Spa Hotels in Hague

Stayed for 1 nt. hotel is right at the end of the esplanade. Lovely views and sunset over the sea. On checking in we asked about a standard and a superior room, as we hadn’t precooked our visit, lady on reception with abit of effort could have sold us a superior room but when I asked if we could see both rooms she said not as she was alone on reception ( in other hotels we have been given a key to look ourselves) in the past. Standard sea view room was very nice, however neither did she recommend we needed to book to eat in the restaurant, and being a Monday evening we didn’t think it would be necessary, we were wrong, only 1 chef on so couldn’t eat there. Decided to walk into town to eat, definately go the road route, hotel suggested a back way by the harbour, not a good plan, after a long dark explore the exit was blocked, so stick to the road. Checked out in the morning and had a lovely breakfast in the old town at a beautiful bakers shop, better than 25€ ea at the hotel. Would stay again if visiting the beautiful den Haag beaches.

Really rate this hotel. Stayed here under previous management and enjoyed it then. The hotel is in a fantastic location for the world forum and allows easy walks into town and to the beach. Good quality breakfast but was chaos at 8am with lots of items run out and not being replaced. Came earlier the next 2 days. Service in the bar was terrible, a server told my colleague that they couldn’t make a cocktail on the menu because they ‘didn’t have time’. They’d already taken payment for it before they mentioned this. They then offered a beer in place which was 1/3 of the price and it took 3 members of management and 30 minutes to get a refund for the cocktail they didn’t serve. They then came back and said they now did have time to make it and that he could take it to his room, on his own, to drink it. He repeated the 5th time for a refund. That aside, If you want a good hotel in a great location in Den Haag, this is the one for you.

Echt een prachtig hotel, het is alsof je door een museum loopt. Waanzinnig mooi. De medewerkers zijn allemaal even galant, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Je wordt met alle egards behandeld. De kamers zijn allemaal anders ingericht, maar allemaal even mooi. Het ontbijt was het enige wat een beetje tegenviel qua kwaliteit. Met name het brood was niet zo vers. Maar de algehele beleving maakte dit meer dan goed. Als je ooit een keer in de gelegenheid bent dit prachtige hotel te bezoeken zou ik dat zeker doen!

Hotel has and does what it promises. Wonderfully located. It couldn't be closer to the boulevard, sea and shopping center: very central. Excellent entrance for wheelchair users. With a manual wheelchair you immediately need a little push to get to the counter. This is no problem. Other visitors immediately ask for a helping hand. Extremely friendly reception. Secure luggage storage in case of earlier arrival or departure than check-in / check-out. Several elevators available. Never a wait. My wheelchair with e-motion wheels just fit through the elevator door. As well as between the bathroom wall and the dividing wall. The door is too heavy to open alone, close it from a wheelchair. But oh well...a negative point? No. How often do you do that alone? Room very neat. King size bed with flat screen TV at the foot of the bed. Lovely sliding door to balcony. Not a single sound heard. Very quiet. Bathroom has everything you need. Every m2 has been used here. Bath, toilet and beautiful sink compartment. Towel service. 1 bath towel and 1 bath towel per person. We would have liked 1 more per day. A welcome with a card and treats. The beds were most wonderful. There I everywhere. It also broke out at home. It was a real pleasure to wake up without having to wake up several times during the night. To feel good instead of broke. Such. I want this bed at home too. We had breakfast included. Fine ! Everything very neat, tasty and enough. We had an extremely nice time! Are you still in doubt...More

We've just spent 4 nights here in a front sea view room with balcony overlooking the beach. Furniture on the balcony, including an ashtray which as smokers we appreciated. Room was very clean, bed including pillows very comfortable. Room fair size for two. Comfy armchair and a bench with cushions. Bathroom very clean and adequate size. Good range of toiletries provided. Minor point - I'm only 1.5m tall and found the soap and body lotion were mounted too high on the wall to be comfortable. All staff cheerful and helpful. Good breakfast selection including freshly cooked waffles and pancakes. Lifts were only a minor issue for us (although returning at midnight to be told both were out of order - our room was on the 4th floor, wasn't great) but if the hotel is full I can see it would be a major problem. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The room is OK, but a little small for the price. Also, from September 1st, you can no longer bring pets to stay. It's a pity. I will not go to this hotel in the future because pets cannot be brought together.
