Great hotel with wonderful breakfasts and popsicles. Bit of an odd location, neither central nor near the Paseo de Montejo

The Wayam hotel is ideally located for tourism at the well known Colón Ave. near down town, just a couple of blocks away from the new convention center. Rooms are beautiful and wide, very comfortables, just make sure you are not facing the avenue as traffic’s noise comes up. Pool on the 4th floor has a beautiful view but too cold. All personnel is very friendly but still too new and untrained for the hotel standards. Still, too new to be great and a bit overpriced but Management is eager to improve.

The location is extremely convenient, right across from Parque Santa Lucía. Everything in downtown is within easy walking distance, so we never needed transportation. The hotel is beautifully and cozily decorated, offering a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city. We particularly enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which has a very good breakfast menu with plenty of tasty options. The only downside was the rather slow Wi-Fi. We would definitely book here again!

Betten waren bequem, das Zimmer ausreichend groß. Lage ist super - nicht zu weit von der Altstadt entfernt.  Leider haben wir für 2 Personen nur ein großes Handtuch und ein kleines Handtuch bekommen, Handtücher für den Pool waren auch keine vorhanden. Die Dusche hatte wenig Druck, auch die Löcher der Duschbrause waren wohl teilweise verstopft.

Location is great. Friendly personel. Towels seem a bit old and stained. I GOT SICK with Breakfast, the chicken tinga was from the day before and had a rancid taste.

The hotel itself is beautiful and full of character, with spacious rooms that make for a comfortable stay. The historic charm and atmosphere are definitely highlights, and overall the property has a lot of potential. However, one issue that should really be addressed is the large number of dengue mosquitoes, especially around the pool area.
