Great
GGuest UserThis hotel is very clean and with great amenities. Breakfast buffet is very nice with lots of variety. Location is excellent with walking distance and close to metro, old port Montreal, Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. My family really enjoyed the stay at this Hampton Inn by Hilton.

GGuest UserMy stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—right in downtown and close to all the fun spots, many just a short walk away. The lobby greets you with a refreshing scent and genuinely warm smiles from the staff—they make you feel right at home from the start. I had the juiciest steak ever, and the 24-hour heated pool? Total relaxation! The only thing I’d change is the pool’s location. You currently have to walk through the restaurant and lobby (which are open to non-guests), so it feels a bit awkward strolling by in your swimsuit. A private walkway or different pool spot would make it perfect! Overall, I had an incredible time and would definitely come back. 🤗

BB-YThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of many attractions, making it very convenient. The staff is warm and friendly, and deserves praise. The daily gift of drink and snack vouchers, good for use in the hotel restaurant from 5 to 7 p.m., was a welcome bonus. The room was large, with ample space and a jacuzzi, but it was quite noisy. The curtains were quite dusty, and many of the hooks were broken, making them difficult to close. Overall, however, the room was quite nice.

MMatt88My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms. We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow. For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests. Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name. Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings. I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel, reasonable prices, the room is squeaky clean, friendly hotel staff and very accommodating. I noticed only 1 minor thing, you have to pay for the parking spot per night. Generally it was a great stay. Will recommend and stay again soon.

GGuest UserI’ve been coming to Hotel Zero 1 for a few years, being the only hotel I book in Montreal due to its impeccable walkability. That being said, it’s unfortunate that it’s no longer shiny and new, you can really see the wear and tear over the years. If you want luxury you’re not going to find it here; however, it’s still a great place to stay for the action packed traveller who wants somewhere a bit nicer than a motel to stay. I booked knowing full well it wasn’t going to be the most amazing stay but it was not as bad as some of the Google reviews make it out to be- it’s just dated. The room was clean, check in and check out was easy, and even though the valet service is closed, the parkade they directed us to was safe and straightforward. I’d categorize this hotel as 3 stars as the amenities aren’t that great, but just know what you’re walking into, manage your expectations to that, and you will have a great stay. It’s just kind of a shame to see a hotel that I have great memories in not keep up with maintaining the property. If they repaired the fabric on the bed, replaced the shower heads and updated with smart TVs, that would make a world of difference. TLDR; Pros: clean linens, cable tv, microwave and fridge in the room Cons: dated technology, broken Roku, only one elevator for the whole building, no on site parking.

Bbobodoglocation is ok, price is acceptable, sanitation is ok, facility is ok, service is ok. generally this is an old school fashion hotel with required quality. two things that are not so satisfied during this journey. One is although the location is convenient, the surrounding environment is not that good. the hotel is low rise building, and there is a open park nearby. you can here some people grouping and noising at midnight occasionally, i think they rejoice with weeds. also when you walk outside street, the air is full of **** smell. the second thing is the problem with fire arm in my room on one afternoon, which is loud and harming my ear.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well. This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate. I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

GGuest UserThe hotel locates opposite to a small garden with quiet neighbourhood. Yet it's close to bus stops and eateries. The closest supermarket is 10 minutes walk away, while the Metro Station Peel is 30 minutes away by foot. The room was spacious, equipped with sufficient kitchenettes, a sofa, dinning table with chairs, and washing machine. However one should be reminded only to book the room with garden view. Otherwise you would has to pull the curtain down always in order to keep your privacy from the next building. Please be aware that a reachable phone no. is necessary for registration online. No luggage storage before check in, nor after check out.

SSailinnuoQueenWhen booking, I was a little worried because of the low score. After I checked in, I found that it was actually a relatively old hotel. The room facilities were old. When I went in, there was indeed a smell. The room was large. The next room in the middle of the night kept sounding alarms and people could not sleep. After communicating with the front desk, it will be solved in about 10 minutes. Breakfast is Western style, scrambled eggs and bread milk, very ordinary to eat but no new ideas, parking 10 Canadian dollars plus 15% tax, transition one night is barely acceptable.
