It snowed heavily that day, and I was very grateful that I could find a place to stay in just a few minutes with my luggage. If I wanted to go to Togakushi, the station was just across the bridge, and the location was very convenient. The surrounding area was also very convenient, with many things to eat and buy.
However, the overall accommodation environment was relatively poor. This was the first time I stayed in such a poor hotel in Japan.
Facilities: The location was very good, and the station was only a two-minute walk away. The bathroom was inconvenient, and the faucet for the shower was turned on and off together with the washbasin, and the facilities were very old.
Hygiene: The room was dark and looked not very clean, and I couldn't sleep well
Environment: Free breakfast was provided
Service: So-so

This is a truly authentic experience! Cosy, with traditional furniture and bed, whilst still offering very comfortable options it's the best of both worlds. Plus, the view is among the best in town and the breakfast is authentic and charming. It was a beautiful experience to say here and the fact the hosts did not speak English actually added to the experience. I'd be sure to visit again next time I'm in Nagano.

1) Location: Get off at Zhongshe and walk about 3-400 meters. You can reach it in a straight line.
2) Hotel: Decorated in the 1980s-1990s, there is no heating in the corridor, but there is heating in the room, and the temperature is suitable. There is no bathing in the hotel. The hot spring is in a large covered tub. There is no heating in the shower room and toilet.
3) Meals: You can order them at the hotel. The boss’s skills are pretty good and delicious, but not very cheap.
[Five-star recommendation] Try to avoid bringing a trolley suitcase in winter. The road is too difficult to walk. It is uphill to get to the hotel. I arrived at night and fell a few times. It was too painful.
Located within the precincts of Zenko-ji Temple, the inn boasts traditional vegetarian cuisine

Very good experience of visiting Shanguang Temple, the exquisite all-vegetarian kaiseki cuisine is impressive and suitable for travelers who really want to visit. Everyone in Sufang is kind and courteous.
A thatched roof lodge surrounded by the seasonal mountains and a sea of clouds.A lodge with an Irori (traditional Japanese hearth) where has nestled in the mountain.

Although it was only about a 40-minute drive from Nagano Station, it was quite deep in the mountains.
There were no convenience stores nearby, so I was able to forget about the city and relax.
There was a hearth, so I was able to experience the countryside.
I could see the sea of clouds, there was a hot spring, and the room was spacious, so I was very satisfied.
There was also a refrigerator.
The oyaki were small, but a pack of three cost 750 yen.
I took some frozen ones home with me.
I would like to visit again.

It was an amazing experience, I'd love to stay there again in the future. Location is extremely convenient to explore Nagano city and to travel. Atmosphere in the hostel also was great, I loved talking to people in the living room.
Omeitei uses seasonal Togakushi ingredients and offers traditional kaiseki course cuisine including soba noodles. The ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) also has a reputation for fine service that can only be provided by a small ryokan. null

In order to go to the Huyin Shrine to choose this one night, the hotel is near the China Society. Although the hotel facilities are general but very clean, the dinner is a noodles banquet. The taste is very good and completely exceeds the expectations of a small hotel. The breakfast is simple (see Figures 2, 3, 4,), but the taste is also very good. Recommended

I was worried about the declining birthrate and the smell of cigarettes. The location was good by car, and the dining room, which was a 10-minute walk away, was full of local feelings, and it was great to be open without any goodwill. Katsudon is delicious and super reasonable. It is recommended.

GGuest UserI liked this inn very much, so it is the fourth repeater this time. Just beside Togakushi Jinja shrine, the meal is delicious, so I brought my mother this time. The meal at night was very delicious, but the breakfast was less than before and was not enough. Also, the room was on the second floor and the stairs were steep, so it seems that it was not very good for my mother.
GGuest UserFamily is too cold! ! Because the house may be a bit old, there is no air conditioning everywhere. It depends on the kerosene stove. It stops for three hours. I caught a cold at night. But all aspects of environmental sanitation are very good. It is very convenient to ski nearby!
AAnton VoroshilinThis is an extremely cosy place, but I would not dare describe it as luxurious. It is dated and simple, with the most basic amenities.
However, I liked it a lot. The best part about this ryokan is its owner, an elderly man. He truly puts his heart and soul into his establishment. He even suggested to give us a ride to the station, however the weather was nice and we decided to walk instead.
I'd like to highlight the breakfast: it was gorgeous, given the price. I'd even say it tasted better than a ¥3000 dinner I had at some local restaurant.
The whole experience felt like visiting your grandparents, who live in a village, during the summer.
