"I accidentally browsed this homestay when I booked my 11th stay. I originally lowered my expectations in the ancient city, but the experience after I stayed in gave people a bright spot. 🌟
The B&B is located in an independent courtyard next to the north and south main roads of the ancient city. The overall decoration is antique, including a small courtyard and terrace, which perfectly fits the theme of ”Lanting Order” and is also integrated with the atmosphere of the ancient city. At the same time, there are many shops around, and it is very convenient to walk to the North City Wall and Taishan Temple Lane.
In terms of facilities and sanitation, because it is newly renovated, the inside and outside look very clean and refreshing, and there will be no traces of use in soft and hard decoration. On the night of the stay, I specially experienced the hot spring pool equipped with the room. It was accompanied by the rose petals and the complimentary fruits and refreshments. It was also a relaxing time during the trip.
In terms of service, the night of the stay coincided with the peak of the holiday. Parking in the ancient city was more difficult. The staff communicated the specific location in advance, personally took us to find a parking space, and also provided tea at the front desk for the guests who were tired of the journey. They were very patient and thoughtful.
Overall, it is a very special accommodation experience in the ancient city. Unfortunately, the stay time is short and some meanings are still not enough. I hope to have the opportunity to come back and enjoy it quietly in the off-season."

"The hotel is relatively new and is in a convenient location. It takes 15 minutes to drive to the ancient city and 10 minutes to the museum. There are restaurants, drinks and massages all around... The room is clean, the toilet has no smell, the bedding is comfortable, the drinking water is 4 bottles in the room, and there are supplies in the elevator. The window of the suite on the 7th floor is the opposite building. There is no view and rain. Not hot enough... There are basically seats available for breakfast starting from 730. There are not many vegan varieties and the taste is acceptable... It is convenient to check in and check out. It is good to have whole grain specialties as a gift... There is enough parking space and it is free. You need to scan the QR code. I couldn't scan it a few times. It took some time to manually open it, but overall it was OK."

At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Xinzhou hotel features parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"It's really possible. I wanted to book a good room at that time, so I chose this more expensive room type. Later I found out that this view king room is on both sides of the aisle at the entrance of the homestay. People come and go, and you have to look inside when you pass by. The large floor-to-ceiling windows face the window and the bathtub without any cover, so you can see clearly what people are doing inside. It feels a bit like a zoo. Otherwise, you have to keep the curtains drawn. So if couples travel, don't choose this apartment❗❗It's better to choose other cheap rooms in independent courtyards (the ones with walls in the picture). Because we were not satisfied with the room, the manager said that we could cancel the reservation if we were not satisfied. Because we couldn't find another hotel temporarily, we took the initiative to change to a lower-priced apartment. Although the manager said that the price difference would not be refunded for active room changes, satisfaction with the room is the most important thing. The coordination of the ladies working at the homestay is still very strong👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻The ladies working are very polite, beautiful and easy to talk to. They give paper towels every time they go out. "I especially like the self-service tea bar in their lobby. It is very relaxing and I hope to keep it in the future. This stay, upgraded the deluxe bed room, the room has a combed bed, three people travel just right 😊 The design of the room is particularly intimate, storage, wardrobe, etc., as well as microwave ovens, capsule coffee machines, and even equipped with fruit washing baskets, the details are really full.
The front desk staff of the hotel was very enthusiastic and told us how to go to the ancient city of Zhangzhou, and also intimately helped us check the performance schedule of the ancient city. The sister of the room service is also very active. Seeing that the three of us took the initiative to help us make the bed, add slippers, from check-in to check-out, the service experience is online throughout the whole process. "When I was staying in the store, I met the manager on duty. Seeing that we were looking for a breakfast shop, we said that we could invite a new store to try breakfast. I was really surprised that the breakfast was of good quality and rich, in line with Marriott's consistent style.
I think the overall bathroom and mattress are the advantages, and the hardness of sleeping is not afraid of back pain. The bathroom is a conditioner but the flaws are not concealed.
I hope I can continue to choose here next time, and I am very happy to bring my family!"

"We rented a car to go to Yanmenguan and stayed here on the first day. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the service was warm and patient. It was the most satisfactory hotel among the mid-to-high-end hotels I stayed in during my few days of traveling in Shanxi. There are 5 and 6 floors downstairs. There are restaurants for eating, which is very convenient for tourists who arrive late. They don’t have to run out to find food."

AAnonymous UserYou cannot use simple ”satisfaction” or ”dissatisfaction” to evaluate such a thoughtful B&B. Nanman Nanman is a small but beautiful, quiet and gentle hotel.
We are always attentive and considerate of our guests. You will be pleasantly surprised that when you wake up early in the depths of this mountain, you will have a cup of coffee that is no less than a professional coffee shop in the city. The breakfast is simple and exquisite, and you can eat local specialties.
Every decoration and detail in the hotel, from the furnishings to the hand sanitizer in the guest rooms, all demonstrate the manager's excellent taste and pursuit of quality.
Stayed for 2 consecutive days and had three meals a day. The dishes at each meal amazed my friends in the same group. They were simple, local, exquisite and delicious!
The service staff are professional and attentive. They can talk about the culture and history here, but also keep a just right distance from you, making you comfortable and stress-free.

GGuest UserThank you to the young owners and their parents for their hospitality during our short stay - for transporting my parents and I to and from restaurants for our meals and dropping us off at the main tourist attraction. Also special thanks to the 阿姨 for the delicious breakfast, her homemade mantou and pickles. Mrs Han was so generous in also helping us heat up leftovers takeaway from lunch for our dinner. The beds were comfortable. Initially the room was too warm but the young Mr Han helped to sort out the floor heating and heater so that the room was more comfortable. The recommended driver, Mr An, was very good, who brought us safely to Pingan.

The room is fully equipped, the independent partition of the bathroom is very reasonable and practical, all small details are well served, and the staff at the B&B are attentive, warm, and very good.
The three vegetarian meals provided by the B&B are so refreshing and delicious that I don’t want to eat out every day. I stayed for three days and had enough to eat for three days. It was a satisfying experience, healthy eating, and I drank tea and chatted in the tea room when I had nothing to do. The warm atmosphere and happy mood...
The inn's general manager Yinyin's service is attentive, enthusiastic and meticulous, the tea artist is very professional, the kitchen chef produces stable and good products, and the thoughtful desserts every night are very warm and thoughtful...

GGuest UserWholeheartedly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable, with really modern showers/barhrooms.
Additionally - the real highlight - Liu Kaidi couldn’t have been more helpful in helping to organize our trip with us. Amongst other things she: answered all of our questions we had about our hike around Mount Wutai, gave us a route and map, was extremely responsive on WeChat throughout our time in the area. She also allowed us to leave bags during our hike free of charge, helped us book and catch our bus to Taiyuan, arranged our bus to the East Terrace at 3.30am at the start of our hike (waking us up) and gave us a fantastic food recommendation for dinner (even walking us to the restaurant).
Our stay would not have even the same without her help and we are so grateful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I came to the area.

TTAN BOON LIANG BERNARDThis is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate .
During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day.
The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room.
The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains.
Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )

Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

HHanqing～yanIt feels so good to live halfway up the mountain. You can overlook the panoramic view. You can also watch the night view directly from the small terrace. The hot water is very good. The boss is also very helpful. He added a WeChat message in advance to let him know how to get there. In the morning, there was a little orange cat begging for food.
