The location is great , close to city Center and museum, just 2 minutes walk from the closest tram station to get off. Thought there is a restaurant in hotel from the photos but indeed just a dinning area together with the front desk area which only provides breakfast. Large room, bed and toilet are clean , kitchen is good too if you wish to cook, more homie feelings to stay in here, but the sofa in my room was having some stains. Also the room is quite (no noise from outside) , feeling secured too as solo traveller. Originally thought the washer is inside my room, but actually are all in the public washer & dryer room, tho 24 hours open, btw no washing powder provided you need to bring or buy yourself. Still good for long-trip traveller. Overall is not a bad stay with this location and room size , maybe not the best but still worth the prize

This modern hotel has a split personality. Some elements rate 5 star some 0 or minus. My wife and I stayed for three nights in their only disabled access room in June, it costs about 200 euros per night excluding breakfast. We were delayed arriving so didn't check in until around 2300. Check in staff were very good and we went up to our room. It had been made up (maybe?) but not cleaned! Excretia in the toilet bowl, bits of second hand toothpaste in the sink (which was blocked up). Complained to the night porter who came up to the room just after midnight as was genuinely embarrassed. But, the hotel was full and this was the only accessable room in the hotel! The room was given a quick clean to get us through the night. The following morning met by the very good manager who again apologised cancelled the nights charge from the bill (we paid in advanced) and said he would rectify the situation. He (Jimmy) was ashamed and seemed quite frankly shocked. We went out for the day and came back to a very clean room. On our 2nd and final full day the room was not made up at all, beds not made, no towels no toilet roll coffee etc. Again complained to the two very nice young women on reception who were very nice and very apologetic. It was our last night and were given a free (and very good breakfast). Serving manager and staff could not have been more helpful. So, great location, really great staff, great breakfast, awful, awful housekeeping (apparently sub contracted out). Should you stay in the Mercure Den Hague? You choose! Incidently, I said I was going to put a review out and Jimmy the manager said ” You must be truthful”.

Stayed for 1 nt. hotel is right at the end of the esplanade. Lovely views and sunset over the sea. On checking in we asked about a standard and a superior room, as we hadn’t precooked our visit, lady on reception with abit of effort could have sold us a superior room but when I asked if we could see both rooms she said not as she was alone on reception ( in other hotels we have been given a key to look ourselves) in the past. Standard sea view room was very nice, however neither did she recommend we needed to book to eat in the restaurant, and being a Monday evening we didn’t think it would be necessary, we were wrong, only 1 chef on so couldn’t eat there. Decided to walk into town to eat, definately go the road route, hotel suggested a back way by the harbour, not a good plan, after a long dark explore the exit was blocked, so stick to the road. Checked out in the morning and had a lovely breakfast in the old town at a beautiful bakers shop, better than 25€ ea at the hotel. Would stay again if visiting the beautiful den Haag beaches.

Spotless rooms with very nice toiletries. Only negative issue was the service in the reception. Hardly any smiles, you do not get a feeling that you are welcomed. I received a wrong invoice with a name of another customer when I rented a bike. However, the bike rental is otherwise very easy and the bikes are a good quality. If the weather allows I recommend to cycle to your destination. Excellent breakfast with a variety of gluten free and vegan options. You may also have a custom-made omelet.

It's a very nice hotel, located in the center of the city. Beautiful design, the rooms are pleasant. The breakfast is good. Those who come with a car are advised not to park in the parking lot below the hotel, because it is expensive. We camped in a parking lot within walking distance (of course after dropping off our luggage at the hotel) on Geest Street 1. We had a less pleasant experience, our daughter felt sick, and they had no idea where to refer us and we were even sent to the emergency which turned out to have been closed for 3 years. So only health, and enjoy.

Super location in the middle of The Hague opposite the Binnenhof. Everything is within walking distance. Enough restaurants, shops, supermarket and public transport almost on your doorstep. Excellent bedroom with good sofa bed. Very clean bathroom with rituals products. Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, but the room is very small. The prices in The Hague are generally high, but I don't know why this hotel is expensive but has a small room. The service is also very good and the bedding is very comfortable.

The best hotel to stay in during this trip to the Netherlands and Belgium. The price is relatively inexpensive. It is only a few minutes away from the train station. The surrounding environment is very good. It not only has beautiful buildings but also many restaurants and supermarkets. You can reach most attractions on foot. The rooms are spacious and bright, the design is trendy and reasonable, and the a**osphere is full of excitement. It was so reassuring that I even sat down and tasted a dinner with great satisfaction. I arrived at the hotel in the morning. I originally planned to store my luggage and then go out for fun. Unexpectedly, the receptionist asked me to check in several hours early. I am happy and grateful!

The location of the hotel is very good. We found the parking space for the car very expensive (27 EURO for a day). We expected better facilities for a four-star hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful, so we can give it five stars. The breakfast buffet is unfortunately very ”poor” and not what you would expect from a four-star hotel. There is still a lot to be done.

The location was convenient as it was a 5-minute walk from Central Station!! The staff were so kind, and it had a kitchen and was clean like a real home. This is a hotel I want to visit again:)
