The place is on top of a small slope. Its environment is calm and peaceful. Room is clean, water pressure is strong. One can sit outside the room looking out to the far mountains. Breakfast is nice especially the sofa bean drink. It is near to a bus stop and also near a convenient store. It is also convenient to watch the sunrise a short distance away from the place. Would go back to stay if there is opportunity. Thanks for hosting us.

The homestay is very new, the proprietress has a good service attitude, and the meals are delicious.

A great homestay

Located at the highest point of Dinghu Lake, the scenery is stunning and the air is fresh. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. The furniture and amenities are just average, and dinner is a hot pot. For the price, it's only so-so.

The location is only 15 minutes from our destination, making it a great spot. The space is spacious, making it convenient for us to add another person. The extra person cost $600, which was very convenient for us. The extra bed is a mattress and includes breakfast! Breakfast offers both Western and Chinese options. The only downside was a power outage around 8:20 AM, which was very inconvenient while packing.

For driving passengers, the location is convenient, I don't like the Chinese style room type, but the bathroom is good and clean, McDonald's breakfast options are small shortcomings, but Chiayi has fewer accommodation options, and the overall is recommended.

Our stay in the family room at Fenqihu Hotel truly exceeded expectations! The room was much more spacious than I imagined; we could spread out our luggage with plenty of room to spare, which is a huge plus for families traveling together. The beds were incredibly comfortable – I fell asleep instantly, getting that much-needed relaxation during a trip 😌. What I loved most was how clean the entire place was. There was no dampness or stuffy smell, which is quite rare and impressive for a mountain area. It was also very quiet at night, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Waking up to a full mountain view outside the window, with super fresh air, felt like an instant recharge 🌄. The staff were also very friendly and approachable, patiently helping us with any questions we had. Plus, the location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to the old street, making it super easy to enjoy local food and take photos. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers looking to relax and conveniently explore Fenqihu. It's absolutely perfect for families, and I would definitely love to stay here again!

Staying right in the scenic area was super convenient for catching the sunrise tomorrow morning. The bathroom didn't have a shower screen though, so water splashed everywhere when showering. They provided breakfast vouchers for a designated restaurant. Alishan is beautiful; if you have the chance, definitely stay a night – no need to rush your visit.

The hotel is in a tourist community next to the visitor center, just a few minutes down the steps. It's also close to the amusement park shuttle bus terminal, the shopping street, and the small train station – the location is absolutely fantastic. The room was a bit small, and the bathroom had a Japanese-style tub. The decor and facilities felt quite old-fashioned. What was unacceptable was that the WiFi on the fifth floor didn't work at all. I could only pick up a signal from the second or third floor, but even then, I couldn't get online. I informed the front desk, but the person who came couldn't fix it either.
