Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia
9.0 (426 reviews)

Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia ★★★★

📍 Pg. de Gràcia, 84, Eixample, Barcelona

"The hotel initially assigned us a terrible room right next to the elevator, with a constant dripping sound and a window facing an air shaft, making the air circulation poor. After communicating with the front desk, they changed us to another room of the same type, which was much better. So, if you book this hotel, remember to speak up if you're not satisfied. The room change made a huge difference. This was also the only one of the four hotels we stayed at that provided toiletries and slippers. The location is excellent, right next to Casa Milà, which is perfect for booking an early morning ticket for it. It's also very close to the metro station, making it convenient to get to Sagrada Familia and the train station."

Hotel Sant Pau

Hotel Sant Pau ★★★

📍 Carrer de Sant Antoni Maria Claret, 173, Horta-Guinardo, Barcelona

"Forgot my Perfume, asked to deliver my friend but no response"

Lamaro Hotel Hotels in Barcelona

Lamaro Hotel

"The room had a strong musty smell, and the soundproofing was very poor. The facilities were a bit old-fashioned. Besides the good location, it's hard to consider this a five-star hotel, and it offers very poor value for money."

Ohla Eixample Hotels in Barcelona

Ohla Eixample

"We stayed for 4 nights and were grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room. The hotel is very new, with double sinks in the bathroom, and the shower facilities are modern and clean. The amenities provided are also high-end, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a really good night's sleep. The service was excellent; the Chinese ladies at the front desk were warm and friendly, and they answered all our questions enthusiastically – a definite highlight! The hotel breakfast was good, and you could even order complimentary pancakes or omelets, so getting a full meal was no problem at all. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with many highly-rated restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. A 5-minute walk to the left takes you to Casa Milà, and about a 15-minute walk brings you to Casa Batlló (where you'll also find the Gràcia metro and train stations). Turning right and walking for 5 minutes leads you to Provença metro station, which is very handy for getting to Mount Tibidabo. All in all, we were extremely satisfied with our 5-day, 4-night stay in Barcelona, and I highly recommend this hotel!"

"This is a transit hotel, a bit busy with many tourists, but it's great for an overnight stay on the way to the airport. The breakfast buffet could be improved, mainly because the service staff aren't very attentive."

"Overall it was good, suitable for business travel. The only downside was that the bottled water in the mini-fridge wasn't replenished daily. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and even helped me print documents!"

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to Casa Milà, and below it is Passeig de Gràcia, making shopping incredibly convenient. It wasn't as chaotic or dangerous as I might have imagined. The hotel was very clean, although the room was a bit too hot when I first checked in. Otherwise, everything else was quite good."

Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou ★
"Location is nearby the Convention Center, 15 mins by bus and foot. It’s 5 mins walk to metro, and another 15 mins metro ride to the touristy locations. There are pretty good restaurants and brunch cafe nearby too. This is probably a 3 star hotel which is very functional, clean and comfortable; it’s definitely value for the price you pay. I even managed an early check in at 2pm, hassle free. Highly recommended. Just a note - there’s no toiletries provided so do bring your own."

The Loft House Barcelona ★★
"This hostel made my Barcelona trip truly exceptional! I met so many new people. For two of the four nights I stayed, there were free activities after 8 PM, including live music. After the shows, people from different countries would grab guitars and sing together – it was such a great vibe. The dorms had privacy curtains, the lockers were smooth, and there was plenty of space. The shared bathrooms were also spacious enough. I'm really going to miss this trip!"

Abba Sants ★★★★
"Abba is in a very convenient location, close to both the L3 and L5 metro lines as well as Barcelona Sants Station, making it easy to get around the city. The only issue I had was with the air conditioning. For all 3 nights of my stay, it kept automatically lowering the temperature during the night. I set it to 27°C before going to bed, but every morning I woke up to find it had dropped to 21°C. It was freezing and unfortunately left me with a sore throat. Other than that, I had a great stay, breakfasts are good as well."
