GGuest UserWhen I was choosing accommodation in Wutai Mountain, this place immediately caught my eye. The service was truly exceptional. Whether it was the butler or other staff members, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic. Any questions or requests were always addressed and resolved promptly. The hotel environment is also very good. There are activities on the first floor that you can participate in, and the second floor even has a singing bowl space, which creates a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in the 'Red Rattan Cane' room type, which offered a very expansive view. A fruit platter was delivered to our room every day, but it would be even better if the fruit selection were more carefully chosen – on the second day, the strawberries in the platter had mold on them 😧. Breakfast was a semi-buffet. While the variety wasn't extensive, the taste felt very home-style, and the Wutai Mushroom and Pork Pancake was delicious! 🤤 During our three days in Wutai Mountain, we basically had all our meals at the hotel. The preserved egg and tofu was delicious and very unique. The meatball soup is perfect for those who prefer lighter flavors. Among the two hot pot options, I'd recommend the 'Special Warm Pot' more. In contrast, the 'Wutai Mushroom and Chicken Soup Hot Pot' mostly contained chicken bones, which was a bit disappointing 🤦‍♀️.

GGuest UserA very comfortable vacation. The location of the B&B is on a clean mountainside, next to a stream. You can see the mountains and listen to the gurgling water... The room is fully equipped, the independent partition of the bathroom is very reasonable and practical, all small details are well served, and the staff at the B&B are attentive, warm, and very good. The three vegetarian meals provided by the B&B are so refreshing and delicious that I don’t want to eat out every day. I stayed for three days and had enough to eat for three days. It was a satisfying experience, healthy eating, and I drank tea and chatted in the tea room when I had nothing to do. The warm atmosphere and happy mood... The inn's general manager Yinyin's service is attentive, enthusiastic and meticulous, the tea artist is very professional, the kitchen chef produces stable and good products, and the thoughtful desserts every night are very warm and thoughtful... A wonderful trip, I will come again and look forward to seeing you again 👍

GGuest UserThe boss is very good, stayed for about 20 days. The first time I lived in the room downstairs, I changed to the room upstairs when I lived. Especially warm, the boss is very good. My brother's feet were broken, but when I returned to Beijing, I was broken. Thanks to the boss's reminder, I must go to the hospital to check it. During the stay, the temples in the core scenic area of Wutai Mountain were almost all worshipped. When returning to the room, the boss will make up the water. It is very convenient to go to the core scenic area from the homestay. If there are Tibetans staying, it will be particularly lively.

GGuest UserThe room was cozy, and I loved the tatami-style decor. It was clean and hygienic. There was a beautiful welcome fruit. Breakfast was special oat noodles, which the kids loved. The inn also has a very cute little dog, who was very friendly. I took a walk in the nearby wild forest this morning; it was very peaceful. Mount Wutai itself is strangely bustling with people and cars, yet it never felt noisy. The inn is relatively secluded, but it's also conveniently located within walking distance of attractions. In the evening, there's a night market with a wide variety of affordable and quality goods, making for a great find.

GGuest UserI often come to Mount Wutai, and after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip, I booked a newly opened homestay: it is located in the most prosperous Yangbaiyu Service Area in the scenic area. The homestay is right there after you park your car nearby. The lighting on the first floor is a little blocked, but the second floor is bright and spacious, with antique decoration and exquisite details, much like the lay Buddhist building in a certain temple. The room is decorated with solid wood, the linens are comfortable, it is a brand new room but has no smell, it has floor heating and is equipped with independent air conditioning, so you can control the temperature yourself. The boss, Xiao Dong, seems very down-to-earth. He recommends some routes, makes travel guides, and also provides tour guide services. However, since I come here so often, it is useless. The store offered tributes, and the boss personally took us to the Wuye Temple to burn incense. It was very good service, five stars for encouragement!

Wwei r q 999The Wutaishan Marriott's location is excellent, right next to the scenic area's South Gate, and the hotel provides free shuttle service for guests, making getting around hassle-free. A key point for guests driving their own cars is that you must book your vehicle at least five days in advance to enter the mountain. A little tip for drivers: if you're coming from the Wooden Pagoda of Ying County, enter through the North Gate of Mount Wutai; for trips to the Hanging Temple and Mount Hengshan, also depart from the North Gate to avoid unnecessary detours. As a Marriott brand, the hotel boasts a superb environment, with well-designed rooms and a rich and delicious breakfast spread. On this stay, I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a deluxe suite, and the service was thoughtful and impeccable. After more than ten days of travel, this was the best hotel experience of the entire trip. The overall value for money, facilities, and service all exceeded expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Mount Wutai.

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel. Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too. Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price. The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel. Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park. Thumb up for the hotel services! Thank you! We have a great and memorable trip.

The lady proprietor so efficiently and willingly planned the entire stay for us upon our arrival, booked (and paid on our behalf) the whole-day bus tour of all the 5 mountain sights, drove us to the starting bus depot, and even arrange our remaining private car routes to Pingyao, Taiyuan, Datong and Beijing. I absolutely recommend this place to stay, especially if you are foreigner and not familiar with Wutaishan, and all the logistics, you can be sure you will get all the help you need from this hotel, and your stay will be an enjoyable one.

KKutenglaoshuIt was my first time to go to Mount Wutai. I was a little confused after reading the guide. There were many problems with every hotel. I finally chose this one, thinking that it was at least relatively close. The whole family was very satisfied with the result. The room was super spacious and there were many original crystal ornaments. The view was probably the best. The Big White Pagoda was under construction and the Small White Pagoda could be seen. It is very convenient to park on Dailuoding and Dicos, and it is also very quiet at night. The car entered Wutai Mountain but failed to make a reservation. We entered successfully under the guidance of the boss. All in all, I am very satisfied and have recommended it to my friends. I will continue to stay at his house next time.
