"The location is in the east of the ancient city. It is not on the most prosperous and lively main street, so it is much quieter. The inn is well decorated. It can be seen that the owner has good taste. The room is spacious, especially the bathroom is separated into dry and wet. If you don't know how to take a shower, you will wet the toilet. It is much more convenient than many other similar inns.
Poor sound insulation is a common problem of all wooden inns. If you don't sleep well, it is best to prepare earplugs and other items to assist.
The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. After arriving, he treated us to the famous local roasted tea, homemade papaya vinegar and plum lemon slices. In the evening, he also helped us prepare roasted bait blocks and Dali's most famous three-course tea. It was very pleasant to chat with the boss and other guests.
I heard from the boss himself that he was going to renovate the inn and add the roof to it. In the future, you can go directly to the roof to sit and chat and watch the stars. I look forward to staying here when I go to Weishan again in the future😆"

"The hotel is modeled after a Beijing courtyard house and looks great in photos. The owner said it opened this year and is completely new, seemingly renovated from the former office compound. The floors and main structure are over a decade old, and the wall paintings are probably new, so there's no smell. It's much cleaner and tidier than most B&Bs. The owner's wife personally cleans everything, taking care of every detail. The owner and his wife are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are two tea areas where you can chat and enjoy the fresh air. One neighbor mentioned staying at another B&B in the ancient city and finding it less pleasant, and they agreed. There's even a glass room upstairs for drying clothes. The hotel is very close to the Dafu Farmers Market, making it convenient for buying fruit and other things. It's a short cut to the ancient city, only about five or six minutes away. Our family of five stayed for nine nights and was very comfortable. It was a truly wonderful stay. Oh, and I highly recommend staying on the second floor for better ventilation! This place is nothing special; it's simply because the owner and his family are so kind. I appreciate this positive review! All the pictures are my own!"

I woke up in another village hotel in the early morning of the same day after a few nightmares, because I wanted to live quietly, but it was too quiet and something happened. The first day I went to the grave of the big and small temples to drink tea alone. I climbed to the big temple alone from the small temple. The heavens were not beautiful, and the thunder was rolling. This long road with a grave scared me. I returned to the hotel in the village. The boss didn’t say that I could feel that there was no human on the floor where I lived. My instinct told me that there was something wrong in that place. There was no wind and no narrow tube effect. Because there was no ventilation at both ends of the aisle, The door of the room closed violently, and I was so scared that I slept without washing.
At three o'clock in the morning, the little boy, the elderly, the couple, and the woman were walking through my dreams. I almost died of cardiac arrest and got up to take a taxi. I found that the positioning of the village hotel was a funeral service company. God milk, I thought I was still in my dream, and I took my face. I found that it was not a dream. I quickly called a few friends who were sometimes on the jet lag. I called the car for more than half an hour without the driver taking the order. A friend asked me to call the Hanting front desk for help and see if they have an exclusive hotel shuttle. The front desk sister told me that she couldn't come and had to work. There was a tall banana tree in the small yard, a basketball 🏀, and a table tennis table. The railing was full of plants that should be called climbers,... I stayed for another day. The dog at the door was a bit lazy. I wanted to take pictures with it. It kept lying on my back.

GGuest UserI visited Weishan Ancient Town from Japan on a pilgrimage to the sacred land of Tianguan Cifu. As an inexperienced Japanese person traveling in China, I had to get used to using map apps, Alipay, translation apps, etc., and it was hectic and a little tiring, but the inn welcomed me very warmly.
I was relieved because I didn't think I would be able to communicate in both Japanese and English.
They kindly told me about a restaurant, and I was able to eat delicious noodles in the morning. I'd like to go back and talk to them again.

The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service.
You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.

I saw this youth hostel on Xiaohongshu. It is said that the atmosphere and environment of this youth hostel are very good, but after checking in, I didn't feel anything.
