled water, fruits, meats, seafood, beer, wine, hams, sausages, and daily necessities. Service: The front desk can help call a taxi. Facilities: The rooftop skybar is available for walk-ins. Environment: The panoramic elevator offers sea views."

Travelodge Barcelona Fira ★★★
"The room was spacious and clean. The shower in the bathroom had great water pressure and drained well, making for a very comfortable shower experience. However, there was no electric kettle in the room, which was a shame as I couldn't make tea or coffee. As for the location, if you enjoy going out at night, this might not be the best choice as there's nothing much around."

Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou ★
"Location is nearby the Convention Center, 15 mins by bus and foot. It’s 5 mins walk to metro, and another 15 mins metro ride to the touristy locations. There are pretty good restaurants and brunch cafe nearby too. This is probably a 3 star hotel which is very functional, clean and comfortable; it’s definitely value for the price you pay. I even managed an early check in at 2pm, hassle free. Highly recommended. Just a note - there’s no toiletries provided so do bring your own."

"The location is unbeatable! It's right next to a subway station, with a bakery and restaurants just outside. A large supermarket is also only a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's interior is pleasant as well, with a shared area featuring a fridge, microwave, hot water kettle, and even a dining table. There's a bit of street noise, but it was perfectly acceptable for me. Plus, it's not far from Gaudi's architecture and other attractions."

Hotel Ronda Lesseps ★★★★
"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the metro station (L3), making it safe and convenient. It's also very close to the Gràcia district, where you can experience the local lifestyle of Barcelona. The hotel prepared a lovely honeymoon welcome decoration in our room, and each guest receives a welcome drink upon check-in (assumed this should be applied to all guests). However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The bathroom lacked a ventilation system, so even with a window, it felt humid, especially after showering, which led to unpleasant odors. Additionally, the hairdryer was quite outdated and would automatically shut off after one minute. If you have long hair, it's advisable to check with the hotel in advance about borrowing a different hairdryer or bringing your own."
