The room is large and the equipment is very complete. The projection, small degree, air conditioning, smart toilet are all available. The location is excellent, one step away from the bustling ancient city; if you don't want to be too noisy, it is also very comfortable to bask in the sun, drink tea and chat in the yard. I want to move it, there is a table tennis table on the first floor, and the whole family likes it very much. By the way, the beautiful boss and family are very friendly, and the sugar water and rice cakes on the first day of the new year are very amazing!

In the end, I still tried it. The stay was very good, the boss was warm and polite, and fully showed the essence of our Yunnan people, Dali people, simple and kind. The room is comfortable, I don’t know if it’s a new decoration, but the cleanliness is real, the refreshing is also true, there are free snacks and small happy water, the children are very happy, not worth a few dollars but people feel very good ～ The location is really good, that is, not in the core old city, The house will not be so old and cramped, it is on the edge of this small ancient city, and it is also in the ancient city, and the check-in points of the park, the Confucian Temple, and the Pioneer Bookstore around the ancient city are basically covered within ten minutes. Finally, let’s talk about those bad reviews. Can you say that everyone has their own standards, some bad reviews are indeed a bit critical. FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

1. It has an old-house feel, not a new house with old-fashioned decor.
2. It's spacious enough; I hate rooms under 25 square meters (many small houses in the ancient city have been renovated, which is understandable).
3. The location is great, but you can get to the door by taxi.
It hits all three points.
The soundproofing is poor in an old building, which is understandable; it needs to be maintained by the guests.
The front desk lady was also very nice.

zhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous! The courtyard was so cozy; it was so relaxing to just sit there and daydream when I didn't have to go out. It's located in the old town, but not too close to the main road, so it was very quiet. I slept soundly every night for three nights! It's also very close to the main road of the old town – just a one-minute walk to the right after you leave. It's also very close to the popular Fan Ji Spicy Restaurant. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and they provided disposable toiletries. Since it's a guesthouse, the soundproofing isn't the best, but the manager thoughtfully provided earplugs. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

He will recommend a lot of food that only locals eat, and often organize activities and dinners to go around. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, friends from other places came back to celebrate the festival together, and the festive atmosphere was full; you can also cook in the youth hostel, and there are chefs among the friends who travel with you, and there are dogs to play with; I originally wanted to stay for three days, but later I slowly got to know Weishan and liked the people here more. I had a super good time with my friends in the youth hostel, and I kept staying and didn’t want to leave; I will come back next time if I have the chance!

The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service.
You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.
