Great hotel - very mou

Our stay was very comfortable. Beds were awesome, breakfast was fresh and we all njoyed our stay.

A perfectly located and very homely little bed and breakfast that packs a lot of bang for buck. Friendly service, beautifully appointed rooms (excellent shower!) and located near all the historic sites of Charleston.

Excellent hotel stay with family located in a very convenient location to explore Charleston downtown and nearby Folly Beach. Hotel staff were friendly, room came clean, and breakfast was served nice and warm to enjoy each morning during our vacation. Shower/tub area of the bathroom could always be upgraded as ours felt a little faulty at times, but well aware that this hotel is an older building that's been renovated recently. For the price we paid for our short weekend stay, it was perfect for our needs and made our stay very comfortable in Charleston.

Trendy hotel, clean rooms! Great size TV and en-suite. No storage or fridge/safe/microwave/coffee in room. Reception on upper floor with bar (complimentary drink) and lounge with fab rooftop! Food served after 3pm was limited but tasty. Starbucks on ground floor.

The attitude of a black woman at the front desk was not good. The hotel bed was too soft, and her back hurt when she slept. Because my daughter stayed there for 38 days, I just booked this hotel to see her. Not recommended!

I think this hotel is quite general, the equipment in the room is a bit noisy, the front desk is a bit unsmart, the room card is given to me wrong, I wrote the room on the fifth floor, and then I got the card on the third floor, so I ran again.

The room was clean and in good shape. My problem was we were not able to close the black out curtains and a bright street light shone in. The room had no view except for the air conditioning units. This disturbed our sleep all night. The food was good but a bit pricey. The service was good and the staff that we met were friendly. Over all I probably would stay here again, but ask for a better room.

Very nice hotel. Middle of downtown so walking was the way to go. I would have liked to know that it was valet only, which I dont like, and the fact that it was going to cost me 98 bucks for the 2 days we were there...I might have chosen a different place. But overall it was nice. Big room, small tvs but we were out exploring, and you have full control over the AC. The hotel itself is the original Citadel which is really awesome staying in a piece of history.

It is suitable for bringing children, the breakfast is quite rich, there are fresh fruits, it is not good to eat breakfast, there is no waiter to help you take away the empty plate on the table, the plates in front of us are picked up. Hotel location is good, breakfast is on the top floor, the view is very good, recently the hotel is being renovated
