EEmma LeeSGIt is a beautiful stay. Aside from the wrong choice of transport, all are great. From comfort of accomodation, hospitality of the owner and workers to the delicious food and drinks. Advice: take a car to and from the accom or be like us, we took bus and pushed our luggages up the very steep slope on a high altitude, almost killing ourselves! Haa.

GGuest UserAlthough it's an old house converted into a guesthouse, it's very clean and has a unique charm. The courtyard design is quite thoughtful, and the breakfast is also very generous. Looking down from the guesthouse, the location is excellent; you can admire the mountain views and watch the sunrise right from the courtyard.

AA-OreoOur stay in the family room at Fenqihu Hotel truly exceeded expectations! The room was much more spacious than I imagined; we could spread out our luggage with plenty of room to spare, which is a huge plus for families traveling together. The beds were incredibly comfortable – I fell asleep instantly, getting that much-needed relaxation during a trip 😌. What I loved most was how clean the entire place was. There was no dampness or stuffy smell, which is quite rare and impressive for a mountain area. It was also very quiet at night, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Waking up to a full mountain view outside the window, with super fresh air, felt like an instant recharge 🌄. The staff were also very friendly and approachable, patiently helping us with any questions we had. Plus, the location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to the old street, making it super easy to enjoy local food and take photos. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers looking to relax and conveniently explore Fenqihu. It's absolutely perfect for families, and I would definitely love to stay here again!

GGuest UserIt’s a 10 mins walk to the nearest convenience store and eateries near to Xiding bus stop. The path gets quite dim and quiet at night. What’s nearby is mainly the “Tea and Mist Trail” - entrance to the trail is 2 mins walk from Dafang. The nearest bus stop to Dafang is Lincuo (3-5 mins walk away), which is not a major stop i.e. you can get off the tourist shuttle bus but you can’t board at Lincuo bus stop. The nearest stop to board the bus is Xiding. The room was fairly comfortable, but we were far from impressed with the aesthetics. Functional wise, It would have been useful to have a clothing rack in the room. While the room is spacious, the bathroom is rather cramped. Breakfast was simple and individually served, at the rooftop lounge which offers a great view of the mountain range.

GGuest UserAfter reading other reviews, I was prepared for the worst, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The pros are its excellent location, just a 5-7 minute walk to Alishan Railway Station. There's parking right in front, which is great for those driving. The breakfast restaurant they partner with is also really good! 👍👍👍 The downside is the poor soundproofing; you occasionally hear footsteps or people talking. However, since I was so tired, I fell asleep quickly, so it didn't bother me much. 🤣🤣🤣

GGuest UserThe name is very grand. From the appearance, you can see how the original owner put a lot of effort into building it. It is beautiful and some of the saunas in the facilities are great! The temperature is sufficient and the water is clean. It's a pity that the steam room is not open, but overall I am very satisfied. There is an outdoor swimming pool for swimming, an indoor gym, a children's playroom, several game consoles, etc. for use. Great! Have breakfast at Galileo Western Restaurant, the beef soup is super recommended! Others are ordinary but reasonably varied. Afternoon tea is great! It is recommended that everyone try their afternoon tea if you have the opportunity! If you want to take a vacation, you can come here~ It takes about 5 minutes to walk to Renyitan near the hotel. The lake and mountains are beautiful, especially the sunset, which is very beautiful!

GGuest UserThe hotel's hygiene was pretty good; I didn't notice any dirty spots, and the duvet in the room was comfortable and warm. However, the soundproofing in the room was really bad. I could hear everything from the toilet flushing next door to people showering and even sneezing 😂. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. It's situated lower down among a cluster of hotels and is the furthest from Alishan Station. Getting there involves walking down stairs or a slope, which means every time you go from the hotel to the station or out for a meal, you have to walk uphill, which is quite tiring 😂. Also, there's no elevator, and even though it's only three stories high, those with large luggage should be aware.

SStrongzhongThe hotel is in a tourist community next to the visitor center, just a few minutes down the steps. It's also close to the amusement park shuttle bus terminal, the shopping street, and the small train station – the location is absolutely fantastic. The room was a bit small, and the bathroom had a Japanese-style tub. The decor and facilities felt quite old-fashioned. What was unacceptable was that the WiFi on the fifth floor didn't work at all. I could only pick up a signal from the second or third floor, but even then, I couldn't get online. I informed the front desk, but the person who came couldn't fix it either.
