"First and foremost, I'd like to thank Sonya at the front desk. Despite the language barrier, she was incredibly helpful and patient in contacting the bus company to help me locate my bag, which I'd left on the bus (even though the bus company ultimately said they couldn't find it, Sonya never showed the slightest bit of impatience). Secondly, the hotel's breakfast, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. It's also very close to both the beach and the main street. I would definitely choose to stay here again on future visits."

"This was my favorite hotel of the trip! I loved the private bungalow with its own little yard, and stepping right out onto the hotel's beach was fantastic. The breakfast was excellent, and having their own convenience store and bar on-site was super handy. Plus, there's a scooter rental right by the entrance. All in all, highly recommended!"

"Perfect location right on the beach. The beachfront restaurant is very good and caters to a variety of tastes. The rooms are decent. The hotel is more geared toward younger guests, who visit in large numbers, but it can also be a good choice for families who do not mind the lively atmosphere."

"The hotel is very quiet, located at the southernmost tip of Koh Samet. Although it's a bit far to get there, once you're at the hotel, you have access to kayaks and snorkeling, so there's really no need to venture out. The staff are also very enthusiastic."

"Nestled on Koh Samet, an island with very basic amenities, Paradee truly stands out. It boasts its own secluded beach, far from the main street (a one-way taxi ride to the main street costs 450 baht and takes about 25 minutes). With stunning beachfront views and fine white sand, it's the perfect escape for a peaceful vacation after a busy period. The rooms have a very Thai-style decor; while not new or ultra-modern, the cleanliness and attention to detail are quite good. Breakfast is a buffet combined with à la carte options – though not extensive, the food is delicious! There's complimentary afternoon tea daily, with drinks and small snacks served per person. The hotel restaurant's food is excellent; the seafood fried rice, burgers, and banana pancakes we ordered were all very tasty! The staff here are incredibly professional! Every employee greets you with a friendly smile, and they're especially kind to children. The private pier transfer adds to the overall emotional value. I highly recommend that every visitor to Koh Samet dedicate two or three days to unwind and relax at Paradee."

"The hotel has an excellent location, but the room is far too small for a family with two young children. There is no wardrobe and very little storage space for clothes and personal belongings for four people. The area in front of the mirror is already occupied by the minibar, safe, kettle, and glassware, leaving virtually no space for guests' own items. We struggled to find room even for basic necessities such as sunscreen and toiletries. While the location is a major advantage, the room size and lack of storage made our stay quite uncomfortable."

"This hotel has very clear pros and cons. 1. We booked a beach house, so as soon as we opened the door, we had direct access to the beach and the sea, which was super convenient for playing. 2. Although it's not a rocky beach, it's a resort cluster, so the people there are mostly staying nearby. This means it's not too crowded, offering more privacy, and there are a lot of European and American tourists. 3. The downsides are quite critical though. Our room was close to the beach and made of wood, so there were a lot of ants. Even with bug spray, it was no use, and we got bitten many times. 4. The location is also a major drawback; it's really far from the pier, and we couldn't rent a motorbike, making it very inconvenient to go out. We had to rely on the shops along the beach for anything we wanted to buy. It's not ideal if you want to explore the island."

