This hotel is incredibly popular, and we were lucky to snag a room. The room itself was very spacious. On the day we checked in, it was raining on Mount Wutai, and the mountain views outside our window were shrouded in mist, creating an almost transcendent atmosphere. The hotel manager and two other staff members we encountered were all very charming young men. They kindly helped us with our luggage, carrying it up and down, and also gave us great recommendations for places to visit. Their attention to detail was truly thoughtful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. When we checked out, they walked us all the way out of the hotel, waving goodbye, and repeatedly cautioned us to drive carefully due to the fog and rain, which we found incredibly touching. If possible, we would definitely love to come back again. Just two minor points for improvement, if I may: firstly, the pillows were a bit too soft, which isn't ideal for someone with neck issues; and secondly, it was quite cold that day, and the heating hadn't been turned on yet, so the toilet seat was a bit chilly.

Wutaishan Fengshen Homestay! I'll definitely be back to this mountain retreat again and again!!! Affordable and serene, it's truly next level! They offer pick-up and drop-off, and the value for money is exceptional! Staying here in Wutaishan really enhanced my trip and made for such a relaxing time~ The owner even provides transportation, which is super convenient and saves a lot of hassle ✨ The moment I stepped into the courtyard, I felt instantly at peace. The bluestone path, the shadow of ancient pines, and the faint scent of sandalwood in the air – it's all so calming. In the public area, you can practice calligraphy or enjoy tea around a hearth, instantly leaving the hustle and bustle behind. 🍃 Every guest room exudes a subtle sense of Zen, making you unconsciously let go of worldly worries. I'm giving five stars because five stars is the maximum rating on Trip.com. This hotel offers a semi-luxury experience at the price of a three or four-star hotel – it's absolutely fantastic value for money! 1. The facilities are incredibly grand. They've built a whole city from scratch, and it's quite impressive. The red and green color scheme reflects Shanxi folk customs; it might seem a bit rustic at first glance, but it actually grows on you. 2. The room is huge, with a separate bedroom, living room, bathroom, and a courtyard. The courtyard has a glass roof and a bathtub, and the functional areas are well-designed with good attention to decorative details. 3. The service was much better than expected. While it's not the uniform, standardized service you'd find in a chain hotel, the staff's enthusiasm is evident, and they handle service details very well. 4. I'm really looking forward to their official opening once the public areas are fully completed.

I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Wutai Mountain. Facilities: Very complete Environment: My two-day, one-night stay at Wutai Mountain was definitely worth it. Service: Unlimited drinks at the Gongde Spring; very convenient shuttle bus.

When I visited Mount Wutai, I was torn between booking the Marriott or a guesthouse. My main concern was the Marriott's distance from the scenic area and potential inconvenience. However, I ultimately chose the Marriott for its reputation for excellent service. After checking in, all my worries disappeared! Every morning, there are three scheduled shuttle buses that go directly to the central scenic area. If you miss one, it's no problem at all; the hotel's electric car will take you to the Route 8 bus stop anytime. When you return, just call the hotel from the designated stop and they'll pick you up immediately. It was incredibly convenient and I was very satisfied. The food at the hotel restaurant was also delicious. All in all, it exceeded my expectations!
