NunuThe hotel's overall environment is great, perfect for a vacation, and the room privacy is excellent, very comfortable. The drinks at the restaurant are also delicious, and you can see many giant clams and fish on the beach right outside. The only downside is that the chlorine in the swimming pool is too strong! My child's body, inner thighs, and neck all broke out in rashes. My child swims frequently, and we've never encountered this at previous hotels. Even my friend developed scattered red rashes after swimming for just half an hour.

Even though Koh Samet isn't a very large island, after exploring a bit, my favorite spot was definitely the beach right in front of the hotel. The waves were gentle, the sand was clean, and it wasn't as crowded as Diamond Beach. While it's about 2.5 kilometers from the main street, the hotel front desk can arrange scooter rentals or help you call a songthaew for 200 THB one way. There's also a small pier directly in front of the hotel, so you can take a speedboat straight from Ban Phe Pier to the hotel for 300 THB one way. If you plan to use this service for a round trip, it's best to confirm the times with the hotel in advance. The hotel's breakfast selection was really limited, but honestly, that's pretty standard for the entire island. My family of three had a perfect 5-day stay here, and my child absolutely loved it. All the staff at the resort were very nice, especially the young man at the front desk who provided excellent service.

Guest UserThe facilities are great. I stayed here once for New Year's Day and came back for a few more days. The hotel has its own beach, and in the evenings, they offer open-air movies and fire dance performances. They thoughtfully provide both deep and shallow swimming areas, so kids can play safely. The pier is also a unique feature. It's a bit disappointing though that when I came for New Year's, the room included a welcome scarf, and the mini-bar had free snacks and drinks. This time, the room price was significantly higher, and those little extras were gone. However, the overall experience is still excellent, making it perfect for a vacation. P.S. First thing to do when you get to the island: rent a scooter!

Anonymous UserThe hotel has an excellent location, but the room is far too small for a family with two young children. There is no wardrobe and very little storage space for clothes and personal belongings for four people. The area in front of the mirror is already occupied by the minibar, safe, kettle, and glassware, leaving virtually no space for guests' own items. We struggled to find room even for basic necessities such as sunscreen and toiletries. While the location is a major advantage, the room size and lack of storage made our stay quite uncomfortable.

Guest UserThe pictures are really just for reference; make sure to check the room size carefully. This is the furthest hotel from the pier on Koh Samet, and the beach isn't great – lots of rocks, making it very inconvenient to get around. Plus, the hotel might be new, as many facilities are still incomplete, and food options are extremely limited. If you want to go out for food or shopping, the round-trip transportation costs are exorbitant. My biggest complaint is their bathroom. The drainage is terrible. I complained twice, and they couldn't fix it. After one person showers, the floor is completely flooded, and the water doesn't drain. You have to wait an hour before the next person can shower.

Guest UserWe loved everything!
The grounds aren't huge, but they're green and there's a pool. Breakfasts are tasty and varied: every day there's toast, scrambled eggs, coffee, omelets made to order, several kinds of fruit, and hot dishes that change daily.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The bungalows are a bit old and small inside, but they have everything you need. There was an issue with the air conditioning, which was fixed very quickly. The only thing is the shower water was only lukewarm (or maybe we couldn't figure out how to adjust it). The Wi-Fi was decent, flying in the morning but slower in the evening.
And the main thing is that the hotel is located on a stunning beach. It's peaceful here, but not boring, with cafes, a small shop, and fire shows. The hotel provides sun loungers.
The taxi stand is behind the hotel, so getting around is easy, or you can walk and explore different beaches.
If we go to Samet again, we'll choose this hotel again, partly because of the beach.

The most important thing about this place is its owner. Alex is a wonderful and friendly local islander. He truly puts his heart into what he does and does everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. Have a problem? Just talk to Alex and he’ll do his best to help. Need advice? Ask Alex! I think the main idea is clear
As for the place itself, it’s calm and quiet, yet close to the central part of the island where all the main shops are located. The beach is a 3-minute walk away, another one is about 5 minutes away — everything is nearby. The hotel has its own bar and a private area, peaceful and relaxing. The main issue is mosquitoes, but that’s not really the hotel’s fault — after all, there’s nature right behind the fence, and a very unusual one at that. We even saw a giant stick insect on the property for the first time ever, lol 🙂
The bungalow has all the basic essentials: a bed, air conditioning, a toilet, a shower, and a kettle. It might be nice to have a wardrobe or some storage for clothes, but that’s just a small nitpick.
If you’re not picky and don’t need five-star service, but appreciate a warm and genuine welcome, I can highly recommend this place!
Thank you, Alex — if we ever come back to Samet, we’ll definitely stay with you again!
