Great
GGuest UserMy experience was awful. The first night a false alarm went off in the entire hotel at 4:45am. The next day we came back to our room and the room service was not done. Lastly, since the hotel was going through renovations, our last night at the hotel was horrible since the day before the AC units on our floor were turned off cause of the same renovations previously stated. In summary, an awful experience especially for how expensive the hotel was. The only good thing was the location but will never stay at this Embassy Suites again

XxinxixiWe were very pleased with the room, especially having a small kitchen which was super convenient. However, I don't understand why our room wasn't cleaned on the second day when we stayed for two nights. The location here is very convenient; we walked to all the attractions. Chinatown is right next door, which satisfied our Chinese food cravings.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is at a very convenient location. It’s not that new but very cozy and clean. They have 24hrs coffee, tea, water, which is really great. And the welcome gift (snacks) is really helpful if you arrives late but don’t want to eat outside or heavy.

LLivyC75The hotel room was very spacious and well-designed with a large comfortable bed. There’s also a sauna with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The location is just north of Berri-UQAM station which makes travel convenient, although the area itself isn’t particularly safe and during the summer months, it’s clear there are a lot of individuals suffering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles who use the surrounding neighbourhood parks to hang out. The hotel staff were generally helpful although there were a few times we made requests to the front desk that needed following up. The amenities in the room itself felt very well-maintained. One downside was that there was no free bottled water provided and we had to buy water from the shop in the hotel lobby, which was heavily overpriced and we thought it was a bit ridiculous considering the price we were paying for the room. Overall, would recommend as it is a cheaper hotel than others but this comes with a price in terms of area safety and amenities provided by the hotel.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well. This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate. I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

LLorca_510The location is excellent. It’s like walking distance to everywhere in downtown. In my three days trip, we barely take any transport when we’re roaming around in downtown area. And the staffs are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again next time!!

KKuma san no ieThe room was clean and I had a comfortable stay without any issues. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, which made getting around easy. It was only about a 15-minute walk to Montreal Station, so even with a suitcase, it was easy to get there.

GGuest UserThe sink at the bathroom needs to be overhauled. Asides that the hotel is strategically located and has every amenity needed to ensure a comfortable stay.

AAnonymous UserThe price here is very good, but the house is not soundproof. You can hear the sound of the party next door at night, and there are people smoking in the room, which can be smelled in the corridor. The good thing is that the price is relatively good, but the deposit is too high.

GGuest UserThere is no breakfast, the service is average, and a deposit is required when checking in, and the deposit is returned when checking out, which is obviously troublesome and inconvenient for guests. Room inspection is required every time you check out.