"How do I even begin! I went to Koh Samet with no expectations, but Le Vimarn Cottages & Spa is supposedly the second-best resort on the island. My overall impression wasn't great, mainly due to how the resort handled the broken air conditioning in our bungalow on the first day. We took a private car from downtown Bangkok to Ao Prao Pier (the hotel's private pier, which has its own lounge). Following the resort's email instructions, we boarded the 1:30 PM boat to the resort, which took about 15 minutes. The welcome drink upon arrival was quite good. The resort isn't very large, and there weren't many guests. When we discovered the AC was broken, we immediately contacted housekeeping. From housekeeping to engineering to the front desk, and then to Ctrip, we spent an hour in the sweltering room and outside before finally being moved to another room. It seemed like Ctrip had to intervene to resolve the issue before the front desk staff led us to our new room... The whole process was incredibly frustrating due to the heat! Later, the front desk found me on the beach and offered us an upgraded room. I went to see it but declined, as it was quite dark inside, and I prefer bright, airy rooms when I'm on vacation. She told me the room would be held for us if we changed our minds. Because I didn't move, the front desk came to find me again on the beach and offered a complimentary pizza as compensation. This proactive attitude was a definite plus. We stayed at Le Vimarn for three nights. The rooms are simple, Thai-style wooden bungalows. The 1.8-meter bed was just right for a family of three. The mini-bar is chargeable. If you're visiting Koh Samet, remember to bring a filtered shower head. Breakfast was pretty much the same every day, but it tasted good. We had dinner at Buzz once, and the food was good, but with a 10% service charge and 7% tax, it ended up being a bit expensive! The resort is a 15-minute drive from the main street (where the 7-Eleven is, 200 baht one-way). The front desk can arrange a taxi. Later, we rented a scooter, which we could park on a slope about a 2-minute walk from the front desk. I scraped my foot on a coral reef while swimming, and the front desk provided basic first aid. For the last two days, we stayed at Paradee Resort, which is a sister hotel to Le Vimarn, so they offered a free transfer. However, if you're traveling with kids, I'd highly recommend Paradee Resort – the environment, facilities, and staff are all much better."

"1. The room is large. It has all the necessary furniture for working on vacation (crucial for me), and places to put books and tablets. 2. It's clean and cozy. There are many windows, but even though the bungalow is small, it's still a bit dark. The windows are opaque from the outside, so no one can see you when the curtains are open. 3. The air conditioner is quite quiet. The outdoor unit is located right behind the closet, so you don't hear any humming when it's running. 4. The bathroom is huge and bright. All amenities are provided, even a rubber mat to prevent accidental slips. The drain works well, there are two showers, and a separate faucet just for washing your feet – everything is very well thought out. 5. There's a safe, bathrobes, flip-flops (!), and, of course, towels. The bed is large. We arrived with my daughter, but there were no bungalows with two beds. They apologized and gave us two blankets. This is luxury-class care, thank you! 6. Sea view. The sea is just two steps down a path. New, good sun loungers, umbrellas, and a wonderfully equipped beach. 7. Light and pleasant music plays all day. This might be a problem for some, so be aware, but we didn't mind it. There was no music on Sunday. At the beach bar, the music stops strictly at 11 PM, but you can hear the neighboring bay's music – I'd go crazy if I lived there. In bungalows further from the restaurant, you can't hear any music at all. The property has bungalows with sea views, cottages, rooms, and beachfront suites – accommodation for every taste and budget. The grounds are very picturesque and well-maintained. You can take a taxi to the pier for 250 baht. 8. The breakfasts are amazing. We haven't encountered hotels with such breakfasts in a long time. Every day there were 2-3 types of meat, fish, potatoes, pasta, soups, rice, a ton of sweets, even sweet rice. And cheese (!). There was Camembert, Brie, and some hard cheeses. Ham/sausages/omelets/eggs, of course. A coffee machine, tea, juices, fruits. In short, during our 5-day stay, we only went to a restaurant for dinner once :) We were full all day! 9. Check the tide map. If low tide starts in the morning, it can be a significant issue. The bay is small, and at low tide, the water recedes so much that swimming is a problem. When there's plenty of water, everything is great, and there's even a small reef where you can wander and look at fish. 10. Summary: The hotel is excellent, with guest care at every turn. We will definitely return. Prosperity to the resort and a huge thank you to the staff for their care!"

"Facilities: The hotel has a restaurant and offers massages. Although the sea-view bungalow I booked wasn't very big, the view was great, and the ecological environment was lovely. Hygiene: The hygiene conditions were quite good, and staff were cleaning the path to the room both morning and evening. Environment: The environment is actually very good. It's excellent for watching the sunrise, and there's a beach right in front. At low tide, there are plenty of crabs and fish. The only downside is the bar at the neighboring hotel, which played loud music past midnight, disturbing my rest. Service: Overall, the service was good. They helped with luggage, and both check-in and check-out were very fast."
