Traveling with friends, a large suite on the last day, a king-size bed room and a twin bed room to meet different accommodation requirements. Especially the large kitchen and dining room, you can also have a small gathering

The room was ok, clean and modern. The window views were too close to the windows of neighboring buildings so we sadly had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The location was convenient with plenty of restaurants, parks and shops within walking distance, and a short uber ride from old Montreal. The biggest problem is a hidden fee, they inflate the tax value and call it ”VAT Tax” which ends up being around 3-4x the normal tax amount, and it turns out that was just how they hide a ”Property Fee” while making their rates look lower and more competitive during the booking process, I don't think it's legal to call something tax when it's not being passed to the government! They want to be listed like a hotel and with deceptively lower rates, when it seems they are an AirBNB and need to hide a cleaning fee as Tax.

Design hotel, the rooms are quite large, relatively clean, and more cost-effective than traditional hotels.

A nice hotel with a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the arrival experience pleasant. The facilities are all very new and well-maintained, giving the hotel a modern and comfortable atmosphere. However, the hotel was recently renovated, so there was still a noticeable smell lingering in the rooms.

xinxixiWe were very pleased with the room, especially having a small kitchen which was super convenient. However, I don't understand why our room wasn't cleaned on the second day when we stayed for two nights. The location here is very convenient; we walked to all the attractions. Chinatown is right next door, which satisfied our Chinese food cravings.

Guest UserThe good points of this hotel is, The apartment is fairly clean and spacious, the location is central to cafes and to the beautiful canal which takes you to Atwater markets in a 25 min walk. It’s also safe and new area. It’s also 1.5km from the central train station. It has a washer, dryer & full kitchen so good for families.
Bad points is the apartment is quite noisy as it’s close to an intersection, there is one air conditioner in the living room, none in the bedrooms so bedrooms are quite warm & stuffy in Summer. It is marketed as a “hotel” however other than the reception it is actually the same as an Airbnb. I stayed for 3 nights but was told there won’t be cleaning done during my stay. They also do not replenish coffee & water. So if you’re looking for an Airbnb type accommodation this is good.

Guest UserHomewood suites is a new and modern hotel located in the heart of Chinatown. Convenient location close to metro, notre dame and good restaurants all within walking distance. Suite was very clean and it was nice to have a mini kitchen to be able to store food in fridge and microwave leftovers with utensils provided. Hotel breakfast is Standard nothing spectacular however, they serve hot coffee and tea throughout the day which was a nice touch.

Facilities: The facilities are basically complete, with bathroom supplies, hairdryers, water cups, tableware, coffee machines, and toasters in the public areas. The only regret is that slippers are not provided.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness inside the room, corridors and public areas is very good.
Environment: The housing environment is great, the layout of the room is warm and comfortable, the house is located in a residential area, and the scenery after snow is very beautiful! ! (Look at the picture😄) The room is very close to the subway. You can enter the subway in about two minutes' walk. The transportation is very convenient. One disadvantage is that since the rooms are made of wood, the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear clearly any movement next door and upstairs and downstairs.
Service: I didn't see the owner during the entire check-in and check-out process. He only took the key from the combination lock. It was not very adaptable at first, and because I didn’t receive the room password, I had to call the host to confirm. If I need to ask any questions, I basically call them by phone (not very friendly to friends who are not good at English). But after getting used to it later, I felt that this was pretty good. There was no need to wait or socialize (I was very happy😄). This is a matter of opinion.

This hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well.
This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate.
I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

The room was very clean and spacious which accommodated our group perfectly. The only complaint I have is about the parking. You need to park your car on the street for a little while, while they get your parking sorted for you.
When you get down to the parking garage you loose service so any questions you have won’t be delivered, and the elevator you take down to the parking garage isn’t the same one you take back up. You need to walk through the parking garage to another elevator to another building, go up to their main floor then exit that building, walk back to your hotel building and then take another elevator.
Why can you take the elevator down but not back up? Anyways I would stay again but thought this information would be useful for others so they don’t end up as confused as I was!
