"The environment of Hoya Resort Hotel is quiet. As soon as you enter the hotel area, you will feel relaxed and comfortable. The counter staff are enthusiastic and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also very rich and impressive. This time I came to Fuye because I participated in the Beigang pilgrimage to Mazu in Baishatun, so I really needed a good hotel to relax and rest before continuing on my way. I am very glad that I chose Fuye Resort Hotel, which allowed us to have a good rest before continuing on our way."

"You can find it by going up the slope opposite the gray house, which is across from the East Xiding Bus Stop. However, as soon as I arrived, the neighbor's dog started barking. There was no staff when I got there; I had to call the owner. The neighbor's grandma helped out. After 8:30 PM, there was no running water, though there was still water for handwashing. Overall, it was clean. There's a restaurant (with hot pot) right across from the guesthouse, at the bus stop. They also offer pre-ordered lunchboxes (available for pickup at 11 AM the next day). Walking towards the elementary school, there are convenience stores and restaurants, which is handy. The landlady is very chatty. Fireflies can be seen nearby (see pictures). After rain in August and September, I even saw a super giant, perfect rainbow, and sometimes even a double rainbow. The guesthouse lobby entrance displays the daily sunrise and sunset times. There were groups of three to five flies at the entrance and in the lobby. The lobby has menus, poetry collections, tourist information, tea bags (they smell wonderful even without brewing, and the brewed tea is very layered), coffee grounds, and a kettle. The tables are made from old sewing machine bases. The shower gel was my favorite verbena scent. After eating in the lobby, I had to walk quite a distance to wash my hands, which was inconvenient. There was no hot water for handwashing in the kitchen. Every time someone walked by, the neighbor's dog would bark. **Dorm Room Experience:** I really liked the bed curtain material. The bed was very comfortable. The bamboo blinds and wooden ceiling were great. There were many storage cubbies and lockers (each cubby was assigned to a bed). But there were no actual lockers. And for some reason, even though we were in the same room and paid the same price, another bed didn't have a bed curtain, no power outlet by the bed, and no storage cubbies under the bed. It felt like differential treatment. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, the neighbor's dog would bark. Breakfast was very filling; the egg pancakes were already cut into pieces, which was thoughtful; the blueberries were very sweet; the mushrooms had a buttery aroma; the edamame was cold and seasoned like salted chicken. The coffee grounds were specially blended by the owner's friend and cannot be bought elsewhere. If guests weren't present during meals, the landlady would cover the food with tissue paper, but flies still got close. I suggest using a plate to seal the surface. **Double Room (with private bathroom):** The room was large, the bed was large, the bathtub was large, and it had mountain views. **Twin Room (shared bathroom):** Simple and sufficient."

"I stayed in the Constellation room type. The room size was pretty good, but many of the in-room amenities weren't working. I'm not sure if it was due to the internet channels, but not only were there few channels, the picture quality was also very poor. After turning off the TV, music would play, but it was always very quiet. Breakfast was redeemed with vouchers at McDonald's or Luo Ji Minxiong Roubao. Personally, I found this quite inconvenient. It would be much better if the hotel restaurant provided breakfast, at least then you wouldn't have to go out and about. Unless, of course, you're checking out early, then it probably doesn't make a difference."

"It's very close to Budai Fishing Port, the nights are quiet, the rooms are clean, and there's a restaurant serving grilled fresh oysters and stir-fries within a three-minute walk. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance."

"Environment is peaceful and suitable for people who drive because it's quite far away from Taiping Bridge and not accessible by public transport. So we ended with plenty of time after arrival. So we engaged a private car to chauffeur us the next day for NT3500 from Minsu to Taiping Bridge (too misty to see anything), then had lunch at Fenqihu and finally stopped at Alishan hotel. We should have stuck to original plan to just go Fenqihu for NT1000 transport fare and stay there for a night because when we reached Alishan, it was near 3:30p.m., there's not much time for us to roam the place due to the gloomy weather and heavy mist."

The owner requested an additional TWD200 for my 5-year-old boy and kindly upgraded our room from 3 double beds to 4 double beds. The breakfast was comforting and tasty. They also provided stationery and coloring materials for kids to draw and paint, which was perfect for keeping my little one entertained. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The owner also kindly explained the route to Alishan and even brought us to watch the sunrise, which made the experience even more memorable."
