"I lived on the island for a few days. A few days ago, I was in other hotels by the beach. The humidity and darkness are very uncomfortable. Because it is convenient to take a boat the next day, I changed to this hotel near the dock and the main street on the last day. Its decoration style is simple and clean. The bedding is soft. There is a bad place. The seal is not very good. Someone in the next room is smoking on the balcony. The smell is uncomfortable. I also heard the next door quarreling. The soundproofing of the room is not good. Try to keep your voice as low as possible. Maybe I will choose to live in this area next time. It seems to be a relatively balanced choice on Samet Island."

"Although the hotel is located at the very end of Sai Kaew Beach, it's a 15-minute walk to the pier and a 5-minute walk along the beach to a 7/11. So you don't feel far away from everything.
The staff is very friendly and always responded quickly to requests.
We stayed in early September and had a buffet breakfast. Not a huge selection, but you definitely won't go hungry. Breakfast is served on the veranda overlooking the sea.
The hotel has its own grounds, which the staff keeps clean, and the beach near the hotel was illuminated in the evenings.
We were very pleased with our stay."

"The hotel is new, all the bath accessories are there, no need to bring a bunch of bubbles with you. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, brushes, pastes, cotton swabs. Clean, nice, hot water! The location is ideal - the center of all the action, but at the same time quiet and calm at night, you can't hear the music. "The room is good, comfortable, everything you need is there. Comfortable bed, smart TV, kettle. Of the minuses, the hotel is located on a busy road, bikes race until the night, very unlucky for those who have rooms close to the road, and the rest will not get silence either, the windows are ordinary and do not hold the sound. "The hotel is good overall. It only takes 10 minutes to walk from the pier to the hotel. There are two 711s in front of the hotel, a food stall opposite, and a two-wheeled car station opposite the hotel. It is also close to the beach and very convenient for travel.
The hotel is still a little noisy on the street. The hotel is a three-story building, but there is no elevator, so you have to carry your suitcase upstairs by yourself.
The hotel does not provide disposable toiletries. The water pipes in the washbasin do not have hot water. Only the water in the shower has hot water. Although the hotel has a bathtub, the water quality in Thailand is really bad. The water released is yellow, so I didn’t choose to take a bath."

"The location is great, you just go out and you're on the beach. Beach towels are provided upon request. There are 2 bottles of water in the room. But the standard room windows don't face the street, but the corridor, so it's so-so. I didn't see it in the room description. Clothes don't dry, but that's a feature of all island hotels. The bathroom doesn't smell very good. Yes, it's convenient that bean bags on the beach are provided to guests at no extra charge."

"The hotel was right at the beach so it was very convenient. It also has a nice restaurant with breakfast, lunch, dinner menus so we never had to go too far for food. Some of the hotel staff were very nice and kind, some were cranky but that's alright.
The AC in our room was leaking and we informed the hotel but they could only provide us towels to deal with the leakage. I booked quite last minute so I can't really complain with the room choice.
All in all, I do recommend the hotel."

"The stars of this hotel are the staff particularly the manager, Act, who could not be more helpful. She made everything about my stay easy and stress free.
The hotel itself is just across the quiet island road from the beach. Here there is white sand and crystal clear water. To the left is the busier section with all the normal beach activities together with bars and restaurants. It is just a 15 min walk into town this way. To the right the beach is quieter.
If you continue along the beach to the right you can follow the coast path which ‘hops’ from bay to bay making for a pleasant walk.
The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. You are supplied with everything you need including snacks, beach bag, wet bag, beach towel and beach mat.
I had a wonderful stay at Green Bay and thoroughly recommend it."

NNATALIAWonderful, soulful, homely hotel. Like at the dacha. We lived in an economy inexpensive room. Clean, everything was thought out. Hair dryer, beach bag, umbrella. White bed linen. Air conditioning is away from the bed, comfortable to sleep, set so that it does not blow too much. Thanks to the staff for their friendliness! Wongduen beach is good in the morning, after lunch the sea is muddy, we went to Ao chor beach, not far to walk. From 10 along the beach we carried fruits, chicken, grilled fish. There is a cafe on the shore. We left back on a speedboat, the pier on the beach is 300 baht. One small minus, closer to the night near our house a toad screamed loudly 😂.

