"The Wayam hotel is ideally located for tourism at the well known Colón Ave. near down town, just a couple of blocks away from the new convention center. Rooms are beautiful and wide, very comfortables, just make sure you are not facing the avenue as traffic’s noise comes up. Pool on the 4th floor has a beautiful view but too cold. All personnel is very friendly but still too new and untrained for the hotel standards. Still, too new to be great and a bit overpriced but Management is eager to improve."

It was the best hotel we stayed in this Mexico trip. Hotel room was clean with good air conditioning. Shower was great too. Breakfast buffet offered many choices of Mexican food and drinks.

Clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The hotel was spotless, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better, close to everything I wanted to see and do. Despite being so central, it was surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location in a shopping center where Walmart, hospital and cinemas are also there. Very nice and quiet area close to all new Mérida developments and shopping and restaurants areas, good value for money. Rooms are cozy but a bit austere. Cleaning services not as you would expect from such a big chain of hotels.

The hotel's hardware and service attitude are OK. As it is far from the central area, it is suitable for those who drive by car, but I don't recommend it. I have stayed in several hotels in Mexico, and I have never seen anyone partying in the room all night. Yes, all night! For several days in a row, the hotel seemed to be unable to control it. It is probably because it has attracted fans. So it is better to stay in tourist hotels when traveling, and stay less in business hotels where locals stay. There are too many patients in this country.
