"The location is very good, diagonally opposite the South Branch of the Forbidden City. The facilities and meals are pretty good! The only downside is that there is no washing machine or dryer. The toilet is separated into dry and wet areas, and the toilet and sink are also separated, which is quite convenient. The counter staff is professional and considerate and will provide tourist attractions. There is also a massage chair in the hotel, which is a great blessing for drivers. "The location of the homestay is near the fish market, and you can go to the market to eat fresh seafood in a 5-minute drive! The rooms are clean and tidy and the equipment is great. It is very comfortable to live in. Recommend! The owner of the homestay is very kind and willing to share any questions he asks. There is an open space next to which you can park, so you don’t have to worry about driving."

TTofu-chanIf you want to do Alishan but feel the accommodation up there is too expensive, then you should stay here. It's an hour away from Alishan by bus and you can also do the Eryanpig trail where you can catch the beautiful sunrise and sunset.
The landlady was so accommodating and tried to help me with the translation app. She gave me some useful tips for the trip.
The room was nice and clean, had everything needed.

素素汶The rooms at the B&B are clean and the view is great. There are convenience stores nearby for shopping and tea gardens for walking. The owner is willing to provide guides for nearby attractions and fireflies. It is recommended to book dinner, the food is delicious and the honey-flavored black tea is delicious!

GGuest UserIf you are not engaging private transportation to hostel & using public bus then alight at main road. Do call in advance to get staff to pick at bus stop or else will be a long 1.5KM walk & not recommended to walk during dark or rainy day. The room are great if you stay lower floor. There no lift so all are by stairs. I stay at level3 with big luggage so imagine the efforts to bring up & down. Dinner option only hotpot & lucky the meal are great. The cafe within hostel are good so do try. Sunrise spot are good & easy to reach but depend on weather. do go early for good spot to sit down & wait since hostel Will always having big tour bus staying.

MmtmlThis is the main fenchihu hotel with the railway bentos. Front desk staff are very nice and helpful! The pork bento is also strangely much better than the chicken one imo (and full of veggies which was super enjoyable).
You do need to first carry your luggage down a steep flight of stairs from the train station to get to the old street, which is where they are at (right where the 7/11 is, you can't miss it).
There's no bottled water, but there is a water dispenser. They also provide 2 in 1 soap in the toilet. The room was very clean but (1) they don't do daily house keeping, so my trash really piled up after 3 days, (2) there is no aircon and the blanket is THICK so I would recommend that you turn the fan on, it helps alot, and (3) I had drain flies appear in the toilet on the second day and the drain did start to stink. Breakfast voucher is 200 NTD per room per day for use at the 7/11.

Sshuyi huangThe location is good. The hotel staff are very helpful and will inform you of all the information. The welcome afternoon tea is great. One drink per person and a large portion of small cakes. It is really excellent. Highly recommend.... The room is large and clean. The sauna equipment is old, the pool is a little dirty, the spa is broken, and the oven and steam room are not open. It would be better if it could be tidied up a little! The swimming pool is large and small, and the spa water is not deep. The spa is great for adults and children to play in, and the scenery is beautiful. Although the breakfast is not very rich, it has everything you need. It even provides beef soup, which is a plus because it is not available during renovations. Concert, looking forward to staying again after renovations to experience a different holiday atmosphere

GGuest UserStayed there for 2 nights, did not managed to catch the sunrise as the clouds were too thick. If you are there to get away from the city life, the place will be great, only setback is the location. If you are on roller luggage you probably want to think twice. Even if the luggage is not heavy but the slope is steep. So unless you are travelling by car, it is not advisable to stay there unless you are super fit. The owner wife design the place on her own. She also made very nice and cute stuff, interesting place. they also sell organic black fungus. If you are there for breakfast try it. The plants there are so beautiful too. Enjoy if you are there.

VvictravelsBetter than expected tbh. Pricey for what it is, but so are all the other accommodations in the alishan area so this is actually on the relatively cheaper end. They also do wakeup calls for those waking up early in the morning to watch the sunrise which is a nice touch. Only complaint is the bathroom. Bathtub leaked and the sewers kept making gurgling noises throughout the night? Otherwise everything else is decent.

The room was quite small, feeling cramped with luggage, and the service was basic (no frills or warm hospitality). A minor but noticeable inconvenience: no complimentary water bottle in the room, which would’ve been appreciated after a day of travel.
It’s functional for a one-night stay if you just need a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer visits. Manage expectations and pack light!
