However, the Nikko in Nagano far exceeded my expectations. The variety of amenities in both the room and bathroom was excellent. The breakfast on the 16th floor, in particular, offered a great selection, fresh ingredients, and delicious, well-prepared food that felt very high-quality – truly a big thumbs up! The hotel's location is also superb. Downstairs is Nagano's dining street; there's even a fantastic seafood restaurant just a 3-minute walk away on that street. It's also only 5 minutes to Nagano Station and 6 minutes to Zenkoji Temple."

"This is a perfect spot in Nagano if you want to take a break before heading to other parts such as Hakuba for skiing . It is literally right at the station and connected via MIDORI where you can buy groceries and with lots of restaurants. Due to fight delay, we arrived late at night at around 10pm. MIDORI shops were all closed but ht path to hotel still open and we can still find plenty of cafes nearby. It has reserved Alpico bus to Hakuba right at hotel or you may go to the regular bus stop at bus station 26 for higher frequency of bus service. Will definitely stay here again if we need to stop over at Nagano. Though the hotel is not new, it’s spacious and clean enough for a comfortable stay ."
