Never seen such a weird hotel in my life for this price. I had already low expectations because of the reviews i read. But when checking in to the room we saw how small the room was. Even the bathroom with the bathtub was like children size. There were leftover clumps of hair on the floor and the floor was partly still wet. On the pillow were also leftover hairs, which felt really disgusting. The room has a window which you can open, but the funny thing is that it doesnt open into the outside air. It opens into a alleyway which you cant enter. They build a new wall for the rooms 2 meters away from the outside wall of the building. I dont know what happened here, but it felt really strange. The bed itself was comfortable, and the location was perfect.  We received 2 coupons for the breakfast, but we didn’t knew we had to walk to other side of town to a restaurant. Also a bit weird in my opinion, but not the biggest problem. We watched the sunset and went up by train on the mountain. And we hiked back into town to the restaurant. Long story short, my low expectations were right and it is definitely not worth 80 euro for a night. Please do a better job. Because you are located in a touristy place doesnt mean you can ask the same amount as every hotel in the area for a shid room! Unless you really want to see the sunset and are traveling on a budget like me. This is the cheapest option and i guess alright for 1 night. But in comparison to the price, this hotel should be ashamed of themselves!

The location is next to National Chung Cheng University. It is a Sunday and the students are on holiday. The shopping streets are not open. It is a bit troublesome to drive out on the provincial highway or near Minxiong City to find restaurants. But going for a walk on the university campus during the holidays is very peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff are friendly and can check in a little early, which is very convenient.

The landlady was very kind. They made a small machine by themselves that can carry luggage upstairs. For our family's four large suitcases from Europe Very convenient There are also many choices for breakfast The terrace on the third floor can enjoy the beautiful view of the Ali Mountains, sunrise and sunset It's a great choice

This is probably the most established hotel in Fenqihu, when you’re on the way to Alishan, either as a pitstop to get bento lunch or as an overnight stay. The facilities are very old and dated (I think maybe 90s renovated?), I stayed in the Japanese inspired room so it was on a tatami and low tables. There’s even a solo Japanese tub for you to soak in. All good. I appreciate the multiple wifi names as the property is quite sparse so the wifi signal is bound to be terrible. With multiple wifi spots with the same password, it’s easy to connect and have good wifi. I don’t like that the aircon is non-existent that there’s a fan. There’s a dehumidifier because the room is very humid from the bathroom. I think a lot of renovations need to happen to make this place more desirable. The 3 walking tours are amazing, the guide is so informative and helpful, she takes really good Instagram content! She only conducts the tour in mandarin so take note.

It feels like this is the most beautiful and newest hotel in the area, but there is no elevator. It happened that my suitcase was heavy and the time to enter was up, and the staff would move the luggage to my top floor room in advance; When I checked out, I went down the stairs myself. The service counter lady heard me ”bang bang” and she also went up to help me move down (she had amazing arm strength). Finally, she drove me to the station. The staff worked hard. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

The host family is friendly and actively assists the Alishan itinerary and spends time chatting with the guests. The value of the travel is improved. Awesome! Come on Xintai Friendly Long live friendship

The room is clean, the front desk and the service lady are very kind, and the explanations are very detailed. Because there are many guests, the carpet in the corridor is a bit old. The breakfast is plentiful and filling, and the dishes are average. But these do not affect the quality of accommodation, CP The value is very high and worth recommending.

In the middle of the tea garden, the scenery is excellent, the room facilities are novel, heating, and the breakfast is good, it is worth the night!

The first time I came to Shumei, the room type we lived in was simple, but the indoor lighting was bright and it felt good. But only the shower has no bathtub to take a bath ⋯ I don't know why the mobile phone signal here is very poor, and the WiFi message in the room is also very slow. There are movies to watch on TV, and it rained heavily after check-in. It was not bad to watch two movies.