ZZhanpeiThe room is a little small but that's OK. It's clean and tidy, but it's a little old so it feels a little plain. The location is very good. You can just walk to the pier without taking a pickup truck or bus. The soundproof glass is very good, so it won't be noisy because it's close to the pier. The scenery is really good. GGuest UserPlease be aware: if you don't book the deluxe room, you will not receive a bungalow, but rather a room located in a rather unattractive main building. I found this quite misleading, as all the pictures shown online exclusively featured the bungalows. For this reason, I strongly recommend booking the deluxe room. My negative rating applies *solely* to the standard (non-bungalow) room and the deceptive images presented during the booking process. The photos displayed are NOT what you will get when booking a standard room!

MMarinaThe hotel is conveniently located, but tuk-tuks do not bring you to it, you have to walk through the courtyards from the bus stop, the first time we thought we would not find it, then we got used to it when you know the way. The location is convenient, on the 1st line, but perpendicular to the sea, so the windows overlook the backyard and the restaurant toilet. Apparently, during the low season, the restaurant staff got used to sitting there, talking, playing with the children, it was difficult to relax during the day, there was constant noise outside the window. Even when we asked them to be quieter, after some time they gathered there again and talked endlessly loudly, watched videos, played games. Then they moved to the area in front of the reception, but they talked so loudly that the noise still interfered with rest. At the same time, you will not find employees in the restaurant when you need to order food or pay, they are all relaxing there for their own pleasure. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the beach, but the restaurant staff tried to kick us out from there on the first day and insisted that we should order something in the restaurant, this spoiled the impression, of course. It is strange that the hotel has a restaurant, but no breakfast, it would be more convenient with breakfast. At 9 am, large groups of Chinese tourists are brought to the restaurant, in principle, as in other neighboring restaurants on the first line. The room is not bad, but old, the bed is comfortable, the TV only has Thai channels. The toilet in the bathroom is leaking, the faucet, apparently the same is on the floor above, because water was dripping from the ceiling and there is mold on the ceiling, and in the toilet itself there is no ventilation and a terrible smell of mold. There is no toilet paper, in front of the entrance to the toilet there is a holder with thin napkins, which is very inconvenient. We lived on the 1st floor, since among us there were people with disabilities, in front of the room there is a table and two chairs, but sitting in front of the restaurant toilet is not at all pleasant. Also, the employees in this place eat their own food and sometimes the smells are very unpleasant. The hotel is for very unpretentious visitors, but the sea is wonderful and two steps from the beach. On the main street there are many restaurants, massages, two 7-11, currency exchange. It's a couple of minutes' drive from the ferry.

MMarinaОстанавливаемся в этой гостинице второй год. Расположена она очень удачно в самом центре пляжа возле пирса и парковки. Можно добраться сразу на катере, а если от парома на тук-туке, то надо смотреть, чтобы привезли в этот поворот, потому что часто привозят в первый поворот к другим гостиницам, а оттуда по песку с чемоданами далеко и неудобно. Эта дорога прямо в центре пляжа, они идет к зданию охраны заповедника. В прошлом году был новый ремонт, мебель не новая, но все работает. В прошлом году не было ТВ каналов, но был Youtube, в этом году не брали фильмы с собой, понадеялись, что посмотрим в Youtube, но он теперь не работает, только ТВ каналы на тайском, в основном новости и реклама. Хотя это странно, в гостинице жили только иностранцы, можно было хоть один канал на английском подключить или оставить Youtube. В гостинице всего 6 номеров, рядом массаж и ресторан соседней гостиницы. В отличие от соседних гостиниц в этой есть свои лежаки на пляже, очень удобно. Управляющий плохо говорит по-английски, но всегда очень дружелюбный и старается во всем помочь, проблем в коммуникации не было. В этом году стало намного больше туристов на пляже, стало много лодок и катеров, такого спокойствия и умиротворения как в прошлом году уже нет, но вода очень чистая, песок белоснежный, все еще похоже, что это заповедник.
